To pass or pass by or pass beyond, proceed, go along or go through or go over, go away or pass away, to run or flow (namely water), go across a thing, come upon, overcome, make a thing bitter or displeasing, to drag a thing along, to twist or turn a thing in an attempt to throw it down, to go on in a continuous/constant manner or course, to be firm/resolute/determined/strong, firmly resist a thing, to murmur or grumble, to shake or quiver or quake, move to and fro or from side to side, to be in a state of commotion, overcome by bile.

Or like the one who passed by a township, and it (had) overturned on its roofs. He said, "How (will) bring to life this (town) Allah after its death?" Then he was made to die (by) Allah (for) a hundred year(s), then He raised him. He said, "How long (have) you remained?" He said, "I remained (for) a day or a part (of) a day." He said, "Nay, you (have) remained one hundred year(s). Then look at your food and your drink, (they did) not change with time, and look at your donkey, and We will make you a sign for the people. And look at the bones how We raise them, then We cover them (with) flesh." Then when became clear to him, he said, "I know that Allah (is) on every thing All-Powerful."

11:38
And he was constructing the ship, and every time passed by him (the) chiefs of his people, they ridiculed [of] him. He said, "If you ridicule us, then we can ridicule you as you ridicule.

O you who believe! Let ask your permission those whom possess your right hands and those who (have) not reached puberty among you (at) three times, from before (the) prayer (of) dawn, and when you put aside your garments at noon and from after (the) prayer (of) night. (These) three (are) times of privacy for you. Not on you and not on them any blame after that (as) moving about among you, some of you among others. Thus makes clear Allah for you the Verses, and Allah (is) All-Knower, All-Wise.

And indeed, We conferred a favor on you time another,

And We will turn their hearts and their sights (just) as not they believe in it (the) first time. And We will leave them in their transgression wandering blindly.
