qāla maʿādha l-lahi an nakhudha illā man wajadnā matāʿanā ʿindahu innā idhan laẓālimūn
He said, "Forbid Allah that we take except (one) who, we found our possession with him. Indeed, we then surely (would be) wrongdoers."
He answered: "May God preserve us from [the sin of] detaining any other than him with whom we have found our property-for then, behold, we would indeed be evildoers!"
He said: Allah forbid that we should seize save him with whom we found our property; then truly we should be wrong-doers
He said: "Allah forbid that we take other than him with whom we found our property: indeed (if we did so), we should be acting wrongfully
Joseph responded, “Allah forbid that we should take other than the one with whom we found our property. Otherwise, we would surely be unjust.”
[Joseph] answered, “May God preserve us from [the sin of] detaining anyone other than the person on whom we found our property; that would be unjust of us.”
He replied, God forbid that we should take anyone other than the person on whom we found our property. In that case, we would clearly be wrongdoers
He said: Allah protect us that we should seize other than him with whom we found our property, for then most surely we would be unjust
He said: God be my safe place that we take but him with Whom we found our sustenance. Truly, we, then, would be of the ones who are unjust.
He said: "God prevent us from taking anyone except the one whom we found our property with! We´d then be wrongdoers."
He (Joseph) replied: “Allah forbids that we should take anyone but him with whom we found our property. Indeed we then should be wrongdoers.”
He said, “God be my refuge that we should take any save the one with whom we found our property! For then we would surely be wrongdoers.
He replied, “God forbid we should seize anyone other than the one in whose possession we found our property. Otherwise, we would be unjust.”
He said, 'God forbid that we should arrest anyone except him in whose possession we found our property; for then we would be unjust.'
(Yusuf) said: “(I seek) refuge of Allah that we may detain except that with whom we found our property. Indeed, in that case we are surely transgressors''
Joseph replied: "God forbid that we should seize other than the one with whom we found our property: if we did so then indeed we would be unjust."
He said, " Allah be my refuge that we should take anyone except him at whom we found our belongings; (then) surely we would indeed be unjust."
He replied, "God forbid! How could I take someone in place of the thief? In doing so I would be committing injustice."
He said, .We seek Allah‘s refuge from keeping anyone other than him with whom we have found our thing, otherwise we shall be unjust
Joseph (stressing the circumstantial evidence) answered, "God preserve us from detaining other than him with whom we have found our property. For, then we would indeed be unjust."
Said, "May Allah help us! We can only keep the one, in whose baggage we found the stolen goods. We may not keep any one else! Otherwise, we will be the transgressors!"
He (Yusuf) said: "Allah forbid that we take other than him with whom we found our property: Truly (by that), we should be acting wrongfully."
He said, "[I seek] the refuge of Allah [to prevent] that we take except him with whom we found our possession. Indeed, we would then be unjust."
He said: "God forbid that we would take anyone except he whom we found our belongings with. Indeed, we would then be wrong doers."
He replied, ‘God forbid that we should take anyone other than the person on whom we found our property: that would be unjust of us.’
He said: Allah forbid that we should take anyone but him with whom we found our stuff; verily then we should be the wrong-doers
"May God forgive us," he said, "if we hold any one but him with whom we found our property, or else we would be unjust."
He said, ´Allah forbid that we should take anyone but him with whom our goods were found. In that case we would clearly be wrongdoers.´
He said: "God forbid that we take any other but him with whom we found our merchandise; (if we did otherwise) then surely we (too) would be wrongdoers."
He said, ‘God forbid that we should take anyone except him with whom we found our wares, for then we would indeed be wrongdoers.’
Said he, "I seek refuge in Allah from taking any save him with whom we found our property; verily, we should then be certainly unjust."
He said: “May God protect me that we take anyone except whom we found our property with him, for then we are indeed of the wrongdoers.”
He said, “God forbids that we take other than him with whom we found our property. Indeed, we would be acting wrongfully
“Allah forbid! We should arrest anyone other than him in whose possession we found our belongings,” he said, “Then we would be blatant wrongdoers.”
Joseph said: "Allah forbid that we should seize any except him with whom we found our good. Were we to do so, we would surely be one of the wrong-doers."
He said: "Refuge is sought with God that we would take anyone except he whom we found our belongings with. Indeed, we would then be wrong doers.
He said, "Allah forbid that we seize a man other than him with whom we found our property. We would indeed then be doing a very wrong thing."
He said, 'be refuge of Allah that we should take any other but him with whom we found our goods then we shall surely be unjust.
He said, "GOD forbid that we should take other than the one in whose possession we found our goods. Otherwise, we would be unjust."
He replied: 'Allah forbid that we should seize any but he with whom our property was found, for then we should be harmdoers.
He said: Allah forbid that we should seize other than him with whom we found our property, for then surely we should be unjust
He said: "I seek protection (of) God, that we take except whom we found our belongings/effects/goods at him then we are unjust/oppressive (E) ."
Joseph replied: “God forbid. It will be injustice to punish any one other than the thief.”
He said, "The refuge of Allah from that we should take anyone except him with whom our property was found - we would then surely be unjust."
He replied, `ALLAH forbid that we should take any other but him with whom we have found our property; for then we would certainly be unjust.
Yusuf (Joseph) said: ‘Allah save us from detaining someone (other) than him with whom we have found our item! Then we shall become of the unjust.
He said, `God forbid that we take anyone except the one with whom we found our property, for (otherwise) we would, of course, be unjust.
He said: "Allah forbid, that we should take anyone but him with whom we found our property. Indeed (if we did so), we should be Zalimoon (wrong-doers)."
He said, 'God forbid that we should take any other but him in whose possession we found the goods; for if we did so, we would be evildoers.
Joseph answered, God forbid that we should take any other than him with whom we found our goods; for then should we certainly be unjust
Said he, '(I seek) refuge in God from taking any save him with whom we found our property; verily, we should then be certainly unjust.
He said, "God forbid that we should take but him with whom our property was found, for then should we act unjustly."
He said: ‘God forbid that we should take any but the man with whom our property was found: for then we should surely be unjust.‘
He said, “God forbid us from holding any other than the one with whom we found our property. We then certainly would be of those who are wrongful.”
He said: 'God forbid! If it should happen that we took any other but him with whom we found our chalice, then we would definitely be of those who have voluntarily and consciously abandoned the Full Knowledge of the Truth in favour of their own whims’.
He said: Allah forbid that we take except him whom we found our belongings with, otherwise we would be wrongdoers.
(Joseph) said, “Allah, preserve us from detaining anyone besides the one with whom we found our property. We would indeed be wrong to do so.”
He said, “God is my refuge! Were we to take anyone except him in whose possession we found our property, we would then most surely be unjust.”
He said: "Allah (God) prevent us from taking anyone except the one whom we found our property with! We'd then be wrongdoers."
He said, “Incantation to Allah to take except the one whose we found our property with him; surely then we are oppressors.”
He answered: 'God forbid that we should take any other than the man with whom we found our property; for then we would be wrongdoers.'
(Joseph) said, “We take refuge in Allah from taking one other than he in whose bag we found our possession... For then, we will indeed be wrongdoers.”
He said: 'Allah forbid that we take(anyone)other than him with whom we found our property. Indeed(if we did so)we would certainly be of the unjust ones'.
"Allah forbid", said Yusuf, "that we should take to our custody but him with whom we found our personal property or else we will be wrongful of actions."
He said, “Allah protect (us) that we seize (some) one other than him with whom we found our property, in that case we will certainly be unjust.”
He said, 'I seek refuge in God that we take except him with whom we found our goods; indeed, we then surely are wrongdoers.'
He said: "God forbid that we take other than him with whom we found our property: indeed (if we did so), we should be acting wrongfully
He said, "Allah forbid that we take except (one) who, we found our possession with him. Indeed, we then surely (would be) wrongdoers.
