General Root Meaning
Raha - To go or do a thing at evening. Violently windy; good or pleasant wind. Become cool or pleasant [by means of the wind]. Become brisk, lively sprightly, active, agile, or quick [as though one felt the wind and was refreshed by it].
Rawahun - he went, journeyed, worked, or did a thing in the evening [or any time of the night or day], or in the afternoon (declining of the sun from its meridian until night).
Ruhun - Soul, spirit, vital principle, breath which a man breathes and pervades his whole body. Inspiration or divine revelation [since it is like the vital principle is to the body and quickens man].
turiihuuna (impf. 2nd. m. pl. vb. 4) - you bring home in the evening.
rawaahun (v. n.) - blowing in the afternoon, evening journey.
rauhun (n.) - soothing mercy, happiness, comport, bounty, gift.
ruuhun (n.) - revelation, spirit, soul, human soul, Gabriel, angel of revelation.
raihaan (n. pl.) - fragrant flowery plants.
riihun (n.) - punishment.
riyaah (n. pl.) - divine blessings.

Possessor of the Highest Ranks, Owner (of) the Throne; He places the inspiration of His Command upon whom He wills of His slaves, to warn (of the) Day (of) the Meeting.

And We have sent the winds fertilizing, and We sent down from the sky water, and We gave it to you to drink And not you of it (are) retainers.

And He (is) the One Who sends the winds (as) glad tidings (from) between (hands) His Mercy, and We send down from the sky water pure.

Or Who, guides you in (the) darkness[es] (of) the land and the sea and Who sends the winds (as) glad tidings (from) between (hands) His Mercy? Is there any god with Allah? High is Allah above what they associate (with Him).

Allah (is) the One Who sends the winds, so they raise (the) clouds, then He spreads them in the sky, how He wills, and He makes them fragments so you see the rain coming forth from their midst. Then when He causes it to fall on whom He wills of His slaves, behold! They rejoice.

And Allah (is) the One Who sends the winds so that they raise (the) clouds, and We drive them to a land dead and We revive therewith the earth after its death. Thus (will be) the Resurrection.

And present to them the example (of) the life (of) the world, like water which We send down from the sky, then mingles with it (the) vegetation (of) the earth then becomes dry stalks, it (is) scattered (by) the winds. And Allah over every thing (is) All Able.

Indeed, in (the) creation (of) the heavens and the earth, and alternation of the night and the day, and the ships which sail in the sea with what benefits [the] people, and what (has) sent down Allah from the sky [of] water, giving life thereby (to) the earth after its death, and dispersing therein [of] every moving creature, and directing (of) the winds and the clouds [the] controlled between the sky and the earth, surely (are) Signs for a people who use their intellect.

45:5
And (in the) alternation (of) the night and the day and what sends down Allah from the sky of (the) provision and gives life thereby (to) the earth after its death, and (in) directing (the) winds (are) Signs for a people who reason.

And to Sulaiman, the wind forcefully blowing by his command to the land which We blessed [in it]. And We are of every thing Knowers.

And to Sulaiman, the wind - its morning course (was) a month and its afternoon course (was) a month, and We caused to flow for him a spring (of) molten copper. And [of] the jinn who worked between (his) hands by the permission (of) his Lord. And whoever deviated among them from Our Command, We will make him taste of (the) punishment (of) the Blaze.

Then We subjected to him the wind to flow by his command, gently, wherever he directed,

If He wills, He can cause to become still the wind then they would remain motionless on its back. Indeed, in that surely (are) Signs for everyone patient (and) grateful.

Being upright to Allah, not associating partners with Him. And whoever associates partners with Allah then (it is) as though he had fallen from the sky and (had) snatched him the birds, or had blown him the wind to a place far off.

Those - He has decreed within their hearts faith and supported them with a spirit from Him. And He will admit them (to) Gardens, flow from underneath it the rivers, will abide forever in it. is pleased Allah with them, and they are pleased with Him. Those (are the) party (of) Allah. No doubt! Indeed, (the) party (of) Allah, they (are) the successful ones.

And indeed We gave Musa the Book and We followed up from after him with [the] Messengers. And We gave Isa, (the) son (of) Maryam, [the] clear signs and We supported him (with) Spirit Holy Is it (not) so (that) whenever came to you a Messenger with what (does) not desire yourselves, you acted arrogantly? So a party you denied, and a party you kill(ed).

5:110
When said Allah, "O Isa, son (of) Maryam! Remember My Favor upon you and upon your mother when I strengthened you with (the) Spirit, the Holy, you spoke (to) the people in the cradle and (in) maturity. And when I taught you the Book and the wisdom and the Taurat and the Injeel; and when you make from the clay like the shape (of) the bird by My permission then you breath into it and it becomes a bird by My permission, and you heal the born blind and the leper by My permission, and when you bring forth the dead by My permission. And when I restrained (the) Children (of) Israel from you when you came to them with the clear proofs then said those who disbelieved among them "Not this but magic, clear."

These (are) the Messengers We (have) preferred some of them over others. Among them (were those with) whom spoke Allah, and He raised some of them (in) degrees. And We gave Isa, son (of) Maryam, the clear proofs and We supported him with Spirit [the] Holy. And if (had) willed Allah not (would have) fought each other those who (came) from after them, from after [what] came to them the clear proofs. [And] but they differed, [so] of them (are some) who believed and of them (are some) who denied. And if (had) willed Allah not they (would have) fought each [and] but Allah does what He intends.

He (is) the One Who enables you to travel in the land and the sea, until, when you are in the ships and they sail with them with a wind good, and they rejoice therein comes to it a wind stormy, and comes to them the waves from every place, and they assume that they are surrounded with them. They call Allah sincerely to Him (in) the religion, (saying), "If You save us from this, surely we will be among the thankful."

O People (of) the Book! (Do) not commit excess in your religion and (do) not say about Allah except the truth. Only the Messiah, Isa, son (of) Maryam, (was) a Messenger (of) Allah and His word which He conveyed to Maryam and a spirit from Him. So believe in Allah and His Messengers. And (do) not say, "Three;" desist (it is) better for you. Only Allah (is) God One. Glory be to Him! That He (should) have for Him a son. To Him (belongs) whatever (is) in the heavens and whatever (is) in the earth. And sufficient (is) Allah (as) a Disposer of affairs.
