| Arabic | | وَإِذَا حَضَرَ الْقِسْمَةَ أُولُو الْقُرْبَىٰ وَالْيَتَامَىٰ وَالْمَسَاكِينُ فَارْزُقُوهُم مِّنْهُ وَقُولُوا لَهُمْ قَوْلًا مَّعْرُوفً |  |

| And when | | wa-idhā | | وَإِذَا | | ا ذ ا | |
| (at) the (time of) division | | l-qis'mata | | الْقِسْمَةَ | | ق س م | |
| the relatives | | l-qur'bā | | الْقُرْبَى | | ق ر ب | |
| and the orphans | | wal-yatāmā | | وَالْيَتَامَى | | ى ت م | |
| and the poor, | | wal-masākīnu | | وَالْمَسَاكِينُ | | س ك ن | |
| then provide them | | fa-ur'zuqūhum | | فَارْزُقُوهُمْ | | ر ز ق | |
| and speak | | waqūlū | | وَقُولُوا | | ق و ل | |
| (of) kindness. | | maʿrūfan | | مَعْرُوفًا | | ع ر ف | |
