If they could find a refuge or caves or a place to enter, surely, they would turn to it, and they run wild.
View 82 More Translations ↓if they could but find a place of refuge, or any cavern, or a crevice [in the earth], they would turn towards it in headlong haste
If they could find a shelter, or some caverns, or any place to creep into, they would turn about and bolt away to it
If they could find a place to flee to, or caves, or a place of concealment, they would turn straightaway thereto, with an obstinate rush
لَوْ يَجِدُونَ مَلْجَـًٔا أَوْ مَغَـٰرَٰتٍ أَوْ مُدَّخَلًۭا لَّوَلَّوْا۟ إِلَيْهِ وَهُمْ يَجْمَحُونَ ٥٧
law yajidūna malja-an aw maghārātin aw muddakhalan lawallaw ilayhi wahum yajmaḥūn
