General Root Meaning
to cross, interpret, state clearly, pass over. i'tabara - to consider, ponder over, take into account, get experience from, take warming. abratun (pl. i'bar) - regard/consideration, admonition, warning, example, instructive warning. aabir (pl. aabiriina) - one who passes over. i'tabara - to take warning, learn a lesson.

12:43
And said the king, "Indeed, I [I] have seen seven cows fat, eating them seven lean ones, and seven ears (of corn) green, and others dry. O chiefs! Explain to me about my vision if you can of visions interpret."

  
ʿābirī   (1)

4:43
O you who believe[d]! (Do) not go near the prayer while you (are) intoxicated until you know what you are saying and not (when you are) impure except (when) passing (through) a way until you have bathed. And if you are ill or on a journey or came one of you from the toilet, or you have touched the women and not you find water, then do tayammum (with) earth clean and wipe (with it) your faces and your hands. Indeed, Allah is Oft-Pardoning, Oft-Forgiving.

  
ʿib'ratun   (1)

12:111
Verily, (there) is in their stories a lesson for men (of) understanding. Not (it) is a narration invented, but a confirmation (of that) which (from) between his hands and a detailed explanation (of) all things, and a guidance and mercy for a people who believe.

  
fa-iʿ'tabirū   (1)

59:2
He (is) the One Who expelled those who disbelieved from (the) People (of) the Scripture from their homes at (the) first gathering. Not you think that they would leave, and they thought that [they] would defend them their fortresses against Allah. But came to them Allah from where not they expected, and He cast into their hearts [the] terror, they destroyed their houses with their hands and the hands (of) the believers. So take a lesson, O those endowed (with) insight!

  
laʿib'ratan   (3)

16:66
And indeed, for you in the cattle (is) a lesson. We give you to drink from what (is) in their bellies, from between bowels and blood, milk pure, palatable to the drinkers.

3:13
Surely it was for you a sign in (the) two hosts which met - one group fighting in (the) way (of) Allah and another disbelievers. They were seeing them twice of them with the sight (of) their eyes. And Allah supports with His help whom He wills. Indeed, in that surely (is) a lesson for the owners (of) vision.

23:21
And indeed, for you in the cattle surely, (is) a lesson. We give you drink from what (is) in their bellies, and for you in them (are) benefits many and of them you eat.

79:26
Indeed, in that surely (is) a lesson for whoever fears.
