Then is (he) who is on a clear proof from his Lord like (he) who, is made attractive to him (the) evil (of) his deeds while they follow their desires.
View 78 More Translations ↓CAN, THEN, he who takes his stand on a clear evidence from his Sustainer be likened Unto one to whom the evil of his own doings [always] seems goodly, and unto such as would follow but their own lusts
What, is he who is upon a clear sign from his Lord like unto such a one unto whom his evil deeds have been decked out fair, and they have followed their caprices
Is then one who is on a clear (Path) from his Lord, no better than one to whom the evil of his conduct seems pleasing, and such as follow their own lusts
أَفَمَن كَانَ عَلَىٰ بَیِّنَةࣲ مِّن رَّبِّهِۦ كَمَن زُیِّنَ لَهُۥ سُوۤءُ عَمَلِهِۦ وَٱتَّبَعُوۤا۟ أَهۡوَاۤءَهُم ١٤
afaman kāna ʿalā bayyinatin min rabbihi kaman zuyyina lahu sūu ʿamalihi wa-ittabaʿū ahwāahu
