4:1  O you (Yaa Ayyuha) mankind (En'Naasu), reverence (Ettaquu') your LORD (Rabba-kumu); the One who (Ellazii) created you (Khalaqa-kum) from (Min) one (Waahidatin) soul (Naf'sin) and (Wa) created (Khalaqa) its mate (Zaw'ja-ha) from it (Min'ha) and transmitted (Battha) from both of them (Min'humaa) many (Kathiiran) men (Rijaalan) and women (Nisaa'an), so (Wa) beware of GOD (Ettaquu'llaha), whom (Ellazii) you ask about (Tasaa'aluuna Bihi) as well as (Wa) the kinship (El'Ar'haama). Indeed, GOD (Innallaha) is watching (Raqiibaa) over you (Ålai'kum).
4:2  And (Wa) give (Aatuu') the orphans (El'Yataamaa) their properties (Am'waala-hum) and do not (Walaa) exchange (Tatabaddaluu') the bad (El'Khabiitha) for (Bi) the good (Ettoyyibi), nor (Walaa) shall you consume (Ta'kuluu') their properties (Am'waala-hum') into (ilaa) your properties (Am'waali-kum'). Indeed, it (Innahu) is (Kaana) a great (Kabiiraa) sin (Huuban).
4:3  And (Wa) if (In') you (p) fear (Khif'tum) that you cannot (Alla) be equitable (Tuq'situ') regarding (Fii) the orphans (El'Yataamaa), then (Fa) marry (Enkihuu') whoever (Maa) pleases you (Toaba Lakum) among (Mina) the women (4:127) (En'Nisaai)*, by twos (double) (Math'naa), by threes (triple) (Thulaatha), and (Wa) by fours(quadruple) (Rubaa'ä); but (Fa) if (In) you fear (Khif'tum) that you cannot (Alla) act justly (4:129) (Ta'dilu'), then (Fa) one (Waahidatan) or (Aw') those (Maa) your right hands (Ai'maanu-kum) possess (Malakat'), that (Zaalika) is the least (Ad'naa) that you will not (Alla) deviate (Tauulu').
4:4  And (Wa) give (Aatu') the women (adult females) (En'Nisaa'a) gifts (Nih'latan) as their dowers (Soduqaati-hinna), and (Fa) if (In) they make pleasant to you (Tib'na Lakum) anything (Än Shai'in) priceless (Naf'saan) thereof (Min'hu), then (Fa) consume it (Kuluu-hu) pleasantly (Haniian) and healthily (Mariiaa).
4:5  And (Wa) do not (Walaa) give (Tu'tu') the foolish (Es'Sufahaa'a) your properties (Am'waala-kumu) which (Ellatii) GOD has made (Jaäla-llahu) standing (Qiyaaman) for you (Lakum), but (Wa) provide for them (Er'zuquu-hum) therein (Fiiha), clothe them (Ek'suu-hum'), and (Wa) speak to them (Quulu' Lahum) speech (Qaw'lan) of kindness (Ma'ruufaa).
4:6  And (Wa) test (Eb'talu') the orphans (El'Yataamaa) until (Hattaa) when (Izaa) they reach (Balagu') marriage (En'Nikaaha). Then (Fa) if (In') you perceive (Aanas'tum) maturity (Rush'dan) from them (Min'hum'), then (Fa) deliver (Ed'fauu') their properties (Am'waala-hum) to them (ilai'him), but (Wa) do not (Laa) consume them (Ta'kuluu-haa) excessively (Is'raafan) and quickly (Bidaaran), lest (An) they grow up (Yak'baru). And (Wa) whoever (Man) is (Kaana) rich (Ganiyyan), then let (Fal') him refrain (Yas'ta'fif'), and whoever (Waman) is needy (Faqiiran), then let (Fal') him consume (Ya'kul') in kindness (Bil' Ma'ruufi). And (Fa) when (Izaa) you deliver (Dafa'tum') their properties (Am'waala-hum') to them (ilai'him'), then (Fa) quote (Ash'hiduu') for them (Älai'him). And (Wa) sufficient is GOD (Kafaa Bi-llahi) as a Reckoner (Hasiibaa).
4:7  For (Li) men (Rijaali) is a share (Nasiibun) of what (Mimma) the parents (El'Waalidaani) and the relatives (El'Aq'rabuuna) bequeathed (Taraka), and (Wa) for (Li) women (nNisaai) is a share (Nasiibun) of what (Mimmaa) the parents (El'Waalidaani) and relatives (Wal' Aq'rabuuna) bequeathed (Taraka), from what (Mimma) is less (Qalla) thereof (Min'hu) or (Aw') more (Kathura); an obligational (Maf'ruudoa) share (Nasiiban).
4:8  And (Wa) when (Izaa) the relatives (U'lul' Qur'baa), the orphans (El'Yatamaa) and the poor people (Wal' Masaakiinu) attend (Hadora) the apportionment (El'Qis'mata), then (Fa) bestow them (Er'zuquu-hum) thereof (Min'hu) and speak to them (Quuluu' Lahum) speech (Qaw'lan) of kindness (Ma'ruufaa).
4:9  And let (Wal') those whom (Ellaziina) if (Law') they had left (Taraku') weak (Diääfan) offspring (Zurriyyatan) behind them (Min Khal'fi-him) fear (Yakh'sha) as they should fear (Khaafu') for them (Älai'him). And let (Fal') them beware of GOD (Yattaquu'llaha) and let (Wal') them say (Yaquuluu') the correct (Sadiidaa) statement (Qaw'lan). (33:70)
4:10  Indeed (Inna), those who (Ellaziina) consume (Ya'kuluuna) the properties (Am'waala) of orphans (El'Yataamaa) unjustly (Zul'man) are only (Innama) consuming (Ya'kuluuna) fire (Naaran) into (Fii) their bellies (Butuuni-him). And (Wa) they will burn (Sa Yas'law'na) in flames (Saeeraa).
4:11  GOD (Ellahu) advises you (p) (Yuusii-kumu) regarding (Fii) your children (Aw'laadi-kum). For the male (Liz' Zakari) is like (Mith'lu) the share (Hazzi) of two females (El'Unthayai'ni). But (Fa) if (In) there are (Kunna) women (Nisaa'an) beyond (Faw'qa) the two females (Eth'natai'ni), then (Fa) for them (Lahunna) is one-third (Thulutha) of what (Maa) is bequeathed (Taraka). And (Wa) if (In) there is (Kaanat') one-female (Waahidatan), then (Fa) for her (Laha) is half (En'Nis'fu). For (Li) one's two parents (Abawai'hi), to (Li) each (Kulli) one (Waahidin) of them (Min'huma) is one-sixth (Es'Sudusu) of what (Mimma) is bequeathed (Taraka), if (In) he has (Kaana Lahu) a child (Waladu). But (Fa) if (In) he does (Yakun) not (Lam) have (Lahu) a child (Waladun), and his two parents (Abawaa-hu) inherits him (Waritha-hu), then (Fa) one-third (Et'thuluthu) for (Li) his mother (Ummi-hi). But (Fa) if (In) he has (Kaana Lahu) brothers (Ikh'watun), then (Fa) one-sixth (Es'Sudus) for (Li) his mother (Ummi-hi). After (Min Ba'di) a legal will (Wasiyyatin) has been prescribed (Yuusii Bihaa) or (Aw') debt (Dai'nin). Your parents (Aabaau-kum) and (Wa) your children (Ab'naau-kum); you do not (Laa) know (Tad'ruuna) which of them (Ayyuhum) is nearest to you (Aq'rabu La-kum) in benefit (Naf'än); an obligation (Fariidotan) from GOD (Minallahi). Indeed, GOD (Innallaha) is (Kaana) Omniscient (Äliiman) and Wise (Hakiimaa).
4:12  And (Wa) for you (Lakum) is half (Nis'fu) of what (Mimma) your spouses (Az'waaju-kum) bequeathed (Taraka), if (In) they had (Yakun Lahunna) no (Lam') children (Waladun). But (Fa) if (In) they have (Kaana Lahunna) a child (Waladun), then (Fa) for you (Lakum) is one-fourth (Er'Rubu-u) of what (Mimma) they bequeathed (Tarak'n), after (Min Ba'di) a legal will (Wasiyyatin) has been prescribed (Yuusiina Bi-haa) or (Aw') debt (Dai'nin). And (Wa) for them (f) (Lahunna) is one-fourth (Er'Rubu'u) of what (Mimma) you bequeathed (Tarak'tum'), if (In) you had (Yakun Lakum) no (Lam) children (Waladun). But (Fa) if (In) you have (Kaana Lakum) a child (Waladun), then (Fa) for them (Lahunna) is one-eighth (Et'thumunu) of what (Mimma) you bequeathed (Tarak'tum), after (Min Ba'di) a legal will (2:240) (Wasiyyatin) has been prescribed (Tu'suuna Bihaa) or (Aw') debt (Dai'nin). If (In) a man (Rajulun) had (Kaana) no parents or children (Kalaalatan) inheriting (Yuurathu) or (Awi) a wife (Em'ra'atun), but (Wa) has (Lahu) a brother (Akhun) or (Aw') a sister (Ukh'tun), then (Fa) for (Li) each (Kulli) one (Waahidin) of them (Min'huma) is one-sixth (Es'Sudusu). But (Fa) if (In) they are (Kaanuu') more (Ak'thara) than (Min) that (Zaalika), then (Fa) they (Hum) will be partners (Shurakaau) in (Fii) one-third (Et'thuluthi), after (Min Ba'di) a legal will (Wasiyyatin) has been prescribed (Yuusaa Bi-haa) or (Aw') debt (Dai'ni) without (Gai'ra) damage (Mudoarrin); a legal will (2:180) (Wasiiyyatan) from GOD (Minallahi). For (Wa) GOD (Ellahu) is Omniscient (Äliimun) and Clement (Haliimu).
4:13  These (Til'ka) are the limits of GOD (Huduudu-llahi), and whoever (Waman) obeys GOD (Yutie-llaha) and (Wa) HIS messenger (Rasuula-hu) will be admitted (Yud'khil'hu) into gardens (Jannaatin) beneath which (Min Tah'ti-ha) rivers (El'An'haaru) flow (Taj'rii), eternally (Khaalidiina) therein (Fiiha); that (Zaalika) is a great (El'Äziim) achievement (El'Faw'zu).
4:14  And (Wa) whoever (Man) disobeys GOD (Ya'si-llaha) and (Wa) HIS messenger (Rasuula-hu) and trespasses (Yataädda) HIS limits (Huduuda-hu), he will be admitted (Yud'khil'hu) into fire (Naaran); eternally (Khaalidan) therein (Fiiha), and (Wa) he will have (Lahu) a humiliating (Muhiin) punishment (Äzaabun).
4:15  As for (Wa) those who (f) (Ellaatii) commit (Ya'tiina) obscenity (El'Faahishata) among (Min') your women (Nisaai-kum), hence (Fa) four (Ar'ba'ätan) of you (Minkum) shall testify (Es'tash'hidu') against them (f) (Älai'hinna). Thus (Fa) if (In) they testify (Shahidu'), then (Fa) restrain them (f) (Am'sikuu-hunna) in the houses (Fiil' Buyuuti) until (Hattaa) death (El'Maw'tu) takes them away (f) (Yatawaffaa-hunna) or (Aw') GOD makes (Yaj'äla-llahu) a way (Sabiila) for them (Lahunna).
4:16  As for (Wa) the two who (m) (Ellazaani) commit it (obscenity) (Ya'tiyaani-ha) among you (Min'kum), hence (Fa) injure them both (24:2) (Aazuu-humaa). But (Fa) if (In) they repent (Taabaa) and (Wa) reform (As'laha), then (Fa) turn away from them both (A'riduu' Än'huma). Indeed, GOD (Innallaha) is (Kaana) Compassionate (Tawwaaban) and Merciful (Rahiimaa).
4:17  GOD (Ellahi) only (Innamaa) forgives (Ettaw'batu Äla) those who (Lillaziina) do (Ya'maluuna) evil (Es'Suwaa'a) out of (Bi) ignorance (Jahaalatin) and (Thumma) repent (Yatuubuuna) afterwards (Min Qariibin). For (Fa) those (U'laaika) are the ones whom (-him) GOD (Ellahu) will forgive (Yatuubu Älai-). And (Wa) GOD (Ellahu) is (Kaana) Omniscient (Äliiman) and Wise (Hakiimaa).
4:18  But (Wa) not (Lai'sati) the repentance (Ettaw'batu) of those who (Lillaziina) do (Ya'maluuna) bad deeds (Es'Sayyiaati) until (Hattaa) when (Izaa) death (El'Maw'tu) appears to (Hadora) one of them (Ahada-humu), he says (Qaala), "Indeed, I (Innii) have repented (Tub'tu) now (El'Aana)," nor (Walaa) of those who (Ellaziina) die (Yamuutuuna) while (Wa) they (Hum) are disbelievers (Kuffaarun). Those (U'laaika), We have prepared (A'tad'na) for them (Lahum) a painful (Aliimaa) punishment (Äzaaban).
4:19  O you (Yaa Ayyuha) who (Ellaziina) believe (Aamanu'), it is not (Laa) lawful (Yahillu) for you (Lakum) to (An) inherit (Tarithuu') the women (En'Nisaai) unwillingly (Kar'haan), nor (Walaa) shall you prevent them (Ta'duluu'hunna) to (Li) take away (Taz'habuu' Bi) some (Ba'di) of what (Maa) you gave them (Aatai'tumuu-hunna) unless (illaa An) they have commited (Ya'tiina Bi) a proven (Mubayyinatin) adultery (Faahishatin). So (Wa) associate with them (Ääshiruu-hunna) in kindness (Bil' Ma'ruuf), but (Fa) if (In) you dislike them (Karih'tumuu-hunna), then (Fa) perhaps (Äsaa) you dislike (Tak'rahu') something (Shai'an) wherein (Fiihi) GOD has placed (Yaj'äla-llahu) much (Kathiiraa) good (Khai'ran).
4:20  And (Wa) if (In) you intended (Arad'ttumu) to replace (Es'tib'daala) a wife (spouse) (Zaw'jin) in place of (Makaana) another wife (Zaw'jin), and you have given (Aatai'tum) one of them (Ih'daa-hunna) a quintal (Qintoaran), then do not (Falaa) take (Ta'khuzuu') anything (Shai'an) from it (Min'hu). Will you take it (A-ta'khuzuuna-hu) slanderously (Buh'taanan) as (Wa) a clear (Mubiinaa) sin (Ith'man)?
4:21  And (Wa) how (Kai'fa) could you take it (Ta'khuzuunahu) while (Wa) you have (Qad') contributed to (Af'doa ilaa) each other (Ba'du-kum Ba'din), and (Wa) they have taken (Akhaz'naa) a heavy (Galiizoa) covenant (Miithaaqan) from you (Minkum)?
4:22  And (Wa) do not (Laa) marry (Tankihu') those (Maa) your fathers (Aabaau-kum) had married (Nakaha) among (Mina) women (En'Nisaai), except (illa) what (Maa) has already (Qad') preceded (Salafa). Indeed, it (Innahu) is (Kaana) an obscenity (Faahishtan) and (Wa) an abhorrence (Maq'tan) and (Wa) an evil (Saa'a) way (Sabiilan).
4:23  Unlawful to you (p) (Hurrimat' Älai'kum) are your mothers (Ummahaatu-kum), your daughters (Banaatu-kum), your sisters (Akhawaatu-kum), your paternal aunts (Ämmaatu-kum), your maternal aunts (Khaalaatu-kum), the daughters of your brother (Banaatul' Akhi), the daughters of your sister (Banaatul' Ukh'ti), your mothers (Ummahaatu-kumu) who (Ellaatii) nurtured you (Ar'da'na-kum) and your sisters (Akhawaatu-kum) from (Mina) breast-feeding (Er'Radoaäti), the mothers of your women (wives) (Ummahaatu Nisaai-kum), your foster-children (Rabaaibu-kumu) who (Ellaatii) are under (Fii) your guardianship (Hujuuri-kum) from (Min) your women (wives) (Nisaai-kumu) whom (Ellaatii) you have entered into them (Dakhal'tum Bi-hinna), but (Fa) if (In) you have not (Lam' Takuunu') entered into them (Dakhal'tum Bi-hinna), then (Fa) there is no (Laa) blame on you (Junaaha Älai'kum), as well as (Wa) the wives (Halaailu) of your sons (Ab'naai-kumu) those (Ellaziina) from (Min') your loins (As'laabi-kum), and to (An) combine (Taj'mau') two sisters (El'Ukh'tai'ni) together (Bai'na), except (illa) what (Maa) has already (Qad') preceded (Salafa). Indeed, GOD (Innallaha) is (Kaana) Forgiving (Gafuura) and Merciful (Rahiimaa).
4:24  And (Wa) the married (El'Muh'sonaatu) among (Mina) women (En'Nisaai), except (illa) those (Maa) your right hands (Ai'maanu-kum) possess (Malakat'); as a decree of GOD (Kitaaba-llahi) to you (Älai'kum’). And (Wa) lawful for you (Uhilla Lakum) is what (Maa) is beyond (Waraa'a) that (Zaalikum) to (An) seek (Tab'tagu') chaste women (Muh'siniina) with (Bi) your wealth (Am'waali-kum), not (Gai'ra) as fornicators (Masaafihiina). And (Fa) whomever (Maa) you relish (Es'tam'ta'tum) among them (Min'hunna) with it (Bihi), then (Fa) give them (Aatuu-hunna) their fees (Ujuura-hunna) as an obligation (Fariidotan). And (Wa) there is no (Laa) blame (Junaaha) on you (p) (Älai'kum) concerning what (Fiimaa) you have agreed (Taraadoi'tum) thereby (Bihi) after (Min Ba'di) the obligation (El'Fariidoti). Indeed, GOD (Innallaha) is (Kaana) Omniscient (Äliiman) and Wise (Hakiimaa).
4:25  And (Wa) whoever (Man) among you (Minkum') cannot (Lam' Yas'tati') afford (Tow'lan) to (An) marry (Yankiha) chaste (El'Muh'sonaati) believing women (El'Mu'minaati), then (Fa) from (Min) those (Maa) your right hands (Ai'maanu-kum) possess (Malakat') among (Min) your young (Fatayaati-kumu) believing women (El'Mu'minaati). GOD (Ellahu) is aware of (A'lamu Bi) your faith (iimaani-kum), you are of each other (Ba'du-kum Min Ba'din). So (Fa) marry them (Enkihuu-hunna) by (Bi) the permission (Iz'ni) of their family (f) (Ah'li-hinna) and (Wa) give them (Aatuu-hunna) their fees (Ujuura-hunna) in the service (Bil' Ma'ruufi) of chaste women (El'Muh'sonaatin), not (Gai'ra) as fornicators (Musaafihaatin) nor (Walaa) to be taken (Muttakhizaati) as secret lovers (Akh'daan). And (Fa) when (Izaa) they are married (Uh'sinna), then (Fa) if (In') they commit (Atai'na Bi) adultery (Faahishatin), then (Fa) upon them (Älai'hinna) is half (Nis'fu) of (Mina) the punishment (El'Äzaabi) which (Maa) is upon (Älaa) chaste women (El'Muh'sonaati). That (Zaalika) is for whoever (Liman') fears (Khashiya) distress (El'Änata) among you (Minkum'), but (Wa) to (An) be patient (Tas'biru') is better (Khai'run) for you (Lakum). And (Wa) GOD (Ellahu) is Forgiving (Gafuurun) and Merciful (Rahiim).
4:26  GOD intends (Yuriidu-llahu) to (Li) clarify (Yubayyina) to you (Lakum) and (Wa) guide you (Yah'diya-kum') to the examples (3:137) (Sunana) of those (Ellaziina) before you (Min Qab'li-kum) and to forgive you (Yatuuba Älai'kum). And (Wa) GOD (Ellahu) is Omniscient (Äliimun) and Wise (Hakiim).
4:27  And (Wa) GOD (Ellahu) intends (Yuriidu) to (An) forgive you (Yatuuba Älai'kum), but (Wa) those who (Ellaziina) follow (Yattabiuuna) desires (Es'Shahawaati) intend (Yuriidu) to (An) incline to (Tamiilu') a terrible (Äziimaa) inclination (Mai'lan).
4:28  GOD intends (Yuriidu-llahu) to (An) lighten for you (Yukhaffifa Änkum’); for (Wa) the human being (El' Insaanu) was created (Khuliqa) weak (Doeefan).
4:29  O you (Yaa Ayyuha) who (Ellaziina) believe (Aamanu'), do not (Laa) consume (Ta'kuluu') your assets (wealth) (Am'waala-kum) between you (Bai'nakum) in (Fii) falsehood (El'Baatili), unless (illaa An) you do (Takuuna) business (Tijaaratan) by (Än) coming to terms (Taraadin) among you (Minkum'). And (Wa) do not (Laa) kill (Taq'tuluu') yourselves (each other) (Anfusa-kum’). Indeed, GOD (Innallaha) is (Kaana) merciful to you (Rahiiman Bi-kum). (2:188)
4:30  And (Wa) whoever (Man) does (Yaf'äl) that (Zaalika) in aggression (Ud'waanaan) and injustice (Zul'maan), then (Fa) We will (Saw'fa) burn him (Nus'lii-hi) in fire (Naaran). And (Wa) that (Zaalika) is (Kaana) easy (Yasiiraa) for GOD (Älaallahi).
4:31  If (In) you avoid (Taj'tanibu') the major sins (Kabaa'ira) which (Maa) you are forbidden from (Tun'haw'na Än'hu), We will atone (Nukaffir') your bad deeds (Sayyiaati-kum) for you (Änkum) and (Wa) admit you (Nud'khil'kum) into an honourable (Kariimaa) admittance (Mud'khalan).
4:32  And (Wa) do not (Laa) wish for (Tatamannaw' Bihi) what (Maa) GOD has favoured (Faddola-llahu) some of you (p) (Ba'do-kum) over (Älaa) others (Ba'di). For men (Lir' Rijaali) is a share (Nasiibun) of what (Mimmaa) they have earned (Ek'tasabu'), and (Wa) for women (Lin' Nisaai) is a share (Nasiibun) of what (Mimmaa) they have earned (Ek'tasab'na); so implore GOD (Was'alu'llaha) for (Min) HIS favour (Fad'li-hi). Indeed, GOD (Innallaha) is (Kaana) aware of (Äliimaa Bi) all (Kulli) things (Shai'in).
4:33  And (Wa) for (Li) each (Kullin), We have made (Jaäl'naa) heirs (Mawaaliya) of what (Mimma) the parents (El'Waalidaani) and the relatives (Wal' Aq'rabuuna) bequeathed (Taraka), and those (Ellaziina) your right hands (Ai'maanu-kum) have convened (Äqadat'), so (Fa) give them (Aatuu-hum’) their share (Nasiiba-hum’). Indeed, GOD (Innallaha) is (Kaana) witnessing (Shahiidaa) over (Älaa) all (Kulli) things (Shai'in).
4:34  Men (Er'Rijaalu) are guardians (Qawwaamuuna) over (Älaa) women (En'Nisaai) because of what (Bimaa) GOD favours (Faddola-llahu) some of them over others (Ba'do-hum Älaa Ba'din) and (Wa) because of what (Bimaa) they spend (Anfaqu') from (Min') their wealth (Am'waali-him’). Thus (Fa) the righteous women (Es'Soalihaatu) will obediently (Qaanitaatun) guard (Haafizoatun) in their absence (Lil' Gai'bi) by what (Bimaa) GOD maintains (Hafizo-llahu). As for (Wa) those whom (f) (Ellaatii) you fear (Takhaafuuna) their discord (Nushuuza-hunna), then (Fa) admonish them 1 (Ezuu-hunna), and then (Fa) abandon them (Eh'juruu-hunna) in (Fii) beds 2 (El'Madoajie) and (Wa) renounce them 3 (Ed'ribuu-hunna); but (Fa) if (In') they obey you (p) (Ato'na-kum’), then do not (Falaa) seek (Tab'gu') a way (Sabiila) against them (f) (Älaihinna). Indeed, GOD (Innallaha) is (Kaana) Supreme (Aliyyan) and Magnificient (Kabiiraa).
4:35  And (Wa) if (In') you fear (Khif'tum) dissension (Shiqaaqa) between them both (the married couple) (Bai'nahimaa), then (Fa) send (Eb'äthu') an arbitrator (Hakaman) from (Min') his family (Ah'li-hi) and (Wa) an arbitrator (Hakaman) from (Min') her family (Ah'li-haa). If (In) they intend (Yuriidaa) to reconcile between themselves (Is'laahan Bai'na-humaa), GOD will grant success (Yuwaffiqi-llahu); indeed, GOD (Innallaha) is (Kaana) Omniscient (Äliiman) and Cognizant (Khabiiraa).
4:36  Worship GOD (E'budu'llaha) and do not (Walaa) associate (Tush'riku') anything (Shai'an) with HIM (Bihi); and be good to (Ih'saanan Bi) the parents (El'Waalidai'ni), and (Wa) to (Bi) the relatives (Ziil' Qur'baa), the orphans (El'Yataamaa), the poor people (El'Masaakiini), the neighbours (El'Jaari) of the relatives (Ziil' Qur'baa), the side neighbours (El'Jaaril' Junubi), the friend (Es'Soahibi) by the side (Bil' Janbi), the wayfarer (Eb'ni Es'Sabiili) and those (Wamaa) your right hands (Ai'maanu-kum) possess (Malakat'). Indeed, GOD (Innallaha) does not (Laa) like (Yuhibbu) those who (Man) are (Kaana) arrogant (Mukh'taalan) and proud (Fakhuuraa),
4:37  who (Ellaziina) are stingy (Yab'khaluuna) and (Wa) instruct (Ya'muruuna) the people (En'Naasa) to stinginess (Bil' Bukh'li) and conceal (Yak'tumuuna) what (Maa) GOD (Ellahu) has given them (Aataa-humu) from (Min) HIS favour (Fad'li-hi). And (Wa) We have prepared (A'tad'na) a humiliating (Muhiinaa) punishment (Äzaaban) for the disbelievers (Lil' Kaafiriina),
4:38  who (Ellaziina) spend (Yunfiquuna) their wealth (Am'waala-hum) to deceive (Riaa’a) the people (En'Naasi) while (Wa) they do not (Laa) believe (Yu'minuuna) in GOD (Billahi) nor (Walaa) in the Last Day (Bil' Yaw'mil' Aakhir). And (Wa) whoever (Man) has (Yakuni Lahu) the devil (Es'Shai'toanu) as a companion (43:36) (Qariinan), then (Fa) he is an evil (Saa'a) companion (Qariinaa).
4:39  And (Wa) what (Maaza) would be upon them (Älai'him) if (Law') they believed (Aamanu') in GOD (Billahi) and the Last Day (Wal' Yaw'mil' Aakhiri) and disbursed (Anfaqu') from what (Mimmaa) GOD (Ellahu) has provided them (Razaqa-humu)? And (Wa) GOD (Ellahu) is (Kaana) aware of them (Äliima Bi-him).
4:40  Indeed, GOD (Innallaha) does not (Laa) wrong (Yaz'limu) as much as the weight (Mith'qaala) of an atom (Zarratin); while (Wa) if (In) there is (Taku) a good deed (Hasanatan), HE multiplies it (Yudoaef'ha) and (Wa) gives (Yu'ti) a great (Äziimaa) reward (Aj'ran) from HIM (Min Ladun'hu).
4:41  So (Fa) how (Kai'fa) will it be when (Izaa) We bring (Ji'naa Bi) a witness (Shahiidin) from (Min) every (Kulli) nation (Ummati), and (Wa) bring you (s) (Ji'naa Bi-ka) as a witness (16:89) (Shahiida) against (Älaa) these people (Haaulaai)?
4:42  On that day (Yaw'maizin), those who (Ellaziina) disbelieved (Kafaru') and (Wa) disobeyed (Äsowu') the Messenger (Er'Rasuula) will wish (Yawaddu Law') the earth (El'Ar'du) could raze them (Tusawwaa Bi-himu), and (Wa) no (Laa) discourse (Hadiithaa) will be concealed from GOD (Yak'tumuuna-llaha).
4:43  O you (Yaa Ayyuha) who (Ellaziina) believe (Aamanu'), do not (Laa) approach (Taq'rabu') the Litany (Es'Solaata) while (Wa) you (p) (Antum) are intoxicated (Sukaaraa) until (Hattaa) you know (Ta'lamuu) what (Maa) you are saying (Taquuluuna) nor (Walaa) unclean (Junuban) unless (illa) traversing (Aabirii) the road (Sabiilin) until (Hattaa) you have washed (5:6) (Tag'tasiluu); but (Wa) if (In) you are (Kuntum) sick (Mar'doa) or (Aw') on (Älaa) a journey (Safarin) or one (Ahadun) of you (Minkum) comes (Jaa'a) from (Mina) the toilet (El'Gaa'iti) or (Aw') you have touched (Laamas'tum) women (En'Nisaa'a) and (Fa) cannot (Lam') find (Tajiduu) water (Maa'an), then (Fa) aim at (Tayammamu') a nice (Toyyiban) field (Soeedan) and (Fa) wipe (Em'sahu') with (Bi) your faces (Wujuuhi-kum) and (Wa) your hands (Ai'dii-kum'). Indeed, GOD (Innallaha) is (Kaana) Pardoning (Afuwwan) and Forgiving (Gafuuraa).
4:44  Have you not (Alam') considered (Tara ilaa) those who (Ellaziina) were given (Uutu') a portion (Nasiiban) of (Mina) the Book (El'Kitaabi), buying (Yash'taruuna) error (Ed'Dolaalata) and (Wa) wishing (Yuriiduuna) that (An) you would stray (Tadiluu') from the way (Es'Sabiil)?
4:45  But (Wa) GOD (Ellahu) is aware of (A'lamu Bi) your enemies (A'daa'i-kum'); and (Wa) sufficient is GOD (Kafaa Bi-llahi) as an ally (Waliyyan), and (Wa) sufficient is GOD (Kafaa Bi-llahi) as a Helper (Nasiiraa).
4:46  Among (Mina) the Jews (Haadu') are those who (Ellaziina) distort (Yuharrifuuna) words (El'Kalima) out of (Än) their places (Mawaadie-hi), and (Wa) they say (Yaquuluuna), "We hear (Sami'naa), but (Wa) we disobey (Äsoi'naa), and (Wa) we can hear (Es'ma') without (Gai'ra) earshot (Mus'maen), so (Wa) observe us (Raae-naa),” twisting (Layyaa Bi) their tongues (Al'sinati-him') and defaming (To'nan Fii) the religion (Ed'Diini). And (Wa) if only they (Law' Anna-hum') had said (Qaalu'), "We hear (Sami'naa), and (Wa) we obey (Ato'naa)," and (Wa) they listened (Es'ma') and observed Us (Enzur'naa), it would have (La) been (Kaana) better (Khai'ran) for them (Lahum') and more appropriate (Aq'wama), but (Walaakin) GOD (Ellahu) has cursed them (Laäna-humu) for (Bi) their disbelief (Kuf'ri-him'), so they do not (Falaa) believe (Yu'minuuna), except (illa) a few (Qaliilaa).
4:47  O you (Yaa Ayyuha) who (Ellaziina) were given (Uutu') the Book (El'Kitaaba), believe (Aaminu') in what (Bimaa) We have revealed (Nazzal'naa) confirming (Musoddiqan) what (Limaa) is with you (Maäkum), before (Min Qab'li) We obliterate (Nat'misa) faces (Wujuuhaan) and (Fa) turn them (Narudda-haa) upon (Älaa) their backs (Ad'baari-haa) or (Aw') curse them (Nal'äna-hum') as (Kamaa) We cursed (Laännaa) the companions (As'haaba) of the Sabbath (2:65) (Es'Sab'ti). And (Wa) the command of GOD (Am'ru-llahi) is (Kaana) effective (Maf'uulaa).
4:48  Indeed, GOD (Innallaha) does not (Laa) forgive (Yag'firu) if (An) one associates others (Yush'raka) with HIM (Bihi), but (Wa) HE forgives (Yag'firu) what (Maa) is other than that (Duuna Zaalika) for whomever (Liman) HE wills (Yashaau). And whoever (Waman) associates others (Yush'rik') with GOD (Billahi), then (Fa) he has (Qadi) invented (Ef'taraa) a terrible (Äziimaa) sin (Ith'man).
4:49  Have you not (Alam') noticed (Tara ilaa) those who (Ellaziina) claim purity for (Yuzakkuuna) themselves (Anfusa-hum)? Rather (Bali) GOD (Ellahu) purifies (Yuzakkii) whomever (Man) HE wills (Yashaau) and does not (Walaa) wrong (Yuz'lamuuna) as much as a wick (Fatiilaa).
4:50  Look (Enzur') how (Kai'fa) they fabricate (Yaf'taruuna) falsehood (El'Kaziba) about GOD (Älaallahi); but (Wa) it is sufficient (Kafaa Bi-hi) as a clear (Mubiinaa) sin (Ith'man).
4:51  Have you not (Alam') considered (Tara ilaa) those who (Ellaziina) were given (Uutu') a portion (Nasiiban) of (Mina) the Book (El'Kitaabi), believing (Yu'minuuna) in voodoo (Bil' Jib'ti) and (Wa) idols (Ettoaguuti), and (Wa) they say about (Yaquuluuna Li) those who (Laziina) disbelieve (Kafaru'), "These (idolators) (Haaulaai) are better guided (Ah'daa) than (Mina) the way (Sabiilan) of those who (Ellaziina) have believed (Aamanu')."? (2:102)
4:52  Those (U'laa'ika) are the ones (Ellaziina) whom (-humu) GOD (Ellahu) has cursed (Laäna-), and whoever (Waman) GOD (Ellahu) curses (Yal'äni), then (Fa) you will never (Lan) find (Tajida) a helper (Nasiiraa) for him (Lahu).
4:53  Or (Am') do they have (Lahum') a share (Nasiibun) of (Mina) the dominion (El'Mul'ki)? Then (Fa) in that case (Izaa), they would not (Laa) give (Yu'tuuna) the people (En'Naasa) as much as a hilum (Naqiiraa).
4:54  Or (Am') do they envy (Yah'suduuna) the people (En'Naasa) for (Älaa) what (Maa) GOD (Ellahu) has given them (Aataa-humu) of (Min) HIS favour (Fad'li-hi)? For (Fa) We had already (Qad') given (Aatai'naa) the family (Aala) of Abraham (Ib'raahiima) the Book (El'Kitaaba) and the Wisdom (Wal' Hik'mata), and (Wa) We gave them (Aatai'naa-hum) a great (Äziimaa) kingdom (Mul'kan).
4:55  Thus (Fa) among them (Min'hum) were those who (Man') believed (Aamana), and (Wa) among them (Min'hum) were those who (Man) turned away from it (Sodda Än'hu), but (Wa) Hell (Jahannama) is sufficient (Kafaa Bi) as an inferno (Saeeraa).
4:56  Indeed (Inna), those who (Ellaziina) disbelieved (Kafaru') in (Bi) Our verses (Aayaati-naa); We will (Saw'fa) burn them (-Nus'lii-him') in fire (Naaran). Whenever (Kullamaa) their skins (Juluudu-hum) have roasted (Nadijat'), We will replace them (Baddal'naa-hum') with other (Gai'rahaa) skins (Juluudan) that (Li) they may taste (Yazuuqu') the punishment (El'Äzaaba). Indeed, GOD (Innallaha) is Almighty (Äziizan) and Wise (Hakiimaa).
4:57  As for (Wa) those who (Ellaziina) believed (Aamanu') and (Wa) did (Ämilu) good deeds (Es'Soalihaati), We will admit them (Sa Nud'khilu-hum') into gardens (Jannaatin) beneath which (Min Tah'ti-ha) rivers (El'An'haaru) flow (Taj'rii); eternally (Khaalidiina) therein (Fiihaa) forever (Abadan). They will have (Lahum') purified (Mutohharatun) mates (Az'waajun) therein (Fiihaa), and (Wa) We will admit them (Nud'khilu-hum') to a shaded (Zoliilaa) shelter (Zillan).
4:58  Indeed, GOD (Innallaha) commands you (Ya'muru-kum') to (An) return (Tuaddu') loyalties (El'Amaanaati) to (ilaa) their people (Ah'li-haa), and (Wa) when (Izaa) you judge (Hakam'tum) among (Bai'na) people (En'Naasi) to (An) judge (Tah'kumu') with justice (Bil' Äd'li). Indeed, GOD (Innallaha) admonishes you (Yaezu-kum) with (Bihi) comfort (Niemmaa). Indeed, GOD (Innallaha) is (Kaana) Hearing (Samiiän) and Seeing (Basiiraa).
4:59  O you (Yaa Ayyuha) who (Ellaziina) have believed (Aamanuu'), obey GOD (Atiiu'llaha) and (Wa) obey (Atiiu') the Messenger (Er'Rasuula), as well as (Wa) those in authority (U'liil' Am'ri) among you (Minkum'). And (Fa) if (In) you dispute with each other (Tanaaza'tum) about (Fii) anything (Shai'in), then (Fa) refer it (Rudduu-hu) to GOD (ilaallahi) and (Wa) the Messenger (Er'Rasuuli), if (In) you should (Kuntum') believe (Tu'minuuna) in GOD (Billahi) and the Last Day (Wal' Yaw'mil' Aakhiri). That (Zaalika) is better (Khai'run) and (Wa) best (Ah'sanu) in interpretation (Ta'wiilaa). (5:101)
4:60  Have you not (Alam') considered (Tara ilaa) those who (Ellaziina) are claiming (Yaz'umuuna) that they (Annahum) believe (Aamanu') in what (Bimaa) has been revealed (Unzila) to you (s) (ilai'ka) and what (Wamaa) was revealed (Unzila) before you (Min Qab'li-ka), desiring (Yuriiduuna) to (An) be litigating (Yatahaakamuu') to (ilaa) idols (Ettoaguuti), while (Wa) they have been (Qad') commanded (Umiruu') to (An) disbelieve (Yak'furu') in such (Bihi)? But (Wa) the devil (Es'Shai'toanu) intends (Yuriidu) to (An) mislead them (Yudilla-hum’) far (Baeedaa) astray (Dolaala).
4:61  And (Wa) when (Izaa) it is said (Qiila) to them (Lahum'), "Come (Ta'äälaw') to (ilaa) what (Maa) GOD has sent down (Anzala-llahu) and (Wa) to (ilaa) the Messenger (Er'Rasuuli)," you see (Ra'ai'ta) the hypocrites (El'Munaafiqiina) turning away (Yusudduuna) from you (Änka) in refusal (Suduudaa).
4:62  So (Fa) how (Kai'fa) will it be when (Izaa) a misfortune (Musiibatu) strikes them (Asoabat'hum) for what (Bimaa) their hands (Ai'dii-him') have sent forth (Qaddamat'), and then (Thumma) they will come to you (s) (Jaa'uu-ka) swearing (Yah'lifuuna) by GOD (Billahi), "We only (In' illaa) intended (Arad'naa) goodness (Ih'saanan) and (Wa) conformation (Taw'fiiqaa)!"
4:63  Those (U'laaika) are the ones whom (Ellaziina) GOD will expose (Ya'lamu-llahu) what (Maa) is in (Fii) their hearts (Quluubi-him'), so (Fa) turn away from them (A'rid' Än'hum'), admonish them (Ez'hum'), and (Wa) speak to them (Qul Lahum') about (Fii) their souls (Anfusi-him') a speech (Qaw'la) of eloquence (Baliigaa).
4:64  And (Wa) We do not (Maa) send (Ar'sal'naa) any (Min) messenger (Rasuulin) except (illa) to (Li) be obeyed (Yutoa'ä) by (Bi) the permission of GOD (Iz'ni-llahi). And (Wa) if only (Law' Anna-) when (Iz) they (-hum') wronged (Zolamuu') their souls (Anfusa-hum'), they had come to you (s) (Jaa'uu-ka) to (Fa) seek the forgiveness of GOD (Estag'faru'llaha), and (Wa) the Messenger (Er'Rasuulu) had sought forgiveness (Estag'fara) for them (Lahumu), they would have (La) found GOD (Wajadu'llaha) Compassionate (Tawwaaban) and Merciful (Rahiimaa).
4:65  But (Fa) no (Laa), by (Wa) your LORD (Rabbi-ka), they do not (Laa) believe (Yu'minuuna) until (Hattaa) they make you judge (4:105) (Yuhakkimuu-ka) in whatever (Fiimaa) they dispute (Shajara) among themselves (Bai'nahum') and (Thumma) should find (Yajidu') no (Laa) difficulty (Harajan) within (Fii) themselves (Anfusi-him') from what (Mimmaa) you have decided (Qadoi'ta) and (Wa) to submit (Yusallimu') with submission (33:56) (Tas'liimaa).
4:66  And (Wa) if (Law) We had (Anna) decreed to them (Katab'naa Älai'him) that (Ani), "Kill (Eq'tuluu') yourselves (Anfusa-kum)" or (Awi) "Go out (Ekh'ruju') of (Min) your homes (Diyaari-kum)," they would not (Maa) have done it (Faäluu-hu), except (illa) a few (Qaliilun) of them (Min'hum). And (Wa) if only they (Law' Anna-hum) had done (Faälu') what (Maa) they were exhorted (Yuu'äzuuna Bihi), it would have (La) been (Kaana) better (Khai'ran) for them (Lahum) and stronger (Ashadda) in stabilization (Tath'biitaa).
4:67  And (Wa) then (Izan) We would have (La) given them (Aatai'naa-hum) a great (Äziiman) reward (Aj'ran) from Us (Min Ladunnaa).
4:68  And (Wa) We would have (La) guided them (Hadai'naa-hum') to a straight (Mus'taqiimaa) path (Siraatoan).
4:69  And (Wa) whoever (Man) obeys (Yutie) GOD (Ellaha) and the Messenger (Er'Rasuula), then (Fa) those (U'laaika) are with (Maä) the ones (Ellaziina) whom (-him) GOD (Ellahu) has favoured (An'äma Älai'-) among (Mina) the prophets (19:58) (En'Nabiyyiina), the honest (Es'Siddiiqiina), the martyrs (Es'Shuhadaai), and (Wa) the righteous (Es'Soalihiina). And (Wa) those (U'laaika) are the best (Hasuna) in company (Rafiiqaa).
4:70  That (Zaalika) is the favour (El'Fad'lu) from GOD (Minallahi); and (Wa) sufficient is GOD (Kafaa Bi-llahi) as All-knowing (Äliimaa).
4:71  O you (Yaa Ayyuha) who (Ellaziina) believe (Aamanu'), take (Khuzu') your precaution (Hiz'ra-kum') and (Fa) hasten (Enfiru') with steadiness (Thubaatin) or (Awi) hasten (Enfiru') all together (Jamiiää).
4:72  For (Wa) indeed (Inna), among you (Minkum') is one who (Laman) would (La) retard (Yubattianna); and (Fa) if (In') a misfortune (Musiibatun) should strike you (Asoabat'kum), he would say (Qaala), "GOD (Ellahu) has favoured me (An'äma Älayya) because (Iz') I was (Akun) not (Lam') a witness (Shahiidaa) with them (Maähum'),"
4:73  But (Wa) if (Lain') a favour (Fad'lun) from GOD (Minallahi) touches you (p) (Asoaba-kum'), he would (La) say (Yaquulanna), as if (Ka'an) there had not (Lam') been (Takun) friendship (Mawaddatun) between you and him (Bai'na-kum Wa Bai'na-hu), "O (Yaa), if only (Lai'tanii) I had been (Kuntu) with them (Maähum'), then (Fa) I could have attained (Afuuza) a great (Äziimaa) achievement (Faw'zan)."
4:74  So let (Fal') those who (Ellaziina) fight (Yuqaatil') in (Fii) the way of GOD (Sabiili-llahi) trade (Yash'ruuna) the life (El'Hayaata) of the world (Ed'Dun'yaa) for the hereafter (Bil' Aakhirati). And (Wa) whoever (Man) fights (Yuqaatil') in (Fii) the way of GOD (Sabiili-llahi), and (Fa) gets killed (Yuq'tal') or (Aw') wins (Yag'lib'), then (Fa) We will (Saw'fa) give him (Nu'tii-hi) a great (Äziimaa) reward (Aj'ran).
4:75  And (Wa) why should you (Maa Lakum') not (Laa) fight (Tuqaatiluuna) in (Fii) the way of GOD (Sabiili-llahi) while (Wa) the oppressed (El'Mus'tad'äfiina) among (Mina) men 1 (Er'Rijaali), women 2 (En'Nisaai), and children 3 (Wal' Wil'daani) are those (Ellaziina) saying (Yaquuluuna), "Our LORD (Rabba-naa), remove us (Akh'rij'naa) from (Min') this (Haazihi) town (El'Qar'yati) whose people (Ah'lu-ha) are unjust (Ez'Zoalimi), and (Wa) appoint for us (Ej'äl Lanaa) a guardian (Waliyyan) from YOU (Min Ladun-ka) and appoint for us (Ej'äl La-naa) a helper (Nasiiran) from YOU (Min Ladun-ka)."?
4:76  Those who (Ellaziina) believe (Aamanu') are fighting (Yuqaatiluuna) in (Fii) the way of GOD (Sabiili-llahi), and (Wa) those who (Ellaziina) disbelieve (Kafaru') are fighting (Yuqaatiluuna) in (Fii) the way (Sabiili) of idols (Ettoaguuti); so (Fa) fight (Qaatiluu') the allies (Aw'liyaa'a) of the devil (Es'Shai'toani). Indeed (Inna), the scheme (Kai'da) of the devil (Es'Shai'toani) is (Kaana) weak (Doeefaa).
4:77  Have you not (Alam') considered (Tara ilaa) those who (Ellaziina) were told (Qiila Lahum'), "Refrain (Kuffuu') your hands (Ai'diya-kum') and (Wa) establish (Aqiimu') the Litany (Es'Solaata) and give (Aatu') the Charity (Ez'Zakaata)"? But (Fa) when (Lammaa) fighting (El'Qitaalu) was decreed (Kutiba) to them (Älai'himu), then (Izaa) a group (Fariiqun) of them (Min'hum') feared (Yakh'shaw'na) the people (En'Naasa) as (Ka) they should fear GOD (Khash'yati-llahi) or (Aw') more intense (Ashadda) in fear (Khash'yattan). And (Wa) they said (Qaalu'), "Our LORD (Rabba-naa), why (Lima) have YOU decreed (Katab'ta) fighting (El'Qitaala) for us (Älai'naa)? Why not (Law' Laa) delay us (Akkhar'ta-naa) to (ilaa) a near (Qariibin) term (Ajalin)!" Say (Qul'): "The enjoyment (Mataau) of the world (Ed'Dun'ya) is little (Qaliilun), while (Wa) the hereafter (El'Aakhiratu) is better (Khai'run) for whoever (Limani) is pious (Yattaqaa), and (Wa) you will not (Laa) be wronged (Tuz'lamuuna) as much as a wick (Fatiilaa)."
4:78  Wherever (Ai'namaa) you may be (Takuunu'), death (El'Maw'tu) will reach you (p) (Yud'rikkumu), even if (Walaw') you should be (Kuntum') in (Fii) lofty (Mushayyadatin) towers (Buruujin). And (Wa) if (In) good (Hasanatun) befalls them (Tusib'hum'), they say (Yaquulu'), "This (Haazihi) is from GOD (Min' Endi-llahi);" but (Wa) when (In) evil (Sayyiatun) befalls them (Tusib'hum'), they say (Yaquulu'), "This (Haazihi) is from you (s) (Min' Endi-ka)." Say (Qul'): "All (Kullun) is from GOD (Min' Endi-llahi)." So (Fa) why do (Maali) these (Haaulaai) people (El'Qaw'mi) hardly (Laa Yakaaduuna) comprehend (Yaf'qahuuna) a discourse (Hadiithaa)?
4:79  Whatever (Maa) befalls you (s) (Asoaba-ka) of (Min') good (Hasanatin), then (Fa) it is from GOD (Minallahi), but (Wa) whatever (Maa) befalls you (s) (Asoaba-ka) of (Min) evil (Sayyiatin), then (Fa) it is from (Min) yourself (Naf'si-ka). And (Wa) We have sent you (Mohammed) (Ar'sal'naa-ka) as a messenger (Rasuulan) to the people (Lin' Naasi); and (Wa) sufficient is GOD (Kafaa Bi-llahi) as a Witness (63:1) (Shahiidaa).
4:80  Whoever (Man) obeys (Yutie) the Messenger (Er'Rasuula), thence (Fa) he has (Qad') obeyed (Atoa'ä) GOD (Ellaha); but (Wa) whoever (Man) turns away (Tawallaa), then (Fa) We have not (Maa) sent you (s) (Ar'sal'naa-ka) as a guardian (Hafiizoa) over them (Älai'him'). (4:64)
4:81  And (Wa) they say (Yaquuluuna), "Obedience (Toaätun)," but (Fa) when (Izaa) they go away (Barazu') from you (s) (Min' Endi-ka), a faction (Toa'ifatun) of them (Min'hum') contrive (Bayyata) other than (Gai'ra) what (Ellazii) you say (Taquulu). But (Wa) GOD (Ellahu) records (Yak'tubu) whatever (Maa) they contrive (Yubayyituuna). So (Fa) turn away from them (A'rid' Än'hum') and (Wa) rely (Tawakkal') on GOD (Älaallahi). For (Wa) sufficient is GOD (Kafaa Bi-llahi) as a Representative (Wakiilaa).
4:82  Do they then not (Afalaa) contemplate (47:24) (Yatadabbaruuna) the Koran (El'Qur'aana)? And (Wa) had it been (Law' Kaana) from (Min Endi) other than GOD (10:37) (Gai'rillahi), they would have (La) found (Wajadu') numerous (Kathiiraa) contradictions (Ekh'tilaafan) therein (Fiihi).
4:83  And (Wa) when (Izaa) there comes to them (Jaa'a-hum') an issue (a concern) (Am'run) about (Mina) security (El'Am'ni) or (Awi) fear (El'Khaw'fi), they broadcast it (Azaau' Bi-hi). And (Wa) had (Law') they referred it (Radduu-hu) to (ilaa) the Messenger (Er'Rasuuli) and (Wa) to (ilaa) those in authority (U'liil' Am'ri) among them (Min'hum'), those who (Ellaziina) can deduce it (Yas'tanbituunahu) among them (Min'hum') would have (La) found it out (Älima-hu). And (Wa) if not for (Law' Laa) the favour of GOD (Fad'lu-llahi) upon you (p) (Älai'kum') and (Wa) HIS mercy (Rah'matu-hu), you would have (La) followed (Ettaba'tumu) the devil (Es'Shai'toana), except (illa) a few (Qaliilaa).
4:84  So (Fa) fight (Qaatil') in (Fii) the way of GOD (Sabiili-llahi); you will not (Laa) be charged (Tukallafu) except (illa) for your soul (s) (Naf'sa-ka), so (Wa) rouse (Harridi) the believers (El'Mu'miniina) perhaps GOD (Äsaa-llahu An) will restrain (Yakuffa) the might (Ba'sa) of those who (Ellaziina) have disbelieved (Kafaru'). For (Wa) GOD (Ellahu) is stronger (Ashaddu) in might (Ba'san) and (Wa) stronger (Ashaddu) in exemplary punishment (Tankiilaa).
4:85  Whoever (Man) intercedes (Yash'fa') a good (Hasanatan) intercession (Shafaa'ätan) will have (Yakun Lahu) a share (Nasiibun) thereof (Min'ha), and whoever (Waman) intercedes (Yash'fa') an evil (Sayyi'atan) intercession (Shafaa'ätan) will have (Yakun Lahu) a guarantee (Kif'lun) thereof (Min'ha). And (Wa) GOD (Ellahu) is (Kaana) a sustainer of (Muqiitaa Älaa) all (Kulli) things (Shai'in).
4:86  And (Wa) when (Izaa) you are greeted (Huyyiitum) with (Bi) a greeting (Tahiyyatin), then (Fa) greet (Hayyu') with (Bi) one better (Ah'sana) than it (Min'haa) or (Aw') reply it (answer) (Rudduu-haa). Indeed, GOD (Innallaha) is (Kaana) a reckoner of (Hasiibaa Älaa) all (Kulli) things (Shai'in).
4:87  GOD (Ellahu); there is no god (Laa ilaaha) except (illa) HIM (Huwa). HE will (La) gather you (Yaj'maännakum') for (ilaa) the Day of Resurrection (Yaw'mil' Qiyaamati), there is no (Laa) doubt (Rai'ba) about it (Fiihi). And who (Waman') is more truthful (As'daqu) than GOD (Minallahi) in discourse (45:6) (Hadiithaa)?
4:88  So (Fa) why are you (Maa Lakum') two parties (Fiatai'ni) concerning (Fii) the hypocrites (El'Munaafiqiina), while (Wa) GOD (Ellahu) has orchestrated them (Ar'kasa-hum) because of what (Bimaa) they have earned (Kasabuu')? Do you intend (Aturiidu) to (An) guide (Tah'du') those (Man') sent astray by GOD (Adolla-llahu)? And whoever (Waman) GOD sends astray (Yud'lili-llahu), then (Fa) you will never (Lan) find (Tajida) a way (Sabiilan) for him (Lahu).
4:89  They wish (Waddu' Law') you would disbelieve (Tak'furuuna) just as (Kamaa) they have disbelieved (Kafaru'), then (Fa) you would become (Takuunuuna) equal (Sawaa'an). So do not (Falaa) take (Tattakhizu) allies (Aw'liyaa'a) from them (Min'hum') until (Hattaa) they emigrate (Yuhaajiru') in (Fii) the way of GOD (Sabiili-llahi). But (Fa) if (In) they (the hypocrites) turn away (Tawallaw'), then (Fa) seize them (Khuzuu-hum') and (Wa) kill them (Eq'tuluu-hum') wherever (Hai'thu) you find them (Wajadttumuu-hum'). And (Wa) do not (Laa) take (Tattakhizu') from them (Min'hum') any ally (Waliyyan) nor (Walaa) helper (Nasiiraa).
4:90  Except (illa) those who (Ellaziina) adjoin (Yasiluuna ilaa) a people (Qaw'mi) between you and them (Bai'na-kum' Wa Bai'na-hum) is a covenant (Miithaaqun) or (Aw') come to you (Jaa'uu-kum') with their bosoms (Suduuru-hum') restrained (Hasirat') from (An) fighting you (Yuqaatiluu-kum') or (Aw') fighting (Yuqaatilu') their people (Qaw'ma-hum'). And (Wa) if (Law') GOD had willed (Shaa'a-llahu), HE could have (La) granted them power (Sallato-hum') over you (Älai'kum'), and (Fa) they would have (La) fought you (Qaataluu-kum'). Therefore (Fa) if (Ini) they dissociate from you (E'tazaluu-kum') and (Fa) do not (Lam') fight you (Yuqaatiluu-kum') and (Wa) offer you (Al'qaw' ilai'kumu) peace (Es'Salama), then (Fa) GOD (Ellahu) has not (Maa) granted you (Jaäla lakum') a way (Sabiilan) against them (Älai'him').
4:91  You will find (Sa Tajiduuna) others (Aakhariina) who intend (Yuriiduuna) to (An) be secured with you (Ya'manuu-kum') and (Wa) be secured with (Ya'manu') their people (Qaw'ma-hum'). Whenever (Kulla Maa) they are returned (Rudduu') to (ilaa) a trial (El'Fit'nati), they orchestrate (Ur'kisu') therein (Fiihaa). So (Fa) if (In) they do not (Lam') dissociate from you (Ya'taziluu-kum') and (Wa) offer you (Yul'quu' ilai'kumu) peace (Es'Salama) and (Wa) refrain (Yakuffuu') their hands (Ai'diya-hum'), then (Fa) seize them (Khuzuu-hum') and (Wa) kill them (Eq'tuluu-hum') wherever (Hai'thu) you apprehend them (Thaqif'tumuu-hum'). And (Wa) those (U'laaikum'), We have granted you (Jaäl'naa Lakum') a clear (Mubiinan) authority (Sul'toanan) against them (Älai'him').
4:92  And (Wa) it is (Kaana) not (Maa) for (Li) a believer (Mu'minin) to (An) kill (Yaq'tula) a believer (Mu'minan) except (illa) by mistake (Khatoan). And (Wa) whoever (Man) kills (Qatala) a believer (Mu'minan) by mistake (Khatoan), then (Fa) he (the believer) shall free (Tah'riiru) a believing (Mu'minatin) slave (Raqabatin) and (Wa) offer (Musallamatun) blood money (Diyatun) to (ilaa) his family (the dead’s) (Ah'li-hi), unless (illa An) they make it alms (Yassoddaqu'). But (Fa) if (In) he (the dead) was (Kaana) from (Min) a people (Qaw'min) who are enemies to you (Äduwwin La-kum') while (Wa) he (Huwa) was a believer (Mu'minun), then (Fa) he shall free (Tah'riiru) a believing (Mu'minatin) slave (Raqabatin); and (Wa) if (In) he (the dead) was (Kaana) from (Min) a people (Qaw'mi) between you and them (Bai'na-kum Wa Bai'na-hum) is a covenant (Miithaaqun), then (Fa) offer (Musallamatun) blood money 1 (Diyatun) to (ilaa) his family (Ah'li-hi) and (Wa) free (Tah'riiru) a believing (Mu'minatin) slave 2 (Raqabatin). And (Fa) whoever (Man) does not (Lam') find (Yajid'), then (Fa) fast (Siyaamu) for two months (Shah'rai'ni) consecutively (Mutataabi'äi'ni); as repentance (Taw'batan) from GOD (Minallahi). And (Wa) GOD (Ellahu) is (Kaana) Omniscient (Äliiman) and Wise (Hakiimaa).
4:93  But (Wa) whoever (Man) kills (Yaq'tul') a believer (Mu'minan) deliberately (Mutaämmidan), then (Fa) his requital (Jazaa'u-hu) is Hell (Jahanammu), therein (Fiihaa) eternally (Khaalidan). For (Wa) GOD (Ellahu) is angry with him (Gadiba Älai'hi) and (Wa) has cursed him (Laäna-hu), and (Wa) has prepared (Aädda) a terrible (Äziimaa) punishment (Äzaaban) for him (Lahu).
4:94  O you (Yaa Ayyuha) who (Ellaziina) have believed (Aamanuu'), whenever (Izaa) you strike (Dorab'tum) in (Fii) the way of GOD (Sabiili-llahi), then (Fa) ascertain (Tabayyanu'), and do not (Walaa) say (Taquulu') to one who (Liman') offers you (Al'qaa ilai'kumu) peace (Es'Salaama), "You are not (Las'ta) a believer (Mu'minan)," seeking (Tab'taguuna) the exhibition (Ärado) of the worldly (Ed'Dun'ya) life (El'Hayaati); for (Wa) with GOD (Endallahi) are much (Kathiiratun) spoils (48:20) (Magaanimu). You were (Kuntum) like that (Kazaalika) before (Min Qab'lu), and (Fa) GOD (Ellahu) favoured you (Manna Älai'kum'), so (Fa) ascertain (Tabayyanuu'). Indeed, GOD (Innallaha) is (Kaana) conversant (Khabiir) with what (Bimaa) you do (Ta'maluun).
4:95  Not (Laa) equal (Yas'tawii) are those sitting back (El'Qaaeduuna) among (Mina) the believers (El'Mu'miniina) other than (Gai'ru) those (U'lii) who were injured (Ed'Dorari) and (Wa) the strivers (El'Mujaahiduuna) in (Fii) the way of GOD (Sabiili-llahi) with (Bi) their wealth (Am'waali-him') and their souls (Anfusi-him'). GOD has favoured (Faddola-llahu) the strivers (El'Mujaahidiina) with (Bi) their wealth (Am'waali-him') and (Wa) their souls (Anfusi-him') over (Älaa) those sitting back (El'Qaa'ediina), by degree (Darajatan). And (Wa) GOD has promised (Waäda-llahu) the best (El'Hus'naa) for both (Kullan). But (Wa) GOD has favoured (Faddola-llahu) the strivers (El'Mujaahidiina) over (Älaa) those sitting back (El'Qaa'ediina) with a great (Äziimaa) reward (Aj'ran);
4:96  degrees (Darajaatin) from HIM (Min'hu) as well as (Wa) forgiveness (Mag'firatan) and (Wa) mercy (Rah'matan). And (Wa) GOD (Ellahu) is (Kaana) Forgiving (Gafuuran) and Merciful (Rahiimaa).
4:97  Indeed (Inna), those (Ellaziina) the Angels (El'Malaaikatu) will cause their death (Tawaffaa-humu) in wronging (Zoalimii) their souls (Anfusi-him'), they (the Angels) will say (Qaalu'), "In what (Fiima) were you (Kuntum')?" They (the wrongdoers) will say (Qaalu'), "We were (Kunnaa) oppressed (Mustad'äfiina) in (Fii) the land (El'Ar'di)." They (the Angels) will say (Qaaluu'), "Was (Takun') the earth of GOD (Ar'du-llahi) not (Alam') spacious (Waasiätan) to (Fa) emigrate (Tuhaajiru') therein (Fiihaa)?" Thus (Fa) those (U'laaika) are the ones whose refuge (Ma'waa-hum') is Hell (Jahannamu); such (Wa) an evil (Saa'at') destiny (Masiiraa).
4:98  Except (illa) the oppressed (El'Mus'tad'äfiina) among (Mina) men 1 (Er'Rijaali), women 2 (En'Nisaai) and children 3 (Wal' Wil'daani) who are not (Laa) able to (Yastatii'uuna) dodge (Hiilatan) nor (Walaa) are they guided to (Yah'taduuna) a way (Sabiilaa).
4:99  Then (Fa) those (U'laaika), GOD (Ellahu) will perhaps (Äsaa An) pardon them (Ya'fuwa Än'hum'). For (Wa) GOD (Ellahu) is (Kaana) Pardoning (Äfuwwan) and Forgiving (Gafuuraa).
4:100  And (Wa) whoever (Man) emigrates (Yuhaajir') in (Fii) the way of GOD (Sabiili-llahi) will find (Yajid') many (Kathiiran) places of refuge (Muraagaman) and (Wa) abundance (Saätan) on earth (Fiil' Ar'di). And whoever (Waman) leaves (Yakh'ruj' Min) his house (Bai'ti-hi) as an emigrant (Muhaajiran) to GOD (ilaallahi) and (Wa) HIS messenger (Rasuuli-hi) and then (Thumma) death (El'Maw'tu) overtakes him (Yud'rik'hu), then (Fa) his reward (Aj'ru-hu) will already (Qad') take place (Waqaä) at GOD (Älaallahi). And (Wa) GOD (Ellahu) is (Kaana) Forgiving (Gafuuran) and Merciful (Rahiimaa).
4:101  And (Wa) whenever (Izaa) you travel (Dorab'tum') through the land (Fiil' Ar'di), there (Fa) is no (Lai'sa) blame on you (Junaahun Älai'kum') in case (An) you shorten (Taq'suru) from (Mina) the Litany (Es'Solaati), if (In') you fear (Khiftum') that (An) those who (Ellaziina) disbelieve (Kafaruu') may riot you (Yaf'tina-kumu). Indeed (Inna), the disbelievers (El'Kaafiriina) are (Kaanu') clear (Mubiinan) enemies (Äduwwan) to you (Lakum'). (2:238-239)
4:102  And (Wa) when (Izaa) you (s) (Kunta) are among them (Fiihim'), then (Fa) establish (Aqam'ta) the Litany (Es'Solaata) for them (Lahumu), and let (Fal') a faction (Toa'ifatun) of them (Min'hum) stand (-taqum') with you (s) (Maäka), and let (Wal') them take (-ya'khuzuu') their weapons (As'lihata-hum'), and (Fa) when (Izaa) they have prostrated (19:58) (Sajadu'), then let (Fal') them be (-yakuunu') behind you (p) (Min Waraa'ikum'), and let (Wal') the other (Ukh'raa) faction (Toa'ifatun) who have not (Lam') prayed (Yusollu') come (-ta'ti), and let (Fal') them pray (-yusollu') with you (s) (Maäka), and let (Wal') them take (-ya'khuzu') their precaution (Hiz'ra-hum') and (Wa) their weapons (As'lihata-hum'). And (Wa) those who (Ellaziina) disbelieve (Kafaru') wish (Wadda Law') you would neglect (Tag'fuluuna Än') your weapons (As'lihati-kum') and (Wa) your belongings (Am'taäti-kum') so (Fa) they could attack you (p) (Yamiiluuna Älai'kum) with a single (Waahidatan) tilt (attack) (Mai'latan). And (Wa) there is no (Laa) blame on you (Junaaha Älai'kum'), if (In) you are (Kaana Bi-kum') troubled by (Azaan Min) rain (Matorin) or (Aw') you are (Kuntum) sick (Mar'doa) in case (An) you put down (Tadouu') your weapons (As'lihata-kum'), but (Wa) take (Khuzu') your precaution (Hiz'ra-kum'). Indeed, GOD (Innallaha) has prepared (Aädda) for the disbelievers (Lil' Kaafiriina) a humiliating (Muhiinaa) punishment (Äzaaban).
4:103  And (Fa) when (Izaa) you have concluded (Qadoi'tumu) the Litany (Es'Solaata), then (Fa) remember GOD (Ez'kuru'llaha); standing (Qiyaaman), sitting (Qu'uudan), and (Wa) on (Älaa) your sides (Junuubi-kum'). But (Fa) when (Izaa) you are calm (Et'ma'nantum'), then (Fa) establish (Aqiimu') the Litany (Es'Solaata). Indeed (Inna), the Litany (Es'Solaata) is (Kaanat') upon (Älaa) the believers (El'Mu'miniina) at decreed (written) (Kitaaban) times (Maw'quutaa). (11:114 / 17:78-79)
4:104  And do not (Walaa) be weak (Tahinu') in (Fii) looking for (Eb'tigaai) the people (the enemies) (El'Qaw'mi). If (In) you should be (Takuunu') suffering (Ta’lamuuna), then (Fa) indeed, they (Innahum') are suffering (Ya’lamuuna) just as (Kamaa) you are suffering (Ta’lamuuna), but (Wa) you expect (Tar'juuna) from GOD (Minallahi) what (Maa) they do not (Laa) expect (Yar'juuna). And (Wa) GOD (Ellahu) is (Kaana) Omniscient (Äliiman) and Wise (Hakiimaa).
4:105  Indeed (Innaa), We have revealed (Anzal'naa) the Book (El'Kitaaba) to you (Mohammed) (ilai'ka) in truth (Bil' Haqqi) so that (Li) you may judge (Tah'kuma) between (Bai'na) the people (En'Naasi) by what (Bimaa) GOD (Ellahu) has shown you (s) (Araa-ka). And (Wa) do not (Laa) be (Takun) an adversary (Khasiiman) for the traitors (Lil' Khaa-iniina). (5:48-49)
4:106  And (Wa) seek the forgiveness of GOD (Es'tag'firi-llaha). Indeed, GOD (Innallaha) is (Kaana) Forgiving (Gafuuran) and Merciful (Rahiimaa). (73:20)
4:107  And (Wa) do not (Laa) argue (Tujaadil') for (on behalf of) (Äni) those who (Ellaziina) betray (Yakh'taanuuna) their souls (Anfusa-hum'). Indeed, GOD (Innallaha) does not (Laa) like (Yuhibbu) one who (Man) is (Kaana) a traitor (Khawwaanan) and a sinner (Athiimaa).
4:108  They (the traitors) hide (Yas'takh'fuuna) from (Mina) the people (En'Naasi), but (Wa) they do not (Laa) hide (Yas'takh'fuuna) from GOD (Minallahi), but (Wa) HE (Huwa) is with them (Maähum') when (Iz') they contrive (Yubayyituuna) what (Maa) HE does not (Laa) approve (Yar'doa) of (Mina) speech (El'Qaw'li). And (Wa) GOD (Ellahu) is (Kaana) conscious of (Muhiitoa Bi) what (Maa) they do (Ya'maluuna).
4:109  Here (Haa) you (Antum') are those (Haaulaai) arguing (Jaadal'tum') for them (Än'hum') in (Fii) the worldly (Ed'Dun'ya) life (El'Hayaati), but (Fa) who (Man) will argue with (Yujaadilu) GOD (Ellaha) for them (Än'hum') on the Day of Resurrection (Yaw'mal' Qiyaamati)? Or (Am) who (Man) will be (Yakuunu) their advocate (Wakiilan Älai'him')?
4:110  And (Wa) whoever (Man) acts (Ya'mal') evil (Suwa'an), or (Aw') wrongs (Yaz'lim') his soul (Naf'sa-hu), and then (Thumma) seeks the forgiveness of GOD (Yas'tag'firi-llaha) will find (Yajidi) GOD (Ellaha) Forgiving (Gafuuran) and Merciful (Rahiimaa).
4:111  And (Wa) whoever (Man) earns (Yak'sib') a sin (Ith'man), then (Fa) he only (Innamaa) earns it (Yak'sibu-hu) against (Älaa) his soul (himself) (Naf'si-hi). And (Wa) GOD (Ellahu) is (Kaana) Omniscient (Äliiman) and Wise (Hakiimaa).
4:112  But (Wa) whoever (Man) earns (Yak'sib') a fault (Khatii'atan) or (Aw') a sin (Ith'man) and then (Thumma) accuses (Yar'mi) an innocent person (Bariian) with it (Bihi), then (Fa) he has (Qadi) tolerated (Eh'tamala) a slander (Buh'taanan) and (Wa) a clear (Mubiinaa) sin (Ith'man).
4:113  And (Wa) if not for (Law' Laa) the favour of GOD (Fad'lu-llahi) upon you (s) (Älai'ka) and HIS mercy (Rah'matu-hu), a faction (Toa'ifatun) among them (Min'hum') would have (La) intended (Hammat) to (An) mislead you (s) (Yudilluu-ka), but (Wa) they only (Maa illaa) mislead (Yudilluuna) themselves (Anfusa-hum'), and (Wa) they cannot (Maa) harm you (s) (Yadurruunaka) at all (Min Shai'in). For (Wa) GOD (Ellahu) has revealed (Anzala) to you (Älai'ka) the Book (El'Kitaaba) and the Wisdom (Wal' Hik'mata) and has taught you (s) (Ällama-ka) what (Maa) you did not (Lam' Takun) know (96:5) (Ta'lamu). And (Wa) the favour of GOD (62:4) (Fad'lu-llahi) upon you (s) (Älai'ka) has been (Kaana) great (Äziimaa).
4:114  There is no (Laa) good (Khai'ra) in (Fii) much (Kathiirin) of (Min) their secret conversation (conspiracy) (Naj'waa-hum'), except for (illa) those who (Man') call for (Amara Bi) alms 1 (Sodaqatin) or (Aw') kindness 2 (Ma'ruufin) or (Aw') reconciliation between (Is'laahi Bai'na) the people 3 (En'Naasi). And (Wa) whovever (Man) does (Yaf'äl') that (Zaalika) seeking (Eb'tigaa'a) the approval of GOD (Mar'doati-llahi), then (Fa) We will (Saw'fa) give him (Nu'tii-hi) a great (Äziimaa) reward (Aj'ran).
4:115  And (Wa) whoever (Man) opposes (Yushaaqiqi) the Messenger (Er'Rasuula) after (Min Ba'di) what (Maa) has been made clear (Tabayyana) to him (Lahu) of the Guidance (45:11) (El'Hudaa) and (Wa) follows (Yattabi') other than (Gai'ra) the way (Sabiili) of the believers (El'Mu'miniina), We will turn him to (Nuwalli-hi) what (Maa) he has turned (Tawallaa) and (Wa) burn him (Nus'li-hi) in Hell (Jahannama), such (Wa) an evil (Saa'at') destiny (Masiiraa)!
4:116  Indeed, GOD (Innallaha) does not (Laa) forgive (Yag'firu) if (An) one associate others (Yush'raka) with HIM (Bihi), but (Wa) HE forgives (Yag'firu) whatever (Maa) is below that (Duuna Zaalika) for whomever (Liman) HE wills (Yashaau). And whoever (Waman) associates others (Yush'rik') with GOD (Billahi), then (Fa) he has (Qad') strayed (Dolla) far (Baeedaa) astray (Dolaala).
4:117  They do not (In) invoke (Yad'uuna) besides HIM (Min Duuni-hi) except (illaa) female gods (Inaathan), but (Wa) they are only (In illa) invoking (Yad'uuna) a rebellious (Mariidaa) devil (Shai'toanan).
4:118  GOD (Ellahu) has cursed him (Laäna-hu), for (Wa) he said (Qaala), "I will (La) take (Attakhizanna) an ordained (Maf'ruudoa) share (Nasiiban) of (Min') YOUR servants (Ebaadi-ka),
4:119  and (Wa) I (the devil) will (La) mislead them (Udillannahum'); I will (La) make them aspire (Umanniyannahum'), I will (La) command them (Amurannahum') to let (Fala) them slit (Yubattikunna) the ears (Aazaana) of livestock (El'An'äämi) and (Wa) I will (La) command them (Amurannahum') to let (Fala) them change (Yugayyirunna) the creation of GOD (Khal'qa-llahi)." And whoever (Waman) takes (Yattakhizi) the devil (Es'Shai'toana) as an ally (Waliyyan) besides GOD (Min Duuni-llahi), then (Fa) he has (Qad') lost (Khasira) by a clear (Mubiinaa) loss (Khus'raanan).
4:120  He (the devil) promises them (Yuedu-hum') and (Wa) raises their hopes (Ayumannii-him'); but (Wa) the devil (Es'Shai'toanu) only (Maa illa) promises them (Yaedu-humu) delusion (Guruuraa).
4:121  Those (U'laaika) are the ones whose refuge (Ma'waa-hum') is Hell (Jahannamu), and (Wa) they will not (Laa) find (Yajiduuna) any escape (Mahiisoa) from it (Än'haa).
4:122  As for (Wa) those who (Ellaziina) believed (Aamanu') and (Wa) did (Ämilu') good deeds (Es'Soalihaati), We will admit them (Sa Nud'khilu-hum') into gardens (Jannaatin) beneath which (Tah'tihaa) rivers (El'An'haaru) flow (Taj'rii), eternally (Khaalidiina) therein (Fiihaa) forever (Abadan). The promise of GOD (Wa'da-llahi) is true (Haqqan), and (Wa) who (Man') is more truthful (As'daqu) than GOD (Minallahi) in statement (Qiilaa)?
4:123  It is not (Lai'sa) by (Bi) your wishes (desires) (Amaaniyyi-kum) nor (Walaa) the wishes (Amaaniyyi) of the People of the Book (Ah'lil' Kitaabi); whoever (Man) acts (Ya'mal') evil (Suu-an) will be requited (Yuj'za) for it (Bihi), and (Wa) he will not (Laa) find (Yajid') for himself (Lahu) any guardian (Waliyyan) nor (Walaa) helper (Nasiiraa) besides GOD (Min Duuni-llahi).
4:124  And (Wa) whoever (Man) acts (Ya'mal') of (Mina) good deeds (Es'Soalihaati), a (Min) male (Zakarin) or (Aw') a female (Unthaa), while (Wa) being (Huwa) a believer (Mu'minun), then (Fa) those (U'laaika) will enter (Yad'khuluuna) the Garden (El'Jannata) and will not (Walaa) be wronged (Yuz'lamuuna) as much as a hilum (Naqiiraa).
4:125  And (Wa) who (Man') is better (Ah'sanu) in religion (Diinan) than one who (Mimman') submits (As'lama) his aim (Waj'ha-hu) to GOD (Lillahi) while (Wa) being (Huwa) benevolent (Muh'sinun) and (Wa) follows (Ettabaä) the Creed (Millata) of Abraham (2:130) (Ib'raahiima), orthodoxly (Haniifan)? For (Wa) GOD (Ellahu) took (Ettakhaza) Abraham (Ib'raahiima) as a friend (Khaliilaa).
4:126  And (Wa) to GOD belongs (Lillahi) whatever (Maa) is in (Fii) the heavens (Es'Samaawaati) and whatever (Wamaa) is on earth (Fiil' Ar'di). And (Wa) GOD (Ellahu) is conscious of (Muhiiton Bi) all (Kulli) things (Shai'in).
4:127  And (Wa) they seek your legal opinion (s) (Yas'taf'tuunaka) concerning (Fii) the women (En'Nisaai). Say (Quli): "GOD (Ellahu) opines you (p) (Yuf'tii-kum') concerning them (Fiihinna) and what (Wamaa) has been recited (Yut'laa) to you (Älai'kum') in (Fii) the Book (El'Kitaabi) regarding (Fii) the orphaned (Yataamaa) women (adultfemales) (En'Nisaai) whom (Ellaatii) you did not (Laa) give (Tu'tuunahunna) what (Maa) was decreed (Kutiba) for them (Lahunna), and (Wa) you wished (Tar'gabuuna) to (An) marry them (Tankihuu-hunna), as well as (Wa) the oppressed (El'Mus'tad'äfiina) among (Mina) children (El'Wil'daani), and (Wa) that (An) you should stand (Taquumu') for the orphans (Lil' Yataamaa) in justice (Bil' Qis'ti). And whatever (Wamaa) you do (Taf'älu') of (Min') good (Khai'rin), then (Fa) indeed, GOD (Innallaha) is (Kaana) aware of it (Äliima Bi-hi)."
4:128  And (Wa) if (Ini) a wife (woman) (Em'ra'atun) fears (Khaafat') discord (4:34) (Nushuuzan) from (Min) her husband (Ba'li-haa) or (Aw') avoidance (I'raadoan), then (Fa) there is no (Laa) blame on them both (Junaaha Älai'himaa) to (An) reconcile between themselves (Yus'lihan Bai'na-humaa) by reconciliation (Sul'haan); for (Wa) reconciliation (Es'Sul'hu) is best (Khai'run), but (Wa) the souls (An'fusu) bring in (Uh'dirati) greed (Shuhha). And (Wa) if (In) you do well (Tuh'sinuu) and become pious (Tattaquu), then (Fa) indeed GOD (Innallaha) is conversant (Khabiiran) with what (Bimaa) you do (Ta'maluuna).
4:129  And (Wa) you will never (Lan) be able (Tas'tatiiuu') to (An) act justly (4:3) (Ta'dilu') between (Bai'na) women (wives) (En'Nisaai), even if (Walaw') you desire (Haras'tum’). So (Fa) do not (Laa) be partial (Tamiiluu') entirely (Kulla) by inclining (El'Mai'li) to (Fa) leave her (Tazaruu-ha) as if (Ka) she is pending (suspended) (El'Muällaqati). But (Wa) if (In) you reform (Tus'lihuu') and (Wa) become pious (Tattaqu'), then (Fa) indeed, GOD (Innallaha) is Forgiving (Gafuuran) and Merciful (Rahiimaa).
4:130  And (Wa) if (In) they should separate (Yatafarraqaa), GOD will enrich (Yug'ni-llahu) each (Kullan) from (Min) HIS abundance (Saäti-hi). For (Wa) GOD (Ellahu) is (Kaana) Encompassing (Waasiän) and Wise (Hakiimaa).
4:131  And (Wa) to GOD belongs (Lillahi) whatever (Maa) is in (Fii) the heavens (Es'Samaawaati) and whatever (Wamaa) is on earth (Fiil' Ar'di). And (Wa) We have certainly (Laqad') advised (Wassoi'naa) those who (Ellaziina) were given (Uutu') the Book (El'Kitaaba) before you (Min Qab'li-kum') as well as (Wa) you (Iyyakum') that (Ani) beware of GOD (Ettaqu'llaha), but (Wa) if (In) you disbelieve (Tak'furu'), then (Fa) indeed (Inna), to GOD belongs (Lillahi) whatever (Maa) is in (Fii) the heavens (Es'Samaawaati) and the earth (Wal' Ar'di). And (Wa) GOD (Ellahu) is (Kaana) Rich (Ganiyyan) and Praiseworthy (Hamiidaa).
4:132  And (Wa) to GOD belongs (Lillahi) whatever (Maa) is in (Fii) the heavens (Es'Samaawaati) and whatever (Wamaa) is on earth (Fiil' Ar'di). And (Wa) sufficient is GOD (Kafaa Bi-llahi) as a Representative (Wakiilaa).
4:133  If (In) HE wills (Yasha'), HE can remove you (Yuz'hib'kum'), O (Ayyuha) people (En'Naasu), and (Wa) bring (Ya'ti Bi) others (Aakhariina). And (Wa) GOD (Ellahu) is (Kaana) capable of (Qadiira Älaa) that (Zaalika).
4:134  Whoever (Man Kaana) desires (Yuriidu) the reward (Thawaaba) of the world (Ed'Dun'ya), then (Fa) with GOD (Endallahi) is the reward (Thawaabu) of the world (Ed'Dun'ya) and the hereafter (Wal' Aakhirati). And (Wa) GOD (Ellahu) is (Kaana) Hearing (Samiiä) and Seeing (Basiira).
4:135  O you (Yaa Ayyuha) who (Ellaziina) believe (Aamanu'), be (Kuunu') upright (Qawwaamiina) in justice (Bil' Qis'ti), as witnesses (5:8) (Shuhadaa'a) for GOD (Lillahi), even if (Walaw') it is against (Älaa) yourselves (Anfusi-kum') or (Aw') parents (El'Waalidai'ni) and relatives (Wal' Aq'rabiina). Whether (In) he is (Yakun') rich (Ganiyyan) or (Aw') needy (Faqiiran), for (Fa) GOD (Ellahu) is more deserving (Aw'laa) to both of them (Bihimaa). So (Fa) do not (Laa) follow (Tattabiu') inclination (El'Hawaa), lest (An) you counteract (Ta'dilu'). And (Wa) if (In) you distort (Tal'wuu) or (Aw') turn away (Tu'ridu'), then (Fa) indeed, GOD (Innallaha) is (Kaana) conversant (Khabiiraa) with what (Bimaa) you do (Ta'maluuna).
4:136  O you (Yaa Ayyuha) who (Ellaziina) have believed (Aamanuu'), believe (Aaminu) in GOD (Billahi), HIS messenger (Rasuuli-hi), and the Book (El'Kitaabi) which (Ellazii) HE revealed (Nazzala) to (Älaa) HIS messenger (Rasuuli-hi), as well as (Wa) the Book (El'Kitaabi) which (Ellazii) was revealed (Anzala) before (Min Qab'lu). And (Wa) whoever (Man) disbelieves (Yak'fur') in GOD 1 (Billahi), HIS Angels 2 (Malaa'ikati-hi), HIS books 3 (Kutubi-hi), HIS messengers 4 (Rusuli-hi) and (Wa) the Last Day 5 (El'Yaw'mil' Aakhiri), then (Fa) he has (Qad') strayed (Dolla) far (Baeedaa) astray (Dolaala).
4:137  Indeed (Inna), those who (Ellaziina) believe (Aamanu'), and then (Thumma) disbelieve 1 (Kafaru'), then (Thumma) believe (Kafaru'), and then (Thumma) disbelieve 2 (Kafaru'), and then (Thumma) increase (Az'daadu) in disbelief 3 (Kuf'ran), GOD (Ellahu) will not have (Lam' Yakuni) to (Li) forgive them (Yag'fira Lahum'), nor (Walaa) will (Li) HE guide them (Yah'diya-hum') to a way (Sabiila). (3:90)
4:138  Announce to (Basshiri Bi-) the hypocrites (El'Munaafiqiina) that (-anna) they will have (Lahum') a painful (Aliimaa) punishment (Äzaaban).
4:139  The ones who (Ellaziina) have taken (Yattakhizuuna) disbelievers (El'Kaafiriina) as allies (Aw'liyaa'a) other than (Min Duuni) the believers (El'Mu'miniina). Do they seek (A'yab'taguuna) glory (El'Ezzata) with them (Endahumu)? For (Fa) indeed (Inna), all (Jamiiää) glory (10:65) (El'Ezzata) belongs to GOD (Lillahi).
4:140  And (Wa) it has (Qad) been revealed (Nazzala) to you (p) (Älai'kum) in (Fii) the Book (El'Kitaabi) that (An') whenever (Izaa) you hear (Sami'tum') the verses of GOD (Aayaati-llahi) being blasphemed (Yuk'faru Bihaa) and humiliated (Yus'tah'zau Bihaa); then (Fa) do not (Laa) sit (Taq'udu') with them (the hypocrites) (Maähum') until (Hattaa) they engage (Yakhuuduu') in (Fii) another discussion (Hadiithin) other than it (Gai'rihi). Otherwise, you (p) (Innakum') would then (Izan) be like them (Mith'lu-hum). Indeed, GOD (Innallaha) will gather (Jaamiu) the hypocrites (El'Munaafiqiina) and the disbelievers (Wal' Kaafiriina) all together (Jamii'ää) in (Fii) Hell (Jahannama).
4:141  The ones who (Ellaziina) are waiting (Yatarabbasuuna) for you (Bikum'); then (Fa) if (In) there is (Kaana) a conquest (Fat'hun) for you (Lakum') from GOD (Minallahi), they say (Qaaluu'), "Were we (Nakun) not (Alam') with you (Maäkum')?" But (Wa) if (In) there is (Kaana) a share (Nasiibun) for the disbelievers (Lil' Kaafiriina), they say (Qaaluu'), "Did we not (Alam') overwhelm (Nas'tah'wiz') for you (Älai'kum') and (Wa) prevented you (Nam'na'kum) against (Mina) the believers (El'Mu'miniina)?" Therefore (Fa) GOD (Ellahu) will judge (Yah'kumu) between you (Bai'nakum') on the Day of Resurrection (Yaw'mal' Qiyaamati), and (Wa) GOD (Ellahu) will never (Lan) grant (Yaj'äla) the disbelievers (Lil' Kaafiriina) a way (Sabiila) against (Älaa) the believers (El'Mu'miniina).
4:142  Indeed (Inna), the hypocrites (El'Munaafiqiina) are deceiving GOD (Yukhaadiuuna-llaha), while (Wa) HE (Huwa) is deceiving them (Khaadiu-hum'). And (Wa) when (Izaa) they get up (Qaamuu') for (ilaa) the Litany (Es'Solaati), they get up (Qaamu') lazily (Kusaalaa) to show (Yuraauuna) the people (En'Naasa), and they do not (Walaa) commemorate GOD (Yaz'kuruuna-llaha) except (illa) a little (Qaliilaa),
4:143  wavering (Muzab'zabiina) in between (Bai'na Zaalika), neither (Laa) belonging to (ilaa) these (Haaulaai) nor (Walaa) to (ilaa) those (Haaulaai). And (Wa) whomever (Man) GOD sends astray (Yud'lili-llahu), then (Fa) you will never (Lan) find (Tajida) a way (Sabiilaa) for him (Lahu).
4:144  O you (Yaa Ayyuha) who (Ellaziina) believe (Aamanu'), do not (Laa) take (Tattakhizu) disbelievers (El'Kaafiriina) as allies (Aw'liyaa'a) other than (Min Duuni) the believers (El'Mu'miniina). Do you intend (Aturiiduuna) to (An) grant GOD (Taj'älu' Lillahi) a clear (Mubiinan) authority (Sul'toanan) against you (Älai'kum')?
4:145  Indeed (Inna), the hypocrites (El'Munaafiqiina) will be in (Fii) the lowest (El'As'fali) level (Ed'Dar'ki) of (Mina) the Fire (En'Naari), and (Wa) you will never (Lan) find (Tajidala-hum') a helper (Nasiiraa) for them (Lahum'),
4:146  except (illa) those who (Ellaziina) repent 1 (Taabu'), reform 2 (As'lahu'), stick to GOD 3 (E'tasomu' Bi-llahi), and (Wa) dedicate (Akh'lasu') their religion (Diina-hum') to GOD 4 (Lillahi), then (Fa) those (U'laaika) will be with (Maä) the believers (El'Mu'miniina). And (Wa) GOD (Ellahu) will (Saw'fa) give (Yu'ti) the believers (El'Mu'miniina) a great (Äziimaa) reward (Aj'ran).
4:147  What (Maa) would GOD do (Yaf'älu-llahu) with (Bi) punishing you (p) (Äzaabi-kum'); if (In) you are grateful (Shakar'tum') and (Wa) believe (Aamantum')? And (Wa) GOD (Ellahu) is (Kaana) Grateful (Shaakiran) and Omniscient (Äliimaa). (2:186)
4:148  GOD (Ellahu) does not (Laa) like (Yuhibbu) the loudness (El'Jah'ra) of (Mina) speech (El'Qaw'li) with (Bi) evil (Es'Suui) except (illa) one who (Man) has been wronged (Zulima). And (Wa) GOD (Ellahu) is (Kaana) Hearing (Samiiän) and Omniscient (Äliimaa).
4:149  If (In) you manifest (Tub'du') goodness (Khai'ran) or (Aw') conceal it (Tukh'fuu-hu) or (Aw') pardon (Ta'fu' Än) an evil (Suuin), then (Fa) indeed, GOD (Innallaha) is (Kaana) Pardoning (Äfuwwan) and Omnipotent (Qadiiraa).
4:150  Indeed (Inna), there are those who (Ellaziina) disbelieve (Yak'furuuna) in GOD (Billahi) and (Wa) HIS messengers (Rusuli-hi) and (Wa) wish (Yuriiduuna) to (An) differentiate (Yufarriqu') between GOD (Bai'nallahi) and (Wa) HIS messengers (Rusuli-hi), and (Wa) they say (Yaquuluuna), "We believe (Nu'minu) in (Bi) some (Ba'din) and (Wa) disbelieve (Nak'furu) in (Bi) some (Ba'din)," and (Wa) they wish (Yuriidu) to (An) adopt (Yattakhizu') a way (Sabiilaa) in between (Bai'na Zaalika);
4:151  those (U'laaika) are (Humu) the true (Haqqan) disbelievers (El'Kaafiruuna). And (Wa) We have prepared (A'tad'na) a humiliating (Muhiinaa) punishment (Äzaaban) for the disbelievers (Lil' Kaafiriina).
4:152  As for (Wa) those who (Ellaziina) believe (Aamanu') in GOD (Billahi) and (Wa) HIS messengers (Rusuli-hi) and do not (Walam') differentiate (Yufarriqu') between (Bai'na) any of them (Ahadin Min'hum); those (U'laaika) will be (Saw'fa) given (Yu'tii-him) their reward (Ujuura-hum). For (Wa) GOD (Ellahu) is (Kaana) Forgiving (Gafuuran) and Merciful (Rahiimaa).
4:153  The People of the Book (Ah'lul' Kitaabi) ask you (s) (Yas'alu-ka) to (An) bring down (Tunazzila) to them (Älai’him’) a book (6:7) (Kitaaban) from (Mina) the sky (Es'Samaai), but (Fa) they had already (Qad') asked (Sa'alu') Moses (Muusaa) greater (Ak'bara) than (Min) that (Zaalika) when (Fa) they said (Qaaluu'), "Show us (Ari-naa) GOD (Ellaha) publicly (Jah'ratan)," so (Fa) the thunderbolt (Es'Soaeqatu) seized them (Akhazat'humu) for (Bi) their wrongdoing (Zul'mi-him'). Then (Thumma) they took (Ettakhazu) the calf (El'Ej'la) after (Min Ba'di) what (Maa) had come to them (Jaa'at'humu) of proofs (El'Bayyinaatu), but (Fa) We overlooked (Äfaw'naa Än) that (Zaalika). And (Wa) We gave (Aatai'naa) Moses (Muusaa) a clear (Mubiinaa) authority (Sul'toanan).
4:154  And (Wa) We raised (Rafa'naa) the mount (Ettuura) above them (Faw'qahumu) for (Bi) their covenant (Miithaaqi-him'), and (Wa) We said (Qul'naa) to them (Lahumu), "Enter (Ed'khulu') the gate (El'Baaba) in obeisance (Sujjadan)," and (Wa) We said (Qul'naa) to them (Lahum'), "Do not (Laa) trespass (Ta'du') on (Fii) the Sabbath (2:65) (Es'Sab'ti)," and (Wa) We took (Akhaz'naa) a heavy (Galiizoa) covenant (Miithaaqan) from them (Min'hum), (7:161)
4:155  because of what (Fabimaa) they violated (Naq'di-him) of their covenant (Miithaaqa-hum') and (Wa) their disbelief (Kuf'ri-him) in (Bi) the verses of GOD (Aayaati-llahi) and (Wa) their killing (Qat'li-himu) of the prophets (El'Anbiyaa'a) without (Bi-Gairi) right (Haqqin) and (Wa) their saying (Qaw'li-him'), "Our hearts (Quluubu-naa) are enveloped (Gul'fu)!" Rather (Bal'), GOD (Ellahu) has sealed them (the hearts) (Tobaä Älai'haa) for (Bi) their disbelief (Kuf'ri-him), so (Fa) they do not (Laa) believe (Yu'minuuna) except (illa) a little (Qaliilaa).
4:156  And (Wa) for (Bi) their disbelief (Kuf'ri-him') and (Wa) their saying (Qaw'li-him') of a terrible (Äziimaa) slander (Buh'taanan) against (Älaa) Mary (3:42) (Mar'yama),
4:157  and (Wa) their saying (Qaw'li-him'), "Indeed (Innaa), we have killed (Qatal'naa) the Messiah (El'Masiiha), Jesus (Eesa), the son (Eb'na) of Mary (Mar'yama), the messenger of GOD (Rasuula-llahi)." While (Wa) they did not (Maa) kill him (Qataluu-hu), nor (Wamaa) did they crucify him (Solabuu-hu); but (Walaakin) it was a resemblance (Shubbiha) for them (Lahum'). Indeed (Inna), those who (Ellaziina) differed (Ekh'talafu') about it (Fiihi) are in (Lafii) doubt (Shakkin) thereof (Min'hu). They have (Lahum) no (Maa Min') knowledge (il'min) about it (Bihi), they only (illa) follow (Ettibaa'ä) assumption (Ez'Zonni). For (Wa) they did not (Maa) kill him (Qataluu-hu), certainly (for sure) (Yaqiina).
4:158  In fact (Bal), GOD (Ellahu) raised him (3:55) (Rafaä-hu) to HIM (ilai'hi). For (Wa) GOD (Ellahu) is Almighty (Äziizan) and Wise (Hakiimaa).
4:159  And (Wa) some of (Min') the People of the Book (Ah'lil' Kitaabi) were only (In illa) to have (La) believed (Yu'minanna) in him (Bihi) before (Qab'la) his death (Maw'ti-hi). And (Wa) on the Day of Resurrection (Yaw'mal' Qiyaamati) he (Jesus) will be (Yakuunu) a witness (5:116-118) (Shahiidan) against them (Älai'him').
4:160  And (Fa) for (Bi) wrongdoing (Zul'min) of (Mina) those who (Ellaziina) are Jewish (Haadu'), We outlawed (Harram'naa) for them (Älai'him') good things (Toyyibaatin) which had been lawful (Uhillat') for them (Lahum'), and (Wa) for (Bi) their diverting (Soddi-him') of many (Kathiiraa) from (Än) the way of GOD (Sabiili-llahi).
4:161  And (Wa) their taking (Akh'zi-himu) of usury (2:278) (Er'Ribaa') while (Wa) they had been (Qad') forbidden from it (Nuhu' Än'hu), and (Wa) their consuming (Ak'li-him') of people's (Am'waala) wealth (En'Naasi) with (Bi) falsehood (El'Baatili). And (Wa) We have prepared (A'tad'naa) for the disbelievers (Lil' Kaafiriin) among them (Min'hum') a painful (Aliimaa) punishment (Äzaaban).
4:162  But (Laakiini) the deeply rooted (Er'Raasikhuuna) in (Fii) the knowledge (El' il'mi) among them (Min'hum') and the believers (Wal' Mu'minuuna) believe (Yu'minuuna) in what (Bimaa) has been revealed (Unzila) to you (Mohammed) (ilai'ka) and what (Wamaa) was revealed (Unzila) before you (s) (Min Qab'li-ka), and so do (Wa) the establishers (El'Muqiimiina) of the Litany (Es'Solaata) and the givers (Wal' Mu'tuuna) of the Charity (Ez'Zakaata) as well as (Wa) the believers (El'Mu'minuuna) in GOD (Billahi) and (Wa) the Last Day (El'Yaw'mil' Aakhiri); those (U'laaika) are the ones whom (-him') We will give (Sa Nu'tii-) a great (Äziimaa) reward (Aj'ran).
4:163  Indeed (Innaa), We have inspired (Aw'hai'naa) to you (s) (ilai'ka), as (Kamaa) We inspired (Aw'hai'naa) to (ilaa) Noah (Nuuhin) and (Wa) the prophets (En'Nabiyyiina) after him (Min Ba'di-hi); and We inspired (Aw'hai'naa) to (ilaa) Abraham (Ib'raahiima), Ishmael (Is'maa'iila), Isaac (Is'haaqa), Jacob (Ya'quuba) and the grandsons (tribes) (Wal' As'baati), as well as (Wa) Jesus (Eesaa), Job (Ayyuuba), Jonah (Yuunusa), Aaron (Haaruuna) and (Wa) Solomon (Sulai'maana). And (Wa) We gave (Aatai'naa) David (Dawuuda) the Psalms (17:55) (Zabuuraa).
4:164  And (Wa) messengers (Rusulan) We have (Qad') narrated them (Qasos'naa-hum') to you (s) (Älai'ka) before (Min Qab'lu), and (Wa) messengers (Rusulan) We have not (Lam') narrated them (Naq'sus'hum') to you (40:78) (Älai'ka). And (Wa) GOD (Ellahu) spoke to (Kallama) Moses (Muusaa) by speech (Tak'liimaa).
4:165  Messengers (6:48) (Rusulan) as missionaries (Mubasshiriina) and (Wa) warners (Munziriina) so that mankind (Lin' Naasi) will not have (Li'alla Yakuuna) any argument (Hujjatu) against GOD (Älaallahi) after (Ba'da) the messengers (Er'Rusuli). And (Wa) GOD (Ellahu) is (Kaana) Almighty (Äziizan) and Wise (Hakiimaa).
4:166  But (Laakini) GOD (Ellahu) bears witness (Yash'hadu) to what (Bimaa) HE has revealed (Anzala) to you (s) (ilai'ka); HE revealed it (the Koran) (Anzala-hu) with (Bi) HIS knowledge (il'mi-hi), and so do (Wa) the Angels (El'Malaaikatu) bear witness (Yash'haduuna), but (Wa) sufficient is GOD (Kafaa Bi-llahi) as a Witness (Shahiidaa).
4:167  Indeed (Inna), those who (Ellaziina) disbelieve (Kafaru') and (Wa) turn away from (Soddu' Än) the way of GOD (Sabiili-llahi) have (Qad') strayed (Dollu') far (Baeedaa) astray (Dolaala).
4:168  Indeed (Inna), those who (Ellaziina) disbelieve (Kafaru') and (Wa) transgress (Zolamu'), GOD (Ellahu) will not (Lam') have (Yakuni) to (Li) forgive them (Yag'fira La-hum'), nor (Walaa) will (Li) HE guide them (Yah'diya-hum') to a path (Toriiqaa);
4:169  except (illa) the path (Toriiqa) of Hell (Jahannama), eternally (Khaalidiina) therein (Fiihaa) forever (Abadan); and (Wa) that (Zaalika) is (Kaana) easy (Yasiiraa) for GOD (Älaallahi).
4:170  O you (Yaa Ayyuha) mankind (En'Naasu), the Messenger (Er'Rasuulu) has (Qad') come to you (Jaa'a-kumu) with the truth (47:2) (Bil' Haqqi) from (Min) your LORD (Rabbi-kum'), so (Fa) believe (Aaminu'); it is better (Khai'ran) for you (Lakum'), but (Wa) if (In) you disbelieve (Tak'furu'), then (Fa) indeed (Inna), to GOD belongs (Lillahi) whatever (Maa) is in (Fii) the heavens (Es'Samaawaati) and (Wa) the earth (El'Ar'di). And (Wa) GOD (Ellahu) is (Kaana) Omniscient (Äliiman) and Wise (Hakiimaa).
4:171  O (Yaa) People of the Book (Ah'lal' Kitaabi), do not (Laa) trespass (Tag'lu') in (Fii) your religion (Diini-kum'), nor (Walaa) say (Taquulu') about GOD (Älaallahi) except (illa) the truth (El'Haqqa). The Messiah (El'Masiihu), Jesus (Eesa), the son (Eb'nu) of Mary (Mar'yama) was only (Innama) a messenger of GOD (Rasuulu-llahi) and (Wa) HIS word (Kalimatu-hu) which HE delievered (Al'qaa-haa) to (ilaa) Mary (Mar'yama) as (Wa) a spirit (Ruuhun) from HIM (Min'hu). So (Fa) believe (Aaminu') in GOD (Billahi) and (Wa) HIS messengers (Rasuuli-hi), and do not (Walaa) say (Taquulu'), "Trinity (Thalaathatun)," to refrain (Entahu') is better (Khai'ran) for you (Lakum'). GOD (Ellahu) is only (Innamaa) One (Waahidun) God (ilaahu); glory be to HIM (Sub'haana-hu) that (An) HE should have (Yakuuna Lahu) a son (19:35) (Waladun), to HIM belongs (Lahu) whatever (Maa) is in (Fii) the heavens (Es'Samaawaati) and whatever (Wamaa) is on earth (Fiil' Ar'di). And (Wa) sufficient is GOD (Kafaa Bi-llahi) as a Representative (Wakiilaa).
4:172  The Messiah (5:75) (El'Masiihu) would never (Lan) disdain (Yastankifa) from (An) being (Yakuuna) a servant (Äb'dan) to GOD (Lillahi), nor (Walaa) would the nearby (El'Muqarrabuuna) Angels (El'Malaaikatu). And (Wa) whoever (Man) disdains (Yas'tankif') from (Än') worshipping HIM (Ebaadati-hi) and (Wa) becomes arrogant (Yas'tak'bir'), then (Fa) HE will assemble them (Sa Yah'shuru-hum') to HIM (ilai'hi) all together (Jamiiää).
4:173  And (Fa) as for (Amma) those who (Ellaziina) believed (Aamanu') and (Wa) did (Ämilu') good deeds (Es'Soalihaati), thus (Fa) HE will fulfil their (Yuwaffii-him') rewards to them (Ujuura-hum') and (Wa) augment them (Yaziidu-hum) from (Min) HIS favour (Fad'li-hi). But (Wa) as for (Ammaa) those who (Ellaziina) disdained (Es'tankafu') and (Wa) became arrogant (Es'tak'baru'), thus (Fa) HE (God) will punish them (Yuäzzibu-hum') with a painful (Aliiman) punishment (Äzaaban), and (Wa) they will not (Laa) find (Yajiduuna) for themselves (Lahum) any guardian (Waliyyan) nor (Walaa) helper (Nasiiraa) besides GOD (Min Duuni-llahi).
4:174  O you (Yaa Ayyuha) mankind (En'Naasu), a proof (Bur'haanun) has (Qad') come to you (Jaa'a-kum) from (Min) your LORD (Rabbi-kum'), and (Wa) We have revealed (Anzal'naa) to you (ilai'kum') a clear (Mubiinaa) light (Nuuran). (23:117)
4:175  As for (Fa Amma) those who (Ellaziina) believe (Aamanu') in GOD (Billahi) and (Wa) stick to HIM (E'tasomu' Bi-hi); thence (Fa) HE will admit them (Sa Yud'khilu-hum') into (Fii) mercy (Rah'matin) from HIM (Min'hu) and (Wa) favour (Fad'lin), and (Wa) will guide them (Yah'dii-him') to Himself (ilai'hi) on a straight (Mus'taqiimaa) path (Siraatoan).
4:176  They seek your legal opinion (s) (Yas'taf'tuunaka). Say (Quli): "GOD (Ellahu) opines you (p) (Yuf'tii-kum') regarding (Fii) one with no parents or children (single) (El'Kalaalati)." If (Ini) a man (Em'ru'un) perishes (Halaka), having (Lahu) no (Lai'sa) child (Waladun), but (Wa) has (Lahu) a sister (Ukh'tun), then (Fa) for her (Lahaa) is half (Nis'fu) of what (Maa) he bequeathed (Taraka). And (Wa) he (Huwa) will inherit her (Yarithu-haa) if (In) she did (Yakun) not (Lam') have (Lahaa) a child (Waladun). But (Fa) if (In) there are (Kaanataa) two females (Eth'natai'ni), then (Fa) for them both (Lahumaa) are two-thirds (Etthuluthaani) of what (Mimmaa) he bequeathed (Taraka). And (Wa) if (In) the siblings (Ikh'watan) are men (Rijaalan) and (Wa) women (Nisaa'an), then (Fa) for the male (Liz' Zakari) is like (Mith'lu) the share (Hazzi) of two females (El'Unthayai'ni). GOD (Ellahu) clarifies (Yubayyinu) to you (Lakum'), lest (An) you go astray (Tadillu'); for (Wa) GOD (Ellahu) is aware of (Äliim Bi) all (Kulli) things (Shai'an).
