11:91
قَالُوا يَا شُعَيْبُ مَا نَفْقَه ُُ كَثِيرا ً مِمَّا تَقُولُ وَإِنَّا لَنَرَاكَ فِينَا ضَعِيفا ً وَلَوْلاَ رَهْطُكَ لَرَجَمْنَاكَ وَمَا أَنْتَ عَلَيْنَا بِعَزِيز ٍ
Qālū Yā Shu`aybu Mā Nafqahu Kathīrāan Mimmā Taqūlu Wa 'Innā Lanarāka Fīnā Đa`īfāan Wa Lawlā Rahţuka Larajamnāka Wa Mā 'Anta `Alaynā Bi`azīzin
They said: "O Shu'ayb, we do not understand most of what you say, and we see you as weak among us; and if it were not for who your family is, we would have stoned you, and you would not be proud against us."
11:92
قَالَ يَا قَوْمِ أَرَهْطِي أَعَزُّ عَلَيْكُمْ مِنَ اللَّهِ وَاتَّخَذْتُمُوه ُُ وَرَاءَكُمْ ظِهْرِيّا ً إِنَّ رَبِّي بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ مُحِيط ٌ
Qāla Yā Qawmi 'Arahţī 'A`azzu `Alaykum Mina Allāhi Wa Attakhadhtumūhu Warā'akum žihrīyāan 'Inna Rabbī Bimā Ta`malūna Muĥīţun
He said: "My people, is who my family is more important to you than God, while you have cast Him away behind your backs? My Lord is encompassing what you do."
27:48
وَكَانَ فِي الْمَدِينَةِ تِسْعَةُ رَهْط ٍ يُفْسِدُونَ فِي الأَرْضِ وَلاَ يُصْلِحُونَ
Wa Kāna Fī Al-Madīnati Tis`atu Rahţin Yufsidūna Fī Al-'ArĐi Wa Lā Yuşliĥūna
And in the city were nine ruffians who were causing corruption in the land, and they were not reforming.
