| Arabic | | فَآتِ ذَا الْقُرْبَىٰ حَقَّهُ وَالْمِسْكِينَ وَابْنَ السَّبِيلِ ذَٰلِكَ خَيْرٌ لِّلَّذِينَ يُرِيدُونَ وَجْهَ اللَّهِ وَأُولَٰئِكَ هُمُ الْمُفْلِحُون |  |

| the relative | | l-qur'bā | | الْقُرْبَى | | ق ر ب | |
| his right | | ḥaqqahu | | حَقَّهُ | | ح ق ق | |
| and the poor | | wal-mis'kīna | | وَالْمِسْكِينَ | | س ك ن | |
| and the | | wa-ib'na | | وَابْنَ | | ب ن و | |
| wayfarer. | | l-sabīli | | السَّبِيلِ | | س ب ل | |
| (is) best | | khayrun | | خَيْرٌ | | خ ى ر | |
| for those who | | lilladhīna | | لِلَّذِينَ | | ا ل ل ذ ى | |
| desire | | yurīdūna | | يُرِيدُونَ | | ر و د | |
| (the) Countenance | | wajha | | وَجْهَ | | و ج ه | |
| (of) Allah. | | l-lahi | | اللَّهِ | | ا ل ه | |
| And those, | | wa-ulāika | | وَأُولَئِكَ | | ا و ل ا ء | |
| (are) the successful ones. | | l-muf'liḥūna | | الْمُفْلِحُونَ | | ف ل ح | |
