10:22
هُوَ الَّذِي يُسَيِّرُكُمْ فِي الْبَرِّ وَالْبَحْرِ حَتَّى إِذَا كُنْتُمْ فِي الْفُلْكِ وَجَرَيْنَ بِهِمْ بِرِيح ٍ طَيِّبَة ٍ وَفَرِحُوا بِهَا جَاءَتْهَا رِيحٌ عَاصِف ٌ وَجَاءَهُمُ الْمَوْجُ مِنْ كُلِّ مَكَان ٍ وَظَنُّوا أَنَّهُمْ أُحِيطَ بِهِمْ دَعَوْا اللَّهَ مُخْلِصِينَ لَهُ الدِّينَ لَئِنْ أَنْجَيْتَنَا مِنْ هَذِه ِِ لَنَكُونَنَّ مِنَ الشَّاكِرِينَ
Huwa Al-Ladhī Yusayyirukum Fī Al-Barri Wa Al-Baĥri Ĥattá 'Idhā Kuntum Fī Al-Fulki Wa Jarayna Bihim Birīĥin Ţayyibatin Wa Fariĥū Bihā Jā'at/hā Rīĥun `Āşifun Wa Jā'ahumu Al-Mawju Min Kulli Makānin Wa žannū 'Annahum 'Uĥīţa Bihim Da`aw Allāha Mukhlişīna Lahu Ad-Dīna La'in 'Anjaytanā Min Hadhihi Lanakūnanna Mina Ash-Shākirīna
He is the One who carries you on land and on the sea. And when you are on the ships and We drive them with a good wind which they rejoice with, a strong gust comes to them and the waves come to them from all sides, and they think that they are finished, they implore God with loyalty and devotion to His system: "If You save us from this, we will be of the thankful."
14:18
مَثَلُ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا بِرَبِّهِمْ أَعْمَالُهُمْ كَرَمَاد ٍ اشْتَدَّتْ بِهِ الرِّيحُ فِي يَوْمٍ عَاصِف ٍ لاَ يَقْدِرُونَ مِمَّا كَسَبُوا عَلَى شَيْء ٍ ذَلِكَ هُوَ الضَّلاَلُ الْبَعِيدُ
Mathalu Al-Ladhīna Kafarū Birabbihim 'A`māluhum Karamādin Ashtaddat Bihi Ar-Rīĥu Fī Yawmin `Āşifin Lā Yaqdirūna Mimmā Kasabū `Alá Shay'in Dhālika Huwa AĐ-Đalālu Al-Ba`īdu
The example of those who reject their Lord is that their works are like ashes, upon which the wind blows strongly on a stormy day, they cannot get anything of what they earned. Such is the farthest misguidance.

وَلِسُلَيْمَانَ الرِّيحَ عَاصِفَة ً تَجْرِي بِأَمْرِهِ~ِ إِلَى الأَرْضِ الَّتِي بَارَكْنَا فِيهَا وَكُنَّا بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ عَالِمِينَ
Wa Lisulaymāna Ar-Rīĥa `Āşifatan Tajrī Bi'amrihi 'Ilá Al-'ArĐi Allatī Bāraknā Fīhā Wa Kunnā Bikulli Shay'in `Ālimīna
And to Solomon the gusting winds run by his command all the way to the land which We have blessed in. And We were aware of everything.

فَالْعَاصِفَاتِ عَصْفا ً
Fāl`āşifāti `Aşfāan
So the gusts then blow.

Wa Al-Ĥabbu Dhū Al-`Aşfi Wa Ar-Rayĥānu
And the grain covered with husk and the spices.
105:5
فَجَعَلَهُمْ كَعَصْف ٍ مَأْكُول ٍ
Faja`alahum Ka`aşfin Ma'kūlin
Until He turned them like devoured hay.
