9:46
And if they had wished (to) go forth, surely they (would) have prepa for it (some) preparation. But disliked Allah their being sent, so He made them lag behind and it was said, "Sit with those who sit."

Not (are) equal the ones who sit among the believers, other than the ones (who are) [the] disabled, and the ones who strive in (the) way (of) Allah with their wealth and their lives. And when was revealed a Surah that; believe in Allah and strive with His Messenger, ask your permission (the) men (of) wealth among them and said, "Leave us, (to) be with those who sit."

And when (was) raising Ibrahim the foundations of the House and Ismail, (saying), "Our Lord! Accept from us. Indeed You! [You] (are) the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing.

Verily, plotted those who (were) from before them, but came Allah (at) their building from the foundations, so fell upon them the roof from above them, and came to them the punishment from where not they (did) perceive.

Then if returns you Allah to a group of them, and they ask you permission to go out, then say, "Never will you come out with me ever and never will you fight with me any enemy. Indeed, you were satisfied with sitting (the) first time, so sit with those who stay behind."

9:81
Rejoice those who remained behind in their staying behind (the) Messenger (of) Allah, and they disliked to strive with their wealth and their lives in (the) way (of) Allah and they said, "(Do) not go forth in the heat." Say, "(The) Fire (of) Hell (is) more intense (in) heat." If (only) they could understand.

And when you see those who engage (in vain talks) about Our Verses, then turn away from them until they engage in a talk other than it. And if causes you to forget the Shaitaan, then (do) not sit after the reminder with the people - the wrongdoers.

And surely He has revealed to you in the Book that when you hear (the) Verses (of) Allah being rejected [it] and ridiculed at [it], then do not sit with them until they engage in a conversation other than that. Indeed, you then, (would be) like them. Indeed, Allah will gather the hypocrites and the disbelievers in Hell all together.

And (do) not sit on every path threatening and hindering from (the) way (of) Allah (those) who believe in Him, and seeking (to make) it crooked. And remember when you were few and He increased you. And see how was (the) end (of) the corrupters.

Those who said about their brothers while they sat, "If they (had) obeyed us not they would have been killed." Say, "Then avert from yourselves [the] death if you are truthful.

Those who remember Allah standing, and sitting and on their sides and they reflect on (the) creation (of) the heavens and the earth, "Our Lord, not You have created this (in) vain. Glory be to You, so save us (from the) punishment (of) the Fire.

Then when you (have) finished the prayer, then remember Allah standing and sitting and (lying) on your sides. But when you are secure then establish the (regular) prayer. Indeed, the prayer is on the believers prescribed (at) fixed times.
