Dal-Siin-Siin
/Dal-Siin-Ya
To hide, bury, conceal, insinuate, thrust.
According to Raghib and other grammarians, the root is Dal-Siin-Ya, which means 'to corrupt'.

يَتَوَارَى مِنَ الْقَوْمِ مِنْ سُوءِ مَا بُشِّرَ بِهِ~ِ أَيُمْسِكُه ُُ عَلَى هُونٍ أَمْ يَدُسُّه ُُ فِي التُّرَابِ أَلاَ سَاءَ مَا يَحْكُمُونَ
Yatawārá Mina Al-Qawmi Min Sū'i Mā Bushshira Bihi 'Ayumsikuhu `Alá Hūnin 'Am Yadussuhu Fī At-Turābi 'Alā Sā'a Mā Yaĥkumūna
He hides from his people because of the bad news he has received. Shall he keep her with dishonor, or bury her in the sand? Miserable indeed is how they judge!

Wa Qad Khāba Man Dassāhā
And failing is the one who hides it.
