فَأَرْسَلْنَا عَلَيْهِمُ الطُّوفَانَ وَالْجَرَادَ وَالْقُمَّلَ وَالضَّفَادِعَ وَالدَّمَ آيَات ٍ مُفَصَّلاَت ٍ فَاسْتَكْبَرُوا وَكَانُوا قَوْما ً مُجْرِمِينَ
Fa'arsalnā `Alayhimu Aţ-Ţūfāna Wa Al-Jarāda Wa Al-Qummala Wa AĐ-Đafādi`a Wa Ad-Dama 'Āyātin Mufaşşalātin Fāstakbarū Wa Kānū Qawmāan Mujrimīna
So We sent them the flood, and the locust, and the lice, and the frogs, and the blood; all detailed signs; but they turned arrogant, they were a criminal people.
54:7
خُشَّعاً أَبْصَارُهُمْ يَخْرُجُونَ مِنَ الأَجْدَاثِ كَأَنَّهُمْ جَرَاد ٌ مُنتَشِر ٌ
Khushsha`āan 'Abşāruhum Yakhrujūna Mina Al-'Ajdāthi Ka'annahum Jarādun Muntashirun
With their eyes humiliated, they come out of the graves like scattered locusts.
