Then (is one) who is brought up in ornaments and he in the dispute (is) not clear.

What, one who is reared amid ornaments and, when the time of altercation comes, is not to be seen
Is then one brought up among trinkets, and unable to give a clear account in a dispute (to be associated with God)
أَوَمَن يُنَشَّؤُا۟ فِى ٱلْحِلْيَةِ وَهُوَ فِى ٱلْخِصَامِ غَيْرُ مُبِينٍۢ ١٨
awaman yunasha-u fī l-ḥil'yati wahuwa fī l-khiṣāmi ghayru mubīni
