(of) what
mā
م ا
has revealed
anzala
ن ز ل
Allah
l-lahu

to you
ilayka

And if
fa-in
ا ن
they turn away
tawallaw

then know that
fa-iʿ'lam
ع ل م
only
annamā
ا ن ن م
intends
yurīdu

Allah
l-lahu

an

afflict them
yuṣībahum
ص و ب
for some
bibaʿḍi

(of) their sins
dhunūbihim

And indeed
wa-inna
ا ن ن
many
kathīran
ك ث ر
of
mina
م ن
the people
l-nāsi
ن و س
(are) defiantly disobedient
lafāsiqūna
ف س ق
