Haa-Ya-Sad
General Root Meaning
To escape, deviate, turn away from, shun, retire or go back from something, act towards a person with artifice or guile, to vie/compete with someone, strive to overcome someone.
  
maḥīṣin   (2)

14:21
And they will come forth before Allah all together, then will say the weak to those who were arrogant, "Indeed we, we were your followers, so can you (be) the one who avails us from (the) punishment (of) Allah from anything?" They will say, "If had guided us Allah surely we would have guided (It is) same for us whether we show intolerance or we are patient, not (is) for us any place of escape."

41:48
And lost from them what they were invoking from before, and they (will) be certain (that) not for them any place of escape.

50:36
And how many We destroyed before them of a generation, they (were) stronger than them (in) power. so they explored throughout the lands. Is (there) any place of escape?

And may know those who dispute concerning Our Signs (that) not for them any place of refuge.
