to hope/expect, an opinion requiring the happening of an event in which will be a cause of happiness; expectation of deriving advantage from an event of which a cause has already occurred, keep awaited, put off, put aside, defer/delay, fear, beg/request.
arja' (pl.) - borders, sides. marjowwon is a person in whom great hopes are placed (e.g. 11:62).

Say, "Only I (am) a man like you. Has been revealed to me that your God (is) God One. So whoever is hoping (for the) meeting (with) his Lord, let him do deeds righteous and not associate in (the) worship (of) his Lord anyone."

Indeed, those who (do) not expect the meeting with Us and are pleased with the life (of) the world, and feel satisfied with it and those - they (are) of Our Signs, heedless.

And if (was) to hasten Allah for the mankind the evil, (as) He hastens for them the good, surely, would have been decree for them their term. But We leave those who (do) not expect the meeting with Us, in their transgression, wandering blindly.

25:21
And said those who (do) not expect (the) meeting with Us, "Why not are sent down to us the Angels or we see our Lord?" Indeed, they have become arrogant within themselves and (become) insolent (with) insolence great.

25:40
And verily, they have come upon the town which was showered (with) a rain (of) evil. Then do not they [were] see it? Nay, they are not expecting Resurrection.

78:27
Indeed, they were not expecting an account,

And postmenopausal among the women who (do) not have desire (for) marriage, then not is on them any blame that they put aside their (outer) garments, not displaying their adornment. And that they modestly refrain (is) better for them. And Allah (is) All-Hearer, All-Knower.

Indeed, those who recite (the) Book (of) Allah, and establish the prayer and spend out of what We have provided them, secretly and openly, hope (for) a commerce - never it will perish.

45:14
Say to those who believe (to) forgive those who (do) not hope (for the) days (of) Allah; that He may recompense a people for what they used to earn.

Indeed, those who believed and those who emigrated and strove in (the) way (of) Allah - those, they hope (for) Mercy (of) Allah. And Allah (is) Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.
