bal yurīdu kullu im'ri-in min'hum an yu'tā ṣuḥufan munasharata
Nay! Desires every person of them that he may be given pages spread out.
Yea, everyone of them claims that he [himself] ought to have been given revelations unfolded
Nay, but everyone of them desireth that he should be given open pages (from Allah)
Forsooth, each one of them wants to be given scrolls (of revelation) spread out
In fact, each one of them wishes to be given a ˹personal˺ letter ˹from Allah˺ for all ˹to read˺.
Yet, every one of them wishes to be given scriptures unrolled before their very eyes.
Indeed, everyone of them desires to have sheets of revelations unfolded before the
Nay; every one of them desires that he may be given pages spread out
Nay! Every man among them wants to be given unrolled scrolls.
Yet every last man among them wants to be handed scriptures all spread out!
Nay, everyone of them desires that he should be given pages spread out (writing from Allah that Islam is the right religion).
Rather, every man among them desires to be given pages unfolded
Does each one of them wish to be handed out widespread pages?
Yet every one of them desires to be given scrolls unrolled
Nay! Every man of them desires that he may be given Suhuf (booklets) Munashsharah (spread out)
Nay, each of them wants a scripture of his own to be unrolled before them
No indeed, every person of them would like scrolls spread open to be brought him
Is it that everyone of them wants to receive a heavenly book addressed to him personally
Rather, every one of them wishes that he should be given unrolled (divine) scriptures
Nay, each of them wants to be given the scrolls of Revelation personally, unfolded (and spoon-fed)
In fact, each one of them wants to be handed over his (very own customized) scriptures all spread out
No doubt, each one of them wants to be given scrolls (of Revelation from Allah) spread out
Rather, every person among them desires that he would be given scriptures spread about
Alas, every one of them wants to be given separate scriptures
Each one of them demands that a scripture be sent down to him and unrolled before his very eyes
Aye! every one of them desireth that: he should be vouchsafed scrolls expanded
In fact every one of them wants to be given open books (like the prophets)
In fact each one of them wants to be given an unfurled scroll.
Indeed, every one of them desires that he should be given a Book (particular to him) opened out
Rather everyone of them desires to be given unrolled scriptures [from Allah]
Nay; every one of them desires that he may be given pages spread out (or open)
Yet, every one of them wants to be given open papers (from God),
Still each one of them wants to be given scrolls spread out
Rather, each man among them wants a revelation to be rolled out and handed over to him.
No indeed; each one of them desires that open letters be sent to each of them
Alas, every one of them wants to be given separate scripts.
They would rather want scrolls (of revelation) rolled out to every one of them separately
Nay, rather every one of them wishes that he may be given open sheets of revelation;
Does each one of them want to receive the scripture personally?
Indeed, each one of them desires to be given unrolled scrolls
Nay, every one of them desires that he should be given pages spread out -
But every/each human from them wants/intends that he be given/brought written sheets/pages (books/scriptures) spread/publicized
Do they expect a personalized letter of invitation for each of them
Rather each one of them desires that he should be given open Books
Nay, every man among them desires to be given an open Book
In fact, every one of them desires that he should be given (directly) open scrolls of (heavenly) scriptures
The fact is that everyone of them desires that he should (individually) be given open Scripture (direct from heaven)
Nay, everyone of them desires that he should be given pages spread out (coming from Allah with a writing that Islam is the right religion, and Muhammad SAW has come with the truth from Allah the Lord of the heavens and earth, etc.)
Nay, every man of them desires to be -- given -- scrolls unrolled
But every man among them desireth that he may have expanded scrolls delivered to him from God
Nay, every man of them wished that he might have given him books spread open
And every one of them would fain have open pages given to him out of Heaven
Indeed, each one of them demands a scripture of his own to be unrolled before him
Nay! Each person among them wants to be given a book which is set in detail.
Yes, every one of them desires that he would be given expanded scrolls.
But each man amongst them wants to be given his own scripture.
It seems that each one of them wants to be given unrolled scrolls [detailing their misdeeds].
Yet every one of them wants to be given scrolls unrolled.
Yet every last man among them wants to be handed scriptures all spread out!
Nay, but every person among them wants to be given propagated scrolls.
Perhaps each one of them desires to be given pages (of revelation)!
No, every man from among them desires that he should be given open pages.
Ironically every one of these infidels wants a Scripture to be revealed to him and alone
Nay, every man among them desires that he be given books spread out.
Forsooth, each one of them wants to be given scrolls (of revelation) spread out
Nay! Desires every person of them that he may be given pages spread out
