to go a side, swerve from, render unhappy (circumstances), blow oblique (wind), defend, protect, incline, hurt, throw a thing away, deviate, turn aside.

23:74
وَإِنَّ الَّذِينَ لاَ يُؤْمِنُونَ بِالآخِرَةِ عَنِ الصِّرَاطِ لَنَاكِبُونَ
Wa 'Inna Al-Ladhīna Lā Yu'uminūna Bil-'Ākhirati `Ani Aş-Şirāţi Lanākibūna
And those who do not believe in the Hereafter, they are deviating away from the path.

هُوَ الَّذِي جَعَلَ لَكُمُ الأَرْضَ ذَلُولا ً فَامْشُوا فِي مَنَاكِبِهَا وَكُلُوا مِنْ رِزْقِه ِِ وَإِلَيْهِ النُّشُورُ
Huwa Al-Ladhī Ja`ala Lakumu Al-'ArĐa Dhalūlāan Fāmshū Fī Manākibihā Wa Kulū Min Rizqihi Wa 'Ilayhi An-Nushūru
He is the One who made the earth subservient for you. So roam its paths, and eat from His provisions; and to Him is the final summoning.
