To be hard, be grievous, grow up, be great/large/big, to attain to puberty, grow in estimation or rank or dignity, to make a thing great, dispute/contend with someone for superiority in greatness, to self-magnify, behave proudly/haughtily/insolently, consider oneself excellent, to exceed the actions of others, to boast, endeavour or seek to become great, disdain a thing, turn away from a thing with disdain, to hold oneself above a thing.
Kabira/Yakburu: To be exceed anyone in age, become stout and tall, grow big, become great, illustrious, become momentous (affair).

And not you are [in] any situation, and not you recite of it from (the) Quran and not you do any deed except We are over you witnesses when you are engaged in it. And not escapes from your Lord of (the) weight (of) an atom in the earth, and not in the heavens and not smaller than that and not greater but (is) in a Record clear.

They ask you about the month [the] sacred - (concerning) fighting in it. Say, "Fighting therein (is) a great (sin); but hindering (people) from (the) way (of) Allah, and disbelief in Him and (preventing access to) Al- Al-Haraam, and driving out its people from it, (is) greater (sin) near Allah. And [the] oppression (is) greater than [the] killing." And not they will cease (to) fight with you until they turn you away from your religion, if they are able. And whoever turns away among you from his religion, then dies while he (is) a disbeliever for those became worthless their deeds in the world and the Hereafter. And those (are) companions (of) the Fire, they in it (will) abide forever.

2:219
They ask you about [the] intoxicants and [the] games of chance Say, "In both of them (is) a sin great, and (some) benefits for [the] people. But sin of both of them (is) greater than (the) benefit of (the) two." And they ask you what they (should) spend. Say, "The surplus." Thus makes clear Allah to you [the] Verses so that you may ponder,

3:118
O you who believe[d]! (Do) not take (as) intimates from other than yourselves, not they will spare you (any) ruin. They wish what distresses you. Indeed, (has become) apparent the hatred from their mouths, and what conceals their breasts (is) greater. Certainly We made clear for you the Verses, if you were (to use) reason.

9:72
has promised Allah the believing men and the believing women Gardens, flow from underneath it the rivers (will) abide forever in it and dwellings blessed in Gardens (of) everlasting bliss. But the pleasure of Allah (is) greater. That, it (is) the success great.

16:41
And those who emigrated in (the way) (of) Allah from after [what] they were wronged, surely We will give them posit in the world good, but surely the reward (of) the Hereafter (is) greater, if they know.

See how We preferred some of them over others. And surely the Hereafter (is) greater (in) degrees and greater (in) excellence.

So made them Allah the disgrace in the life (of) the world, and certainly (the) punishment (of) the Hereafter (is) greater, if they knew.

Surely, (the) creation (of) the heavens and the earth (is) greater than (the) creation (of) the mankind, but most (of) the people (do) not know.

Such (is) the punishment. And surely the punishment (of) the Hereafter (is) greater, if they know.

Do you truly testify that with Allah (there are) gods other?" Say, "Not (do) I testify." Say, "Only He (is) God One, and indeed, I am free of what you associate (with Him).

29:45
Recite what has been revealed to you of the Book, and establish the prayer. Indeed, the prayer prevents from the immorality and evil deeds, and surely (the) remembrance (of) Allah (is) greatest. And Allah knows what you do.

40:10
Indeed, those who disbelieved will be cried out to them, "Certainly hatred Allah (was) greater than your hatred (of) yourselves when you were called to the faith, and you disbelieved

And not We showed them of a Sign but it (was) greater than its sister, and We seized them with the punishment so that they may return.

And indeed, I every time, I invited them that You may forgive them, they put their fingers in their ears and covered themselves (with) their garments and persisted and were arrogant (with) pride.

But if they are arrogant, then those who (are) near your Lord, glorify Him by night and day. And they (do) not tire.

And said those who (do) not expect (the) meeting with Us, "Why not are sent down to us the Angels or we see our Lord?" Indeed, they have become arrogant within themselves and (become) insolent (with) insolence great.

7:75
Said the chiefs (of) those who were arrogant among his people to those who were oppressed - [to] those who believed among them, "Do you know that Salih (is the) one sent from his Lord?" They said, "Indeed, we in what he has been sent with [it] (are) believers."

7:76
Said those who were arrogant, "Indeed we, in that which you believe in it (are) disbelievers."

7:88
Said the chiefs (of) those who were arrogant among his people, "We will surely drive you out O Shuaib! And those who (have) believed with you from our city, or you must return to our religion." He said, "Even if we are (the) ones who hate (it)?

14:21
And they will come forth before Allah all together, then will say the weak to those who were arrogant, "Indeed we, we were your followers, so can you (be) the one who avails us from (the) punishment (of) Allah from anything?" They will say, "If had guided us Allah surely we would have guided (It is) same for us whether we show intolerance or we are patient, not (is) for us any place of escape."

34:31
And say those who disbelieve, "Never will we believe in this Quran and not in (that) which between hands (before it) But if you (could) see when the wrongdoers will be made to stand before their Lord, will throw back some of them to others the word. Will say those who were oppressed to those who were arrogant, "If not (for) you certainly we (would) have been believers."

34:32
Will say those who were arrogant to those who were oppressed, "Did we avert you from the guidance after when it had come to you? Nay, you were criminals."

34:33
And will say those who were oppressed to those who were arrogant, "Nay, (it was) a plot (by) night and (by) day when you were ordering us that we disbelieve in Allah and we set up for Him equals." But they will conceal the regret when they see the punishment. And We will put shackles on (the) necks (of) those who disbelieved. Will they be recompensed except (for) what they used to do?

40:47
And when they will dispute in the Fire, then will say the weak to those who were arrogant, "Indeed, we [we] were for you followers, so can you avert from us a portion of the Fire?"

Thus makes clear Allah for you (His) Signs so that you may ponder.

He said, "My Lord how can (there) be for me a son, and verily has reached me [the] old age and my wife (is) [a] barren?" He said, "Thus; Allah does what He wills."

He said, "Do you give glad tidings on (me) although has overtaken me old age? Then about what you give glad tidings?"

You will see the wrongdoers fearful of what they earned, and it (will) befall [on] them. And those who believe and do righteous deeds (will be) in flowering meadows (of) the Gardens, for them (is) whatever they wish with their Lord. That - it (is) the Bounty the Great.

85:11
Indeed, those who believe and do the righteous deeds, for them (will be) Gardens flow from underneath it the rivers. That (is) the success the great.

13:9
Knower (of) the unseen and the witnessed, the Most Great, the Most High.

22:62
That (is), because Allah, He (is) the Truth, and that what they invoke from besides Him, it (is) the falsehood. And that Allah, He (is) the Most High, the Most Great.

And (will) call out (the) companions (of) the heights (to) men whom they recognize by their marks saying, "Not (has) availed [to] you your gathering and what you were arrogant (about)."

And who (is) more unjust than (one) who invents about Allah a lie or said, "It has been inspired to me" while not it was inspired to him anything, and (one) who said, "I will reveal like what has revealed Allah." And if you (could) see when the wrongdoers (are) in agonies (of) [the] death while the Angels (are) stretching out their hands (saying), "Discharge your souls! Today you will be recompensed (with) punishment humiliating because you used to say against Allah other than the truth and you were towards His Verses being arrogant."

If you avoid great (sins) (of) what you are forbidden from [it], We will remove from you your evil deeds and We will admit you (to) an entrance noble.

And if is difficult for you their aversion then if you are able to seek a tunnel in the earth or a ladder into the sky so that you bring to them a Sign. But if (had) willed Allah surely He (would) have gathere on the guidance. So (do) not be of the ignorant.

61:3
Great is hatred with Allah that you say what not you do?

And recite to them the news (of) Nuh when he said to his people, "O my people! If is hard on you my stay and my reminding the Signs (of) Allah, then on Allah I put my trust. So you all resolve your plan and your partners. Then not let (there) be (in) your plan for you any doubt. Then carry (it out) upon me and (do) not give me respite.

42:13
He has ordained for you of the religion what He enjoined upon Nuh, and that which We have revealed to you, and what We enjoined upon Ibrahim and Musa and Isa. To establish the religion and not be divided therein. Is difficult on the polytheists what you call them to it. Allah chooses for Himself whom He wills, and guides to Himself whoever turns.

Indeed, those who dispute concerning (the) Signs (of) Allah without any authority (which) came to them, not (is) in their breasts but greatness, not they (can) reach it. So seek refuge in Allah. Indeed He, He (is) the All-Hearer the All-Seer.

Not they have about it any knowledge and not their forefathers. Mighty (is) the word (that) comes out of their mouths. Not they say except a lie.

And when he came (to the) water (of) Madyan, he found on it a group of men watering, and he found from besides them two women keeping back. He said, "What (is the) matter with both of y They said, "Not we can water until take away the shepherds; and our father (is) old man aged."

And We decreed for (the) Children (of) Israel in the Book, "Surely you will cause corrupt in the earth twice, and surely you will reach, haughtiness great."

Indeed, this, the Quran, guides to that which (is) most straight and gives glad tidings to the believers - those who do the righteous deeds, that for them (is) a reward great,

17:31
And (do) not kill your children (for) fear (of) poverty. We (We) provide for them and for you. Indeed, their killing is a sin great.

17:43
Glorified is He and Exalted is He above what they say (by) height great.

17:60
And when We said to you, "Indeed, your Lord has encompassed the mankind." And not We made the vision which We showed you except (as) a trial for mankind, and the tree the accursed in the Quran. And We threaten them but not it increases them except (in) transgression great.

17:87
Except a mercy from your Lord. Indeed, His Bounty is upon you great.

25:19
"So verily, they deny you in what you say, so not you are able (to) avert and not (to) help." And whoever does wrong among you, We will make him taste a punishment great.

25:21
And said those who (do) not expect (the) meeting with Us, "Why not are sent down to us the Angels or we see our Lord?" Indeed, they have become arrogant within themselves and (become) insolent (with) insolence great.

So (do) not obey the disbelievers and strive (against) them with it, a striving great.

Our Lord! Give them double [of] punishment and curse them (with) a curse great."

And when you look, then you will see blessings and a kingdom great.

O you who believe[d]! When you contract with one another any debt for a term fixed then write it. And let write between you a scribe in justice. And not (should) refuse a scribe that he writes as (has) taught him Allah. So let him write and let dictate the one on whom (is) the right and let him fear Allah, his Lord, and (let him) not diminish from it anything. Then if is the one on him (is) the right, (of) limited understanding, or weak, or not capable that (can) dictate he, then let dictate his guardian with justice. And call for evidence two witnesses among your men. And if not there are two men then one man and two women of whom you agree of [the] witnesses, (so) that (if) [she] errs, one of the two, then will remind one of the two the other. And not (should) refuse the witnesses when that they are called. And not (be) weary that you write it - small or large for its term. That (is) more just near Allah, and more upright for evidence and nearer that not you (have) doubt, except that be a transaction present, you carry out among you, then not on you any sin that not you write it. And take witness when you make commercial transactio And not (should) be harmed (the) scribe and not (the) witness, and if you do, then indeed it (is) sinful conduct for you, and fear Allah. And teaches Allah. And Allah of every thing (is) All-Knower.

4:34
[The] men (are) protectors of the women because (has) bestowed Allah some of them over others and because they spend from their wealth. So the righteous women (are) obedient, guarding in the unseen that which (orders) them to guard (by) Allah. And those (from) whom you fear their ill-conduct then advise them, and forsake them in the bed and [finally] strike them. Then if they obey you then (do) not seek against them a way. Indeed, Allah is Most High, Most Great.

And (will) be placed the Book and you will see the criminals fearful of what (is) in it, and they will say, "Oh, woe to us! What (is) for this [the] Book, not leaves a small and not a great except has enumerated it?" And they will find what they did presented. And not deals unjustly your Lord (with) anyone.

9:121
And not they spend any spending small and not big, and not they cross a valley but is recorded for them, that may reward them Allah the best (of) what they used (to) do.

So when they despaired of him, they secluded themselves (in) private consultation. Said the eldest among them, "Do not you know that your father, indeed has taken upon you a promise by Allah, and from before that you failed concerning Yusuf? So never will I leave the land until permits me my father or decides Allah for me, and He (is) the Best (of) the judges.

He said, "Nay, (some doer) did it. Their chief (is) this. So ask them if they (can) speak."

Will not reach Allah their meat and not their blood but reaches Him the piety from you. Thus He subjected them to you so that you may magnify Allah for what He has guided you. And give glad tidings (to) the good-doers.

And thus We made you a community (of the) middle way so that you will be witnesses over the mankind, and will be the Messenger on you a witness. And not We made the direction of prayer which you were used to [on it] except that We make evident (he) who follows the Messenger from (he) who turns back on his heels. And indeed, it was certainly a great (test) except for those whom guided (by) Allah. And not will Allah let go waste your faith. Indeed, Allah (is) to [the] mankind Full of Kindness, Most Merciful.

And seek help through patience and the prayer; and indeed, it (is) surely difficult except on the humble ones,

He said, "You believe [to] him before [that] I gave permission to you. Indeed, he (is) your chief, the one who taught you the magic. So surely I will cut off your hands and your feet of opposite sides, and surely I will crucify you on (the) trunks (of) date-palms and surely you will know which of us (is) more severe (in) punishment and more lasting."

And (on the) Day (of) the Resurrection you will see those who lied about Allah, their faces (will be) blackened. Is (there) not in Hell an abode for the arrogant?

Those who dispute concerning (the) Signs (of) Allah without any authority (having) come to them, (it) is greatly hateful near Allah and near those who believe. Thus sets a seal Allah over every heart (of) an arrogant tyrant."

Then as for those who believed and did the righteous deeds then He will give them in full their reward and give them more from His Bounty. And as for those who disdained and were arrogant then He will punish them (with) a punishment painful, and not they will find for themselves from besides Allah any protector and not any helper.

Indeed, those who (are) near your Lord, not (do) they turn away in pride from His worship. And they glorify Him and to Him they prostrate.

Only believe in Our Verses those who when they are reminded of them fall down prostrating and glorify (the) praises (of) their Lord, and they not are arrogant.

Surely you will find strongest (of) the people (in) enmity to those who believe, the Jews and those who (are) polytheists; and surely you will find nearest of them (in) affection to those who believe, those who say, "We (are) Christians." That (is) because among them (are) priests and monks, and that they (are) not arrogant.

And to Allah prostrate whatever (is) in the heavens and whatever (is) in the earth of moving creatures and the Angels, and they (are) not arrogant.

And (do) not eat it extravagantly and hastily (fearing) that they will grow up. And whoever is rich then he should refrain, and whoever is poor then let him eat (of it) in a fair manner. Then when you deliver to them their wealth then take witnesses on them. And is sufficient Allah (as) a Reckoner.
