He said, "Would you perhaps - if prescribed upon you [the] fighting, that not you fight?" They said, "And what for us that not we fight in (the) way (of) Allah while surely we have been driven from our homes and our children?" Yet, when was prescribed upon them the fighting they turned away, except a few among them. And Allah (is) All-Knowing of the wrongdoers.

But will say those who were given the knowledge and the faith, "Verily you remained by (the) Decree (of) Allah until (the) Day (of) Resurrection. And this (is the) Day (of) the Resurrection but you were not knowing.

O mankind! If you are in doubt about the Resurrection, then indeed, We We created you from dust, then from a semen-drop then from a clinging substance then from an embryonic lump, formed and without form, that We may make clear to you. And We cause to remain in the wombs what We will for a term appointed, then We bring you out (as) a child, [then] that you may reach [your] maturity. And among you (is he) who dies, and among you (is he) who is returned to the most abject age, so that not he knows, from after having known, anything. And you see the earth barren then when We send down on it water, it gets stirred and it swells and grows of every kind beautiful.

And if they had wished (to) go forth, surely they (would) have prepa for it (some) preparation. But disliked Allah their being sent, so He made them lag behind and it was said, "Sit with those who sit."

And said to them their Prophet, "Indeed, Allah (has) surely raised for you Talut (as) a king." They said, How can be for him the kingship over us, while we (are) more entitled to kingship than him, and not he has been given abundance of [the] wealth?" He said, "Indeed, Allah has chosen him over you and increased him abundantly in [the] knowledge and [the] physique. And Allah gives His kingdom (to) whom He wills. And Allah (is) All-Encompassing, All-Knowing."

62:2
He (is) the One Who sent among the unlettered a Messenger from themselves reciting to them His Verses, and purifying them and teaching them the Book and the wisdom although they were from before surely in an error clear.

Then We sent from after them Musa with Our Signs to Firaun and his chiefs, But they were unjust to them. So see how was (the) end (of) the corrupters.

Then We sent from after him Messengers to their people, and they came to them with clear proofs. But not they were to believe what they had denied [it] from before. Thus We seal [on] the hearts (of) the transgressors.

Then We sent from after them Musa and Harun to Firaun and his chiefs with Our Signs, but they were arrogant and were a people criminal.

16:36
And certainly, We sent into every nation a Messenger, that, "Worship Allah, and avoid the false deities." Then among them (were some) whom guided, Allah and among them (were) some was justified on them the straying. So travel in the earth and see how was the end (of) the deniers.

Then We revived you from after your death, so that you may (be) grateful.

And similarly, We raised them that they might question among them. Said a speaker among them, "How long have you remained?" They said, "We have remained a day or a part (of) a day." They said, "Your Lord knows best how long you have remained. So send one of you with silver coin of yours this to the city, and let him see which is the purest food, and let him bring to you provision from it, and let him be cautious. And not make aware about you anyone."

Then We raised them up that We make evident which (of) the two parties best calculated for what (they had) remained (in) time.

Or like the one who passed by a township, and it (had) overturned on its roofs. He said, "How (will) bring to life this (town) Allah after its death?" Then he was made to die (by) Allah (for) a hundred year(s), then He raised him. He said, "How long (have) you remained?" He said, "I remained (for) a day or a part (of) a day." He said, "Nay, you (have) remained one hundred year(s). Then look at your food and your drink, (they did) not change with time, and look at your donkey, and We will make you a sign for the people. And look at the bones how We raise them, then We cover them (with) flesh." Then when became clear to him, he said, "I know that Allah (is) on every thing All-Powerful."

And they said, "Not it (is) except our life (of) the world and not we (will be) resurrected."

23:37
Not it (is) but our life (of) the world, we die and we live, and not we (will be) resurrected.

Then indeed, you (on the) Day (of) the Resurrection, will be resurrected.

And if you fear a dissension between (the) two of them, then send an arbitrator from his family and an arbitrator from her family. If they both wish reconciliation, will cause reconciliation Allah between both of them. Indeed, Allah is All-Knower, All-Aware.

Was mankind a community single, then raised up Allah [the] Prophets (as) bearers of glad tidings and (as) warners, and sent down with them the Book in [the] truth to judge between [the] people in what they differed [in it]. And (did) not differ[ed] in it except those who were given it from after [what] came to them the clear proofs, (out of) jealousy among themselves. And guided Allah those who believe[d] regarding what they differed [in it] of the Truth with His permission. And Allah guides whom He wills to a path straight.

5:31
Then sent Allah a crow, it (was) scratching in the earth to show him how to hide (the) dead body (of) his brother. He said, "Woe to me! Am I unable that I can be like this [the] crow and hide (the) dead body (of) my brother?" Then he became of the regretful.

And if We willed, surely, We (would) have raised in every town a warner.

They said, "What! When we are dead and become dust and bones, would we surely be resurrected?

And when declared your Lord that He would surely send upon them till (the) Day (of) the Resurrection (those) who would afflict them (with) a grievous [the] punishment. Indeed, your Lord (is) surely swift (in) the retribution, but indeed, He (is) surely Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

And He (is) the One Who created the heavens and the earth in six epochs, and was (his) throne on the water that He might test [you] which of you (is) best (in) deed. But if you say, "Indeed, you (will be) resurrected from after [the] death," surely would say those who disbelieved, "Not is this but a magic clear."

Do not think those that they (will be) resurrected,

Whoever (is) guided then only he is guided for his soul. And whoever goes astray then only he goes astray against it And not will bear one laden with burden, burden (of) another. And not We are to punish until, We have sent a Messenger.

And the Day We will resurrect from every nation a witness, then not will be permitted to those who disbelieved and not they will be asked to make amends.

And the Day We will resurrect among every nation a witness over them from themselves. And We (will) bring you (as) a witness over these. And We sent down to you the Book (as) a clarification of every thing and a guidance and mercy and glad tidings for the Muslims.

Our Lord! [And] raise up in them a Messenger from them (who) will recite to them Your Verses and will teach them the Book and the wisdom and purify them. Indeed You! You (are) the All-Mighty the All-Wise."

26:36
They said, "Postpone him and his brother, and send in the cities gatherers -

And certainly took Allah a Covenant (from the) Children (of) Israel and We appointed among them two (and) ten (i.e twelve) leaders. And said Allah, "Indeed, I (am) with you, if you establish the prayer and give the zakah and you believe in My Messengers and you assist them and you loan (to) Allah a loan goodly, surely I will remove from you your evil deeds and I will surely admit you (to) gardens flow from underneath them the rivers. But whoever disbelieved after that among you, then certainly he strayed (from) the way, the right.

And not was your Lord (the) one to destroy the towns until He (had) sent in their mother (town) a Messenger reciting to them Our Verses. And not We would be (the) one to destroy the towns except while their people (were) wrongdoers.

6:65
Say, "He (is) All-Capable [on] to send upon you punishment from above you or from beneath your feet or (to) confuse you (into) sects and make (you) taste - some of you violence (of) others." See how We explain the Signs so that they may understand.

40:34
And indeed, came to you Yusuf from before with clear proofs, but not you ceased in doubt about what he brought to you [with it], until when he died, you said, "Never will raise Allah from after him a Messenger." Thus, lets go astray Allah who [he] (is) a transgressor, a doubter."

72:7
And that they thought as you thought that never will raise Allah anyone.

And they swear by Allah strongest (of) their oaths, not will resurrect Allah (one) who dies. Nay, (it is) a promise upon Him (in) truth, but most (of) the mankind (do) not know.

And that the Hour will come, (there is) no doubt about it, and that Allah will resurrect (those) who (are) in the graves.
