All praise belongs to God, Originator of the heavens and the earth, who made the angels messengers with wings in pairs, threes, and fours. He adds to creation whatever He wills. God has power over all things.
Whatever mercy God opens for people, none can withhold it. And whatever He withholds, none can release it after Him. He is the Almighty, the Wise.
O people, remember God's blessing upon you. Is there any creator other than God who provides for you from the sky and the earth? There is no god but Him. So how are you deluded?
If they reject you, messengers before you were also rejected. To God all matters return.
O people, God's promise is true. So do not let the life of this world deceive you, and do not let the Deceiver deceive you about God.
Satan is your enemy, so treat him as an enemy. He only invites his followers to become companions of the Blaze.
Those who disbelieve will have a severe punishment, while those who believe and do good deeds will have forgiveness and a great reward.
Is one whose evil deeds are made attractive to him so that he sees them as good? God leads astray whoever He wills and guides whoever He wills. So do not let yourself waste away in grief over them. God knows well what they do.
God is the One who sends the winds, stirring up clouds. Then We drive them to a dead land and bring the earth back to life after its death. Such is the resurrection.
Whoever seeks honor, all honor belongs to God. To Him ascends the good word, and righteous deeds lift it up. Those who plot evil will have a severe punishment, and their plotting will come to nothing.
God created you from dust, then from a drop, then made you into pairs. No female conceives or gives birth except with His knowledge. No one grows old or has their life cut short except that it is in a record. That is easy for God.
The two bodies of water are not alike: this one is fresh, sweet, and pleasant to drink, while that one is salty and bitter. Yet from each you eat fresh meat and extract ornaments to wear. You see ships plowing through them so you may seek His favor, and perhaps you will be grateful.
He merges the night into the day and merges the day into the night. He has subjected the sun and the moon, each running for an appointed term. That is God, your Lord. To Him belongs all sovereignty. Those you call upon besides Him do not possess even the membrane of a date seed.
If you call upon them, they cannot hear your call. And even if they heard, they could not respond to you. On the Day of Resurrection, they will deny your worship of them. None can inform you like the One who is All-Aware.
O people, you are the ones in need of God, while God is the Self-Sufficient, the Praiseworthy.
If He wills, He can remove you and bring a new creation.
That is not difficult for God.
No soul will bear the burden of another. If a heavily laden soul calls for help with its load, none of it will be carried, even by a close relative. You can only warn those who fear their Lord while unseen and establish prayer. Whoever purifies themselves does so for their own benefit. To God is the final return.
The blind and the seeing are not equal.
Nor are darknesses and light.
Nor are shade and scorching heat.
The living and the dead are not equal. God makes whoever He wills hear, but you cannot make those in the graves hear.
You are only a warner.
We have sent you with the truth as a bearer of good news and a warner. There is no community that has not had a warner pass through it.
If they reject you, so did those before them reject. Their messengers came to them with clear proofs, with scriptures, and with the illuminating Book.
Then I seized those who disbelieved, and how terrible was My condemnation.
Do you not see that God sends down rain from the sky, and with it We bring forth fruits of varying colors? In the mountains are streaks of white and red, of varying shades, and pitch-black.
Among people, creatures, and livestock there is likewise diversity of colors. Only those with knowledge truly fear God among His servants. God is Almighty, Forgiving.
Those who recite the Book of God, establish prayer, and spend from what We have provided them secretly and openly hope for a trade that will never fail.
He will pay them their rewards in full and increase them from His grace. He is Forgiving, Appreciative.
What We have revealed to you of the Book is the truth, confirming what came before it. God is fully aware of His servants, All-Seeing.
Then We gave the Book as inheritance to those We chose from Our servants. Among them are those who wrong themselves, those who are moderate, and those who race ahead in good deeds by God's permission. That is the great favor.
Gardens of eternity they will enter, adorned there with bracelets of gold and pearls, and their clothing there will be silk.
They will say, "Praise be to God who has removed sorrow from us. Our Lord is truly Forgiving, Appreciative."
He who has settled us in the Home of Permanence out of His grace. No weariness touches us here, and no fatigue touches us here.
As for those who disbelieve, for them is the fire of Hell. Death is not decreed for them so they could die, nor is its torment lightened for them. This is how We repay every ungrateful denier.
They will scream in it, "Our Lord, take us out! We will do good, different from what we used to do!" Did We not give you lives long enough for whoever would reflect to reflect? The warner came to you. So taste it, for the wrongdoers have no helper.
God knows the unseen of the heavens and the earth. He knows what lies within the hearts.
He is the One who made you successors on the earth. Whoever disbelieves, his disbelief is against himself. The disbelief of the disbelievers only increases them in hatred before their Lord, and the disbelief of the disbelievers only increases them in loss.
Say, "Have you considered your partners that you call upon besides God? Show me what they have created of the earth. Or do they have a share in the heavens? Or have We given them a book so they stand on clear proof from it?" No, the wrongdoers promise each other nothing but delusion.
God holds the heavens and the earth, preventing them from collapsing. If they were to collapse, no one could hold them after Him. He is Forbearing, Forgiving.
They swore by God their most solemn oaths that if a warner came to them, they would be more guided than any other nation. But when a warner came to them, it only increased their aversion.
Arrogance in the land and evil scheming. But evil scheming only ensnares its own people. Do they await anything but the way of former peoples? You will never find any change in God's way, and you will never find any deviation in God's way.
Have they not traveled through the land and seen what became of those before them, who were mightier than them in strength? Nothing in the heavens or the earth can escape God. He is All-Knowing, All-Powerful.
If God were to punish people for what they have done, He would not leave a single creature on its surface. But He delays them until an appointed time. When their time comes, God is ever watchful of His servants.
