| Arabic | | قَالَ إِنَّهُ يَقُولُ إِنَّهَا بَقَرَةٌ لَّا ذَلُولٌ تُثِيرُ الْأَرْضَ وَلَا تَسْقِي الْحَرْثَ مُسَلَّمَةٌ لَّا شِيَةَ فِيهَا قَالُوا الْآنَ جِئْتَ بِالْحَقِّ فَذَبَحُوهَا وَمَا كَادُوا يَفْعَلُون |  |

| They said, | qālū | قَالُوا | ق و ل | |
| you have come | ji'ta | جِئْتَ | ج ى ا | |
| with the truth." | bil-ḥaqi | بِالْحَقِّ | ح ق ق | |
| So they slaughtered it, | fadhabaḥūhā | فَذَبَحُوهَا | ذ ب ح | |
