| (and) the believing women, | l-mu'mināti | الْمُؤْمِنَاتِ | ا م ن | |
| are cursed | luʿinū | لُعِنُوا | ل ع ن | |
| the world | l-dun'yā | الدُّنْيَا | د ن و | |
| and the Hereafter. | wal-ākhirati | وَالْءَاخِرَةِ | ا خ ر | |
| And for them | walahum | وَلَهُمْ | ل | |
| (is) a punishment | ʿadhābun | عَذَابٌ | ع ذ ب | |
| great. | ʿaẓīmun | عَظِيمٌ | ع ظ م | |
