aghnāhumu   (1)

9:74
They swear by Allah nothing (that) they said , while certainly they said (the) word (of) the disbelief and disbelieved after their (pretense of) Islam, and planned [of] what not they could attain. And not they were resentful except that had enriched them Allah and His Messenger of His Bounty. So if they repent, it is better for them, and if they turn away, will punish them Allah (with) a punishment painful, in the world and (in) the Hereafter. And not for them in the earth any protector and not a helper.

And not We wronged them but they wronged themselves. So not availed them their gods which they invoked from other than Allah, any thing, when came (the) command (of) your Lord. And not they increased them other than ruin.

For the poor, those who are wrapped up in (the) way (of) Allah, not they are able (to) move about in the earth. Think (about) them, the ignorant one, (that they are) self-sufficien (because) of (their) restraint, you recognize them by their mark. Not (do) they ask the people with importunity. And whatever you spend of good, then indeed, Allah of it (is) All-Knower.

Certainly, heard Allah (the) saying (of) those who said, "Indeed Allah (is) poor while we (are) rich." We will record what they said and their killing the Prophets without (any) right, and We will say, "Taste (the) punishment (of) the Burning Fire."

Only the way (blame) (is) on those who ask your permission while they (are) rich. They (are) satisfied to be with those who stay behind, and sealed Allah [on] their hearts, so they (do) not know.

What restored Allah to His Messenger from (the) people (of) the towns, (it is) for Allah and His Messenger and for the kindred and the orphans and the needy and the wayfarer, that not it becomes a (perpetual) circulation between the rich among you. And whatever gives you the Messenger, take it and whatever he forbids you from it, refrain. And fear Allah. Indeed, Allah (is) severe (in) penalty.

O mankind! You (are) those in need of Allah, while Allah, He (is) Free of need the Praiseworthy.

Here you are - these, called to spend in (the) way (of) Allah - but among you (are some) who withhold, and whoever withholds, then only he withholds from himself. But Allah (is) Free of need, while you (are) the needy. And if you turn away He will replace you (with) a people other than you, then not they will be (the) likes of you.

57:24
Those who are stingy and enjoin (on) the people stinginess. And whoever turns away, then indeed, Allah, He (is) Free of need, the Praiseworthy.

60:6
Certainly, (there) is for you in them an example good for (he) who (there) is hope (in) Allah and the Day the Last. And whoever turns away, then indeed, Allah, He, (is) Free of need, the Praiseworthy.

6:133
And your Lord (is) the Self-Sufficient Posssessor (of) the Mercy. If He wills He can take you away and grant succession from after you (to) whom He wills. as He raised you from the descendants (of) people other.

10:68
They say, "Has taken Allah a son." Glory be to Him! He (is) the Self-sufficient. To Him (belongs) whatever (is) in the heavens and whatever (is) in the earth. Not you have any authority for this. Do you say about Allah what not you know?

Only (the) example (of) the life (of) the world (is) like (the) water which We sent down from the sky, so absorbs [with] it, (the) plants (of) the earth from which eat the men and the cattle, until when takes the earth its adornment and is beautified and think its people that they have the power over it, comes (to) it Our command (by) night or (by) day, and We make it a harvest clean-mown, as if not it had flourished yesterday. Thus We explain the Signs for a people who reflect.

Verily, helped you Allah in regions many, and (on the) day (of) Hunain, when pleased you your multitude, but not availed you anything and (was) straitened for you the earth (in spite) of (what) its vastness, then you turned back, fleeing.

Should I take from besides Him gods? If intends for me the Most Gracious any harm not will avail [from] me their intercession (in) anything, and not they (can) save me.

If you ask for victory then certainly has come to you the victory. And if you desist, then it (is) good for you, but if you return, We will return (too). And never will avail you your forces anything, even if (they are) numerous. And that Allah (is) with the believers.

Never will avail them their wealth and not their children against Allah (in) anything. Those (will be) companions (of) the Fire, they, in it, will abide forever.

A word kind and (seeking) forgiveness (are) better than a charity followed [it] (by) hurt. And Allah (is) All-Sufficient, All-Forbearing.

3:97
In it (are) signs clear, standing place (of) Ibrahim, and whoever enters it - is safe. And (due) to Allah upon the mankind (is) pilgrimage (of) the House (for one) who is able to [it] (find) a way. And whoever disbelieved then indeed, Allah (is) free from need of the universe.

39:7
If you disbelieve then indeed, Allah (is) free from need of you. And not He likes in His slaves ungratefulness. And if you are grateful He likes it in you. And not will bear bearer of burdens (the) burden (of) another. Then to your Lord (is) your return, then He will inform you about what you used to do. Indeed, He (is) the All-Knower of what (is in) the breasts.

31:12
And verily, We gave Luqman the wisdom that, "Be grateful to Allah." And whoever (is) grateful then only he is grateful for himself. And whoever (is) ungrateful, then indeed, Allah (is) Free of need, Praiseworthy.

2:267
O you who believe[d]! Spend from (the) good things that you have earned and whatever We brought forth for you from the earth. And (do) not aim (at) the bad of it, you spend, while you (would) not take it except [that] (with) close(d) eyes [in it], and know that Allah (is) Self-Sufficient, Praiseworthy.

27:40
Said one who, with him (was) knowledge of the Scripture, "I will bring to you it before [that] returns to you your glance." Then when he saw it placed before him, he said, "This (is) from (the) Favor (of) my Lord, to test me whether I am grateful or I am ungrateful. And whoever (is) grateful then only he is grateful for his own soul. And whoever (is) ungrateful, then indeed, my Lord (is) Self-sufficient, Noble."

64:6
That (is) because had come to them their Messengers with clear proofs, but they said, "Shall human beings guide us?" So they disbelieved and turned away. And can do without them Allah. And Allah (is) Self-sufficient, Praiseworthy.

And for Allah (is) whatever (is) in the heavens and whatever (is) in the earth. And surely We have instructed those who were given the Book from before you and yourselves that you fear Allah. But if you disbelieve - then indeed for Allah (is) whatever (is) in the heavens and whatever (is) in the earth. And is Allah Free of need, Praiseworthy.

4:6
And test the orphans until [when] they reach[ed] (the age of) marriage, then if you perceive in them sound judgement then deliver to them their wealth. And (do) not eat it extravagantly and hastily (fearing) that they will grow up. And whoever is rich then he should refrain, and whoever is poor then let him eat (of it) in a fair manner. Then when you deliver to them their wealth then take witnesses on them. And is sufficient Allah (as) a Reckoner.

4:135
O you who believe[d]! Be custodians of justice (as) witnesses to Allah, even if (it is) against yourselves or the parents and the relatives. if he be rich or poor, for Allah (is) nearer to both of them. So (do) not follow the desire lest you deviate. And if you distort or refrain, then indeed, Allah is of what you do All-Aware.

And whoever strives then only he strives for himself. Indeed, Allah (is) Free from need of the worlds.

And they will come forth before Allah all together, then will say the weak to those who were arrogant, "Indeed we, we were your followers, so can you (be) the one who avails us from (the) punishment (of) Allah from anything?" They will say, "If had guided us Allah surely we would have guided (It is) same for us whether we show intolerance or we are patient, not (is) for us any place of escape."

And let be chaste those who (do) not find (means for) marriage until enriches them Allah from His Bounty. And those who seek the writing from (those) whom possess your right hands, then give them (the) writing if you know in them any good and give them from the wealth (of) Allah which He has given you. And (do) not compel your slave girls to [the] prostitution, if they desire chastity that you may seek temporary gain (of) the life (of) the world. And whoever compels them, then indeed, Allah from after their compulsion (is) Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.
