| Arabic | | فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ وَيَسْأَلُونَكَ عَنِ الْيَتَامَىٰ قُلْ إِصْلَاحٌ لَّهُمْ خَيْرٌ وَإِن تُخَالِطُوهُمْ فَإِخْوَانُكُمْ وَاللَّهُ يَعْلَمُ الْمُفْسِدَ مِنَ الْمُصْلِحِ وَلَوْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ لَأَعْنَتَكُمْ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزِيزٌ حَكِيم |  |

| "Setting right (their affairs) | iṣ'lāḥun | إِصْلَاحٌ | ص ل ح | |
| (is) best. | khayrun | خَيْرٌ | خ ى ر | |
| you associate with them | tukhāliṭūhum | تُخَالِطُوهُمْ | خ ل ط | |
| then they (are) your brothers. | fa-ikh'wānukum | فَإِخْوَانُكُمْ | ا خ و | |
| And Allah | wal-lahu | وَاللَّهُ | ا ل ه | |
| knows | yaʿlamu | يَعْلَمُ | ع ل م | |
| the corrupter | l-muf'sida | الْمُفْسِدَ | ف س د | |
| the amender. | l-muṣ'liḥi | الْمُصْلِحِ | ص ل ح | |
| (had) willed | shāa | شَاءَ | ش ى ء | |
| surely He (could have) put you in difficulties. | la-aʿnatakum | لَأَعْنَتَكُمْ | ع ن ت | |
| (is) All-Mighty, | ʿazīzun | عَزِيزٌ | ع ز ز | |
| All-Wise." | ḥakīmun | حَكِيمٌ | ح ك م | |
