That (was) because they disobeyed and they were transgressing.

And He gave you of all what you asked of Him. And if you count (the) Favor (of) Allah not you will (be able to) count th Indeed, the mankind (is) surely unjust (and) ungrateful.

O you who believe! (Do) not enter (the) houses (of) the Prophet except when permission is given to you for a meal, without awaiting its preparation. But when you are invited, then enter; and when you have eaten, then disperse and not seeking to remain for a conversation. Indeed, that was troubling the Prophet, and he is shy of (dismissing) you. But Allah not is shy of the truth. And when you ask them (for) anything then ask them from behind a screen. That (is) purer for your hearts and their hearts. And not is for you that you trouble (the) Messenger (of) Allah and not that you should marry his wives from after him, ever. Indeed, that is near Allah an enormity.

And if you ask them, surely they will say, "Only we were conversing and playing." Say, "Is it Allah and His Verses and His Messenger (that) you were mocking?"

Those (are) the ones who are true and those, [they] (are) the righteous.

And they ask you about [the] menstruation. Say, "It (is) a hurt, so keep away (from) [the] women during (their) [the] menstruation. And (do) not approach them until they are cleansed Then when they are purified, then come to them from where has ordered you Allah." Indeed, Allah loves those who turn in repentance and loves those who purify themselves.

And they ask you concerning the soul. Say, "The soul (is) of (the) affair (of) my Lord. And not you have been given of the knowledge except a little."

And they ask you about Dhul (Possessor) Qarnain (two horns) Say, "I will recite to you about him a remembrance."

They think the confederates (have) not withdrawn. And if (should) come the confederates they would wish if that they (were) living in (the) desert among the Bedouins, asking about your news. And if they were among you not they would fight except a little.

They ask you about the month [the] sacred - (concerning) fighting in it. Say, "Fighting therein (is) a great (sin); but hindering (people) from (the) way (of) Allah, and disbelief in Him and (preventing access to) Al- Al-Haraam, and driving out its people from it, (is) greater (sin) near Allah. And [the] oppression (is) greater than [the] killing." And not they will cease (to) fight with you until they turn you away from your religion, if they are able. And whoever turns away among you from his religion, then dies while he (is) a disbeliever for those became worthless their deeds in the world and the Hereafter. And those (are) companions (of) the Fire, they in it (will) abide forever.

They ask you about the Hour, when will be its appointed time? Say, "Only its knowledge (is) with my Lord, no (one) can reveal [it] its time except Him. It lays heavily in the heavens and the earth. Not will it come to you but suddenly." They ask you as if you (were) well informed about it. Say, "Only its knowledge (is) with Allah, but most (of) the people (do) not know."

They ask you about the Hour, when will be its appointed time? Say, "Only its knowledge (is) with my Lord, no (one) can reveal [it] its time except Him. It lays heavily in the heavens and the earth. They ask you about the spoils of war. Say, "The spoils of war (are) for Allah and the Messenger. So fear Allah and set right that (which is) between you and obey Allah and His Messenger, if you are believers."
