| Arabic | | وَاذْكُر رَّبَّكَ فِي نَفْسِكَ تَضَرُّعًا وَخِيفَةً وَدُونَ الْجَهْرِ مِنَ الْقَوْلِ بِالْغُدُوِّ وَالْآصَالِ وَلَا تَكُن مِّنَ الْغَافِلِين |  |

| and (in) the evenings. | wal-āṣāli | وَالْءَاصَالِ | ا ص ل | |
| the heedless. | l-ghāfilīna | الْغَافِلِينَ | غ ف ل | |
