| Arabic | | إِنَّ رَبَّكُمُ اللَّهُ الَّذِي خَلَقَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ فِي سِتَّةِ أَيَّامٍ ثُمَّ اسْتَوَىٰ عَلَى الْعَرْشِ يُغْشِي اللَّيْلَ النَّهَارَ يَطْلُبُهُ حَثِيثًا وَالشَّمْسَ وَالْقَمَرَ وَالنُّجُومَ مُسَخَّرَاتٍ بِأَمْرِهِ أَلَا لَهُ الْخَلْقُ وَالْأَمْرُ تَبَارَكَ اللَّهُ رَبُّ الْعَالَمِين |  |

| the night | al-layla | اللَّيْلَ | ل ى ل | |
| (with) the day | l-nahāra | النَّهَارَ | ن ه ر | |
| seeking it | yaṭlubuhu | يَطْلُبُهُ | ط ل ب | |
| rapidly | ḥathīthan | حَثِيثًا | ح ث ث | |
| and the sun | wal-shamsa | وَالشَّمْسَ | ش م س | |
| and the moon | wal-qamara | وَالْقَمَرَ | ق م ر | |
| and the stars - | wal-nujūma | وَالنُّجُومَ | ن ج م | |
| subjected | musakharātin | مُسَخَّرَاتٍ | س خ ر | |
| by His command. | bi-amrihi | بِأَمْرِهِ | ا م ر | |
| Unquestionably | alā | أَلَا | ل ا | |
| (is) the creation | l-khalqu | الْخَلْقُ | خ ل ق | |
| and the command, | wal-amru | وَالْأَمْرُ | ا م ر | |
| blessed | tabāraka | تَبَارَكَ | ب ر ك | |
| (is) Allah, | l-lahu | اللَّهُ | ا ل ه | |
| (of) the worlds. | l-ʿālamīna | الْعَالَمِينَ | ع ل م | |
