l-qiṣāṣu   (1)

2:178
O you who believe[d]! Prescribed for you (is) the legal retribution in (the matter of) the murdered, the freeman for the freeman, and the slave for the slave, and the female for the female. But whoever is pardoned [for it] from his brother anything, then follows up with suitable [and] payment to him with kindness. That (is) a concession from your Lord and mercy. Then whoever transgresses after that, then for him (is) a punishment painful.

And for you in the legal retribution (is) life, O men (of) understanding! So that you may (become) righteous.

And if We willed surely, We (could) have raised with these [and] but he adhered to the earth and followed his (vain) desires. So his example (is) like (the) example (of) the dog, if you attack [on] him, he lolls out his tongue or if you leave him, he lolls out his tongue. That (is the) example (of) the people who denied [in] Our Signs. So relate the story so that they may reflect.

28:25
Then came to him one of the two women walking with shyness. She said, "Indeed, my father calls you, that he may reward you (the) reward (for) what you watered for us." So when he came to him and narrated to him the story, he said, "(Do) not fear. You have escaped from the people - the wrongdoers."

Indeed this, surely it (is) the narration - [the] true. And (there is) no (of) god except Allah. And indeed, Allah, surely He (is) the All-Mighty, the All-Wise.

We relate to you the best of the narrations in what We have revealed to you (of) this the Quran, although you were, from before it, surely among the unaware.

He said, "O my son! (Do) not relate your vision to your brothers lest they plan against you a plot. Indeed, the Shaitaan (is) to man an enemy open.

The month [the] sacred (is) for the month [the] sacred, and for all the violations (is) legal retribution. Then whoever transgressed upon you then you transgress on him in (the) same manner (as) he transgressed upon you. And fear Allah and know that Allah (is) with those who fear (Him).

5:45
And We ordained for them in it that - the life for the life, and the eye for the eye, and the nose for the nose, and the ear for the ear, and the tooth for the tooth, and (for) wounds (is) retribution. But whoever gives charity with it, then it is an expiation for him. And whoever (does) not judge by what has revealed Allah, then those [they] (are) the wrongdoers.

He said, "That (is) what we were seeking." So they returned on their footprints, retracing.

And certainly We have sent Messengers from before you. Among them (are) who - We have related to you, and among them (are) who - not We have related to you. And not is for any Messenger that he brings a Sign except by (the) permission (of) Allah. So when comes (the) Command (of) Allah, it will be decided in truth, and will lose there the falsifiers.

16:118
And to those who are Jews We have forbidden what We related to you from before. And not We wronged them but they used (to) themselves wrong.

And Messengers surely We (have) mentioned them to you from before and Messengers not We (have) mentioned them to you. And spoke Allah (to) Musa (in a) conversation.

These (were) the cities - We relate to you of their news. And certainly came to them their Messengers with clear proofs, but not they were to believe in what they (had) denied from before. Thus put a seal Allah on (the) hearts (of) the disbelievers.

And each, We relate to you of (the) news (of) the Messengers (for) that We may make firm with it your heart. And has come to you in this the truth and an admonition and a reminder for the believers.

20:99
Thus We relate to you from (the) news (of) what has preceded. And certainly We have given you from Us a Reminder.

Indeed, this [the] Quran relates to (the) Children (of) Israel, most (of) that they in it differ.

  
yaquṣṣūna   (1)

6:130
O assembly (of) [the] jinn and [the] men! Did (there) not come to you Messengers from (among) you, relating to you My Verses and warning you (of the) meeting (of) your day this?" They will say, "We bear witness against ourselves." And deluded them the life (of) the world, and they will bear witness against themselves that they were disbelievers.

7:35
O Children (of) Adam! If come to you Messengers from you relating to you My Verses, then whoever fears Allah, and reforms, then no fear on them and not they will grieve.
