Becoming idle, unoccupied or without work
Diverted from profitable enterprises (in this life or the next)
Jesting, joking or not serious in conversation
Becoming or being courageous, brave, strong hearted (in war or fight)
Pursuit of vain, frivolous diversion or sport, ignorant conduct
Iblees, Satan, devils or enchanters
One who says a thing in which there is no truth or reality, embellishing speech with lies.

29:67
Do not they see that We have made a Sanctuary secure while are being taken away the people from around them? Then do in (the) falsehood they believe and in (the) Favor (of) Allah they disbelieve?

16:72
And Allah (has) made for you from yourselves spouses, and has made for you from your spouses sons and grandsons and has provided for you from the good things. Then in falsehood do they believe, and the Favor of Allah they disbelieve?

  
l-bāṭila   (2)

47:3
That (is) because those who disbelieve follow falsehood and that those who believe follow (the) truth from their Lord. Thus presents Allah to the people their similitudes.

8:8
That He might justify the truth and prove false the falsehood, even if disliked (it) the criminals.

17:81
And say, "Has come the truth and perished the falsehood. Indeed, the falsehood is (bound) to perish."

Or (do) they say, "He has invented about Allah a lie?" But if willed Allah He would seal [over] your heart. And eliminates Allah the falsehood and establishes the truth by His Words. Indeed, He (is) All-Knowing of what (is in) the breasts.

That (is) because Allah, He (is) the Truth, and that what they call from besides Him (is) [the] falsehood, and that Allah, He (is) the Most High, the Most Great.

That (is), because Allah, He (is) the Truth, and that what they invoke from besides Him, it (is) the falsehood. And that Allah, He (is) the Most High, the Most Great.

17:81
And say, "Has come the truth and perished the falsehood. Indeed, the falsehood is (bound) to perish."

34:49
Say, "Has come the truth and not (can) originate the falsehood and not repeat."

Not comes to it the falsehood from (from) between his hands and not from behind it. A Revelation from (the) All-Wise, (the) Praiseworthy.

Or you say, "Only associated partners our forefathers from before (us) and we are descendants from after them. So will You destroy us for what did the falsifiers?"

And not (did) you recite from before it, any Book, and not (did) you write it with your right hand, in that case surely (would) have doubted the falsifiers.

And certainly We have sent Messengers from before you. Among them (are) who - We have related to you, and among them (are) who - not We have related to you. And not is for any Messenger that he brings a Sign except by (the) permission (of) Allah. So when comes (the) Command (of) Allah, it will be decided in truth, and will lose there the falsifiers.

45:27
And for Allah (is the) dominion (of) the heavens and the earth; and (the) Day is established the Hour, that Day will lose the falsifiers.

3:191
Those who remember Allah standing, and sitting and on their sides and they reflect on (the) creation (of) the heavens and the earth, "Our Lord, not You have created this (in) vain. Glory be to You, so save us (from the) punishment (of) the Fire.

38:27
And not We created the heaven and the earth and whatever (is) between them without purpose. That (is the) assumption (of) those who disbelieve. So woe to those who disbelieve, from the Fire.

40:5
Denied before them (the) people (of) Nuh and the factions from after them, and plotted every nation against their Messenger, to seize him, and they disputed by falsehood to refute thereby the truth. So I seized them. Then how was My penalty?

29:52
Say, "Sufficient is Allah between me and between you (as) a Witness. He knows what (is) in the heavens and the earth. And those who believe in [the] falsehood and disbelieve in Allah, those, they (are) the losers."

9:34
O you who believe! Indeed, many of the rabbis and the monks surely eat (the) wealth (of) the people in falsehood, and hinder from (the) way (of) Allah. And those who hoard the gold and the silver, and (do) not spend it in (the) way (of) Allah, [so] give them tidings of a punishment painful.

4:29
O you who believe[d]! (Do) not eat your wealth between yourselves unjustly. But that (there) be business on mutual consent among you. And (do) not kill yourselves. Indeed, Allah is to you Most Merciful.

2:42
And (do) not mix the Truth with [the] falsehood and conceal the Truth while you [you] know.

18:56
And not We send the Messengers except (as) bearers of glad tidings and (as) warners. And dispute those who disbelieve with falsehood, to refute thereby the truth. And they take My Verses and what they are warned (in) ridicule.

3:71
O People (of) the Book! Why do you mix the truth with the falsehood and conceal the truth while you know?

2:188
And (do) not eat your properties among yourselves wrongfully and present [with] it to the authorities so that you may eat a portion from (the) wealth (of) the people sinfully while you know.

4:161
And for their taking (of) [the] usury while certainly they were forbidden from it and (for) their consuming wealth (of) the people wrongfully. And We have prepared for the disbelievers among them a punishment painful.

O you who believe! Obey Allah and obey the Messenger, and (do) not make vain your deeds.

2:264
O you who believe[d]! (Do) not render in vain your charities with reminders (of it) or [the] hurt, like the one who spends his wealth (to) be seen (by) the people, and (does) not believe in Allah and the Day [the] Last. Then his example (is) like (that of a) smooth rock upon it (is) dust, then fell on it heavy rain, then left it bare. Not they have control on anything of what they (have) earned. And Allah (does) not guide the people [the] disbelieving.

Then when they (had) thrown, said Musa, "What you have brought [it] (is) the magic. Indeed, Allah will nullify it. Indeed, Allah (does) not amend the work (of) the corrupters.

And verily, We (have) set forth for mankind in this - [the] Quran of every example. But if you bring them a sign, surely will say those who disbelieve, "Not you (are) except falsifiers."

He sends down from the sky water and flows the valleys according to their measure, and carries the torrent a foam rising. And from what they heat [on] it in the fire in order to make ornaments or utensils, a foam like it. Thus sets forth Allah the truth and the falsehood. Then as for the foam it passes away (as) scum, and as for what benefits the mankind, remains in the earth. Thus sets forth Allah the examples.

Those (are) the ones who - (is) not for them in the Hereafter except the Fire. And (has) gone in vain what they did therein, and (is) worthless what they used (to) do.

Indeed these, destroyed (is) what they (are) in it and vain (is) what they used to do."
