| Arabic | | وَلَئِن سَأَلْتَهُم مَّنْ خَلَقَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ لَيَقُولُنَّ اللَّهُ قُلِ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ بَلْ أَكْثَرُهُمْ لَا يَعْلَمُون |  |

| And if | | wala-in | | وَلَئِنْ | | ل ا ن | |
| you ask them, | | sa-altahum | | سَأَلْتَهُمْ | | س ا ل | |
| created | | khalaqa | | خَلَقَ | | خ ل ق | |
| the heavens | | l-samāwāti | | السَّمَاوَاتِ | | س م و | |
| and the earth?" | | wal-arḍa | | وَالْأَرْضَ | | ا ر ض | |
| They will surely say, | | layaqūlunna | | لَيَقُولُنَّ | | ق و ل | |
| "Allah." | | l-lahu | | اللَّهُ | | ا ل ه | |
| "All praises | | l-ḥamdu | | الْحَمْدُ | | ح م د | |
| (are) for Allah." | | lillahi | | لِلَّهِ | | ا ل ه | |
| most of them | | aktharuhum | | أَكْثَرُهُمْ | | ك ث ر | |
| know. | | yaʿlamūna | | يَعْلَمُونَ | | ع ل م | |
