| Arabic | | إِنَّ عِدَّةَ الشُّهُورِ عِندَ اللَّهِ اثْنَا عَشَرَ شَهْرًا فِي كِتَابِ اللَّهِ يَوْمَ خَلَقَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ مِنْهَا أَرْبَعَةٌ حُرُمٌ ذَٰلِكَ الدِّينُ الْقَيِّمُ فَلَا تَظْلِمُوا فِيهِنَّ أَنفُسَكُمْ وَقَاتِلُوا الْمُشْرِكِينَ كَافَّةً كَمَا يُقَاتِلُونَكُمْ كَافَّةً وَاعْلَمُوا أَنَّ اللَّهَ مَعَ الْمُتَّقِين |  |

| (is) the religion | l-dīnu | الدِّينُ | د ى ن | |
| the upright, | l-qayimu | الْقَيِّمُ | ق و م | |
| wrong | taẓlimū | تَظْلِمُوا | ظ ل م | |
| therein | fīhinna | فِيهِنَّ | ف ى | |
| yourselves. | anfusakum | أَنْفُسَكُمْ | ن ف س | |
| And fight | waqātilū | وَقَاتِلُوا | ق ت ل | |
| the polytheists | l-mush'rikīna | الْمُشْرِكِينَ | ش ر ك | |
| all together, | kāffatan | كَافَّةً | ك ف ف | |
| they fight you | yuqātilūnakum | يُقَاتِلُونَكُمْ | ق ت ل | |
| all together. | kāffatan | كَافَّةً | ك ف ف | |
| And know | wa-iʿ'lamū | وَاعْلَمُوا | ع ل م | |
| the righteous. | l-mutaqīna | الْمُتَّقِينَ | و ق ى | |
