The Hour came near, and the moon split.
And if they see a sign, they turn away and say, "A constant magic."
And they belied and followed their vein desires while every matter was settled [in the Qur'an].
And there has certainly come to them from the news whatever [agents] through which they are deterring
The far reaching wisdom [Qur'an, Qur'an 36:2], so [their deterrence] will not avert the warnings.
So turn away from them, [O Muhammad]. On a Day when the Caller calls to a terrible thing,
With their humbled sights, they will be emerging from the graves, as if they were locusts spreading,
Rushing toward the Caller. The infidels say, "This is a hard Day."
Before them, the people of Noah belied, so they belied Our slave and said, "A madman," and he was deterred.
So he invoked his Lord, "Indeed, I am overcome, so help."
So We opened the gates of the heaven with water pouring down
And caused the earth to burst with eyes, and the two waters met over a matter [tsunami] already proportioned.
And We carried him upon an [ark made of] planks and nails,
Sailing with Our eyes as reward for he [Noah] who was disbelieved.
And certainly We left it as a sign, so is there anyone who remembers?
So how it was [how]; My torment and My warnings.
And We have certainly made the Qur'an easy for the remembrance, so is there any who remember?
[The people of] Aad belied; So how it was [how]; My punishment and My warnings.
Indeed, We sent against them a screaming wind in a day of continuous misfortune,
Pulling out the people as if they were trunks of uprooted palm trees.
So how it was [how]; My punishment and My warnings.
And We have certainly made the Qur'an easy for the remembrance, so is there any who remember?
[The people of] Thamud lied about the warnings.
So they said, "Is one humankind from us whom we should follow? Indeed, we would then be in astray and madness.
Was the reminder cast upon him from [the omen] between us? No but is there. He [Salih] is a liar, an evil."
They will know tomorrow who is the liar, the evil.
Indeed, We are sending the she-camel as a test [outside humankind, a kind] for them, so watch them and be patient.
And inform them that the water is shared between them, each drink attended [by the she-camel].
So [as they confess themselves as liars Qur'an 54:26, and Salih as truthful, Qur'an 54:25, due to she-camel's breathing on the water] they called their most evil friend, and he grabbed her and hamstrung [her].
So how, it was [how]; My punishment and My warnings.
Indeed, We sent against them a single shout, so they became like the dry twigs of a sheep pen-builder.
And We have certainly made the Qur'an easy for the remembrance, so is there any who remember?
The people of Lot lied about the warnings.
Indeed, We sent upon them a storm of stones, except the family of Lot, We saved them by dawn
As favour from Us. Thus We rewarded whoever was thankful.
And he already warned them of Our assault, but they disputed about the warnings.
And they certainly attempted to overcome him on his guests, so We obliterated their eyes, [saying], "So, taste My punishment and My warnings."
And certainly in the early morning seized them an abiding punishment.
So taste My punishment and My warnings.
And We have certainly made the Qur'an easy for the remembrance, so is there any who remember?
And certainly, there came to the people of Pharaoh, the warnings.
They lied about Our signs, all of them, so We seized them with a seizure of one Mighty, Powerful.
Are Your [present, future, seen, unseen] infidels better than those [punished people], or Do you [the present, future infidels] have immunity in the Zaboors [the written records]?
Or do they say, "We all together will be victorious"?
Soon the gathering will be defeated, and will turn the back [fleeing].
No but is there [it will be defeated]. The Hour is their appointed time, and the Hour is more disastrous and more bitter.
Indeed, the criminals are in astray and madness.
The Day they are dragged into the Fire upon their faces [it will be said], "Taste the touch of Saqar."
Indeed, everything that We created is with a measure.
And Our command is not except one, like the blink of the eye.
And We have already destroyed sects [like of] yours, so is there any who would remember?
And everything they did is in the Zaboors [written records].
And every small or big, is written in lines.
Indeed, the righteous will be in paradises and rivers,
In a seat of truthfulness near a Sovereign, Perfect in Ability.
