1:1  In the name of Allah (God), the Mercygiving, the Merciful!
1:2  Praise be to Allah (God), Lord of the Universe,
1:3  the Mercygiving, the Merciful!
1:4  Ruler on the Day for Repayment!
1:5  You do we worship and You do we call on for help.
1:6  Guide us along the Straight Road,
1:7  the road of those whom You have favored (prophets, loyal persons, martyrs and honorable men), with whom You are not angry (the Jews), nor who are lost! (the Christians)
