General Root Meaning
Lowly/humble/submissive, still and low, to lower the eyes or voice, sink/nearly disappear in a setting place, be eclipsed/go away, become lean, whither/dry up, feign lowliness/humility in demeanour or voice or eyes, eject a thing, bow or bend down the head and body, be fearful.
  
l-khāshiʿīna   (1)

2:45
And seek help through patience and the prayer; and indeed, it (is) surely difficult except on the humble ones,

  
takhshaʿa   (1)

57:16
Has not come (the) time for those who believed that become humble their hearts at (the) remembrance (of) Allah and what has come down of the truth? And not they become like those who were given the Book from before, (and) was prolonged for them the term, so hardened their hearts; and many of them (are) defiantly disobedient.

If We (had) sent down this Quran on a mountain, surely you (would) have seen i humbled, breaking asunder from (the) fear (of) Allah. And these (are) the examples, We present them to the people so that they may give thought.

And indeed, among (the) People (of) the Book (are those) who believe in Allah and what was revealed to you and what was revealed to them - humbly submissive to Allah. Not (do) they exchange [with] (the) Verses (of) Allah (for) a price little. Those, for them, their reward (is) with their Lord. Indeed, Allah (is) swift (in taking) the account.

21:90
So We responded to him, and We bestowed on him Yahya, and We cured for him his wife. Indeed, they used (to) hasten in good deeds, and they supplicate to Us (in) hope and fear, and they were to Us humbly submissive.

Indeed, the Muslim men and the Muslim women, and the believing men and the believing women, and the obedient men and the obedient women, and the truthful men and the truthful women, and the patient men and the patient women, and the humble men and the humble women, and the men who give charity and the women who give charity and the men who fast and the women who fast, and the men who guard their chastity and the women who guard (it), and the men who remember Allah much and the women who remember has prepared Allah for them forgiveness and a reward great.

  
wakhashaʿati   (1)

20:108
On that Day they will follow the caller, no deviation from it. And (will be) humbled the voices for the Most Gracious, so not you will hear except a faint sound.
