64:1  Whatsoever is in the heavens and the earth is reverent to Allah. To HIM belongs the Sovereignty and to HIM belongs all praise and HE has almighty control over all things and their measure.

64:2  HE it is WHO created you— thenceforth of you is a disbeliever and of you is a believer. Allah is all-seeing of what you do.

64:3  HE created the heavens and the earth in [expression of the] Truth, and HE shaped you— and beautified your forms and unto HIM is the end [of all journeys].

64:4  HE knows whatever is in the heavens and the earth and HE knows whatever you conceal and whatever you disclose. Allah is ever knowing of the bosoms’ inner holdings.

64:5  Has not the news of those who had disbelieved aforetime, reached you? They did taste the ill consequence of their undertakings. And for them is a painful punishment.

64:6  That, because their messengers had come to them with telling proofs, to which they said, “Will a mere mortal guide us?” So, they disbelieved and turned away. Whereas Allah is beyond need. And Allah is ever self-sufficient, ever praised.

64:7  The ones who have disbelieved have claimed that they will never be resurrected. Say, “Yes indeed! By my Rabb, you will most certainly be resurrected, then you will be categorically apprised of what you did. And that is easy for Allah.”

64:8  So, believe in Allah and HIS messenger and the Light which WE have sent down. Allah is ever aware of what you do.

64:9  [And believe] in a time set when HE will assemble you for the Day of Assembly. That is the Day of self-deception’s reckoning. Whereas, whosoever believes in Allah and does good, HE will erase his misdeeds from him and admit him in gardens with rivers flowing in subservience, abiders therein beyond time— that transcendent success!

64:10  And the ones who had disbelieved and denied OUR signs— they are the reapers of the Fire, abiders therein. And wretched is the destination.

64:11  No calamity befalls except by the leave of Allah. And whosoever believes in Allah, HE guides his heart. Allah is ever knowing of all things.

64:12  Obey Allah and obey the Messenger. For if you turn away, only clear conveyance is incumbent upon OUR Messenger.

64:13  Allah— there no god except HIM. On Allah then let the believers rely.

64:14  O you who believe, truly some from among your spouses and your children, are indeed inimical to you, so beware of them. And if you pardon and overlook, and forgive— Allah indeed is forgiving, ever merciful.

64:15  Your wealth and your children are merely a test, while with Allah is the transcendent reward.

64:16  So be conscious of Allah to the best of your capacity, listen and obey, and spend for the good of your souls. And whoever is saved from his soul’s possessiveness— those are the successful ones.

64:17  If you advance Allah a beautiful loan, HE will multiply it for you and forgive you. Allah is appreciative, clement.

64:18  Knower of the unseeable and the evident, the Almighty, the all-wise
