| Arabic | | وَبَرَزُوا لِلَّهِ جَمِيعًا فَقَالَ الضُّعَفَاءُ لِلَّذِينَ اسْتَكْبَرُوا إِنَّا كُنَّا لَكُمْ تَبَعًا فَهَلْ أَنتُم مُّغْنُونَ عَنَّا مِنْ عَذَابِ اللَّهِ مِن شَيْءٍ قَالُوا لَوْ هَدَانَا اللَّهُ لَهَدَيْنَاكُمْ سَوَاءٌ عَلَيْنَا أَجَزِعْنَا أَمْ صَبَرْنَا مَا لَنَا مِن مَّحِيص |  |

| And they will come forth | wabarazū | وَبَرَزُوا | ب ر ز | |
| before Allah | lillahi | لِلَّهِ | ا ل ه | |
| all together, | jamīʿan | جَمِيعًا | ج م ع | |
| then will say | faqāla | فَقَالَ | ق و ل | |
| the weak | l-ḍuʿafāu | الضُّعَفَاءُ | ض ع ف | |
| to those who | lilladhīna | لِلَّذِينَ | ا ل ل ذ ى | |
| were arrogant, | is'takbarū | اسْتَكْبَرُوا | ك ب ر | |
| "Indeed we, | innā | إِنَّا | ا ن ن | |
| followers, | tabaʿan | تَبَعًا | ت ب ع | |
| the one who avails | mugh'nūna | مُغْنُونَ | غ ن ى | |
| (the) punishment | ʿadhābi | عَذَابِ | ع ذ ب | |
| (of) Allah | l-lahi | اللَّهِ | ا ل ه | |
| anything?" | shayin | شَيْءٍ | ش ى ء | |
| They will say, | qālū | قَالُوا | ق و ل | |
| had guided us | hadānā | هَدَانَا | ه د ى | |
| surely we would have guided | lahadaynākum | لَهَدَيْنَاكُمْ | ه د ى | |
| (It is) same | sawāon | سَوَاءٌ | س و ى | |
| for us | ʿalaynā | عَلَيْنَا | ع ل ى | |
| whether we show intolerance | ajaziʿ'nā | أَجَزِعْنَا | ج ز ع | |
| we are patient, | ṣabarnā | صَبَرْنَا | ص ب ر | |
| place of escape." | maḥīṣin | مَحِيصٍ | ح ى ص | |
