Jiim-Thal-Thal
General Root Meaning
To cut or cut off, to cut utterly and quickly, cut into many pieces, exterminate, to break into pieces or fragments, to seperate, to hasten to a thing.
  
judhādhan   (1)

21:58
So he made them (into) pieces except a large (one) of them, so that they may to it return.

11:108
And as for those who were glad then (they will be) in Paradise, (will be) abiding therein from as long as remains the heavens and the earth, except from what wills your Lord- a bestowal not interrupted.
