Fa-Lam-Qaf
General Root Meaning
it became split/cleft/cloven/cracked, divided it lengthwise, fissure, longitudinal division, daybreak/dawn, uttered/performed what was admirable/wonderful, to strive/exert, become big/bulky/fat/plump, whole creation, all beings/things that are created, a piece/fragment broken off, the cleaver.

Say, "I seek refuge in (the) Lord (of) the dawn,

6:96
(He is the) Cleaver (of) the daybreak and He has made the night (for) rest and the sun and the moon (for) reckoning. That (is the) ordaining (of) the All-Mighty, the All-Knowing.

6:95
Indeed, Allah (is the) Cleaver (of) the grain and the date-seed. He brings forth the living from the dead and brings forth the dead from the living. That (is) Allah, so how are you deluded?

Then We inspired to Musa, [that] "Strike with your staff the sea." So it parted and became each part like the mountain [the] great.
