By the mount
By a Book written in rows [Qur'an 37:1]
In parchment published [Qur'an 37:2]
By the oft-visited House [angles visiting Kaaba]
By the elevated roof
By the sea flared up with fire,
Indeed, the punishment of your Lord will occur.
To it [the day below] there would be no repelling.
A Day the heaven will whirl [with a] whirl;
And the mountains will move, moving.
Then woe, that Day, to those who belie,
Those who they are in a discourse [magic, fortune telling, gossip, ill talks], playing [with the truth].
The Day they will be called to the Hell, forcibly.
[Angels of Hell said], "This is the Fire which you were therein lying.
So is this still a magic, or do you not see?
Roast in it; so be patient or impatient, it is all the same upon you. You are only being recompensed by what you were working on."
Indeed, the righteous will be in paradises and bliss,
Rejoicing with what their Lord has given them, and their Lord protected them from the punishment of Hellfire.
[They will be told], "Eat and drink in pleasure about what you were working [righteous, Qur'an 52:17 in effect]."
They would be reclining upon couches lined up, and We married them with fair women having large, [beautiful] eyes.
And those who believed, and their offspring followed them in faith, We joined with them their offspring; and We will deprive them from their deeds, nothing. Every person, with whatever he earned, is pledged.
And We supplied them with fruit and flesh for what they are desiring.
They will therein exchange a cup [of wine] with one another, no ill speech be through that nor be any sin.
And circumambulate immortal boys for them, that seem like protected pearls.
And approached, some of them, upon some others, questioning [their circumambulation around Kaaba].
They said, "Indeed, we were previously in our families fearful [of displeasing Allah].
So Allah conferred favour upon us and protected us from the punishment of the hot wind.
Indeed, we were supplicating Him before [this]. Indeed, it is He, He is the Beneficent, the Merciful."
So remind [O Muhammad], for sure you are by the grace of your Lord neither a soothsayer, nor a madman.
Or do they say [of you], "[He is] a poet, we wait with him a mishap of the time?"
Say, "Wait, for sure, I am with you from those who are waiting."
Or do their dreams command them about this [waiting], or are they a people of taghut [false gods]?
Or do they say, "He forged it?" No but is there [Qur'an 52:29]. They do not believe.
So let them bring about a narration like it [Qur'an], if they were truthful ones.
Or were [those `truthful' ones] created from nothing [i.e., no cause]? Or are they the creators [of themselves]?
Or did [those `truthful' ones] create the heavens and the earth? No but is there [Qur'an 52:34, they are not truthful]. They are not sure.
Or have they with them the treasures of your Lord [O Muhammad]? Or are they the controllers?
Or for them is a ladder [reaching the heaven] they are eavesdropping through? So let their eavesdropper bring about an obvious authority.
Or for Him the daughters, and for you the sons?
Or do you, [O Muhammad], ask them a payment, so they from debt are overburdened?
Or with them the unseen belong, so they are writing down?
Or are they intending a plan? But those who disbelieved, they are the target in the plan.
Or do they have a god other than Allah? Highly Exalted is Allah above what they associate.
And if they were to see a fragment from the sky falling, they would say, "Heaped up clouds."
So leave them [O Muhammad] until they meet their Day in which they will be stunned.
The Day their plan will avail on them, nothing; nor will they be supported.
And indeed, for those who oppressed is a punishment beyond that, but most of them do not know.
And be patient, [O Muhammad], to establish your authority by your Lord, for sure, you are in Our eyes. And exalt [your Lord] with praise of your Lord when you arise.
And in a part of the night so glorify Him and [in dawn] at the retreat of the stars.
