| Arabic | | يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا إِذَا نُودِيَ لِلصَّلَاةِ مِن يَوْمِ الْجُمُعَةِ فَاسْعَوْا إِلَىٰ ذِكْرِ اللَّهِ وَذَرُوا الْبَيْعَ ذَٰلِكُمْ خَيْرٌ لَّكُمْ إِن كُنتُمْ تَعْلَمُون |  |

| then hasten | fa-is'ʿaw | فَاسْعَوْا | س ع ى | |
| (the) remembrance | dhik'ri | ذِكْرِ | ذ ك ر | |
| (of) Allah | l-lahi | اللَّهِ | ا ل ه | |
| and leave | wadharū | وَذَرُوا | و ذ ر | |
| the business. | l-bayʿa | الْبَيْعَ | ب ى ع | |
| That | dhālikum | ذَلِكُمْ | ذ ل ك | |
| (is) better | khayrun | خَيْرٌ | خ ى ر | |
| know. | taʿlamūna | تَعْلَمُونَ | ع ل م | |
