Surah “The Cave”

as rendered by Verbatim Quran - Mahmoud K — 110 verses

Commendation to Allah, who descended the Scripture upon His worshipper, and did not make any crook to it.
Straightening, to warn of a staunch battling from His own; and to cheer the believers who moil the decencies, that to them is an excellent wage.
Lingering in it forever.
And to warn those who said, 'Allah took a child.'
They have no knowledge of it, nor did their fathers. Bigged is a word that comes from their mouths. Indeed, they say only lies.
So perhaps you are busting yourself, on their traces, with sorrow if they did not believe in this speech.
Indeed, We made what is on the earth an ornament for it, to plague them as to whom is best in moil.
And We shall make what is on it a dredged dust.
Or did you suppose that the Companions of the Cave and the enumeration were of Our agape signs?
As the fellows homed to the cave, then they said, 'Our Lord, give us mercy from Your own, and prepare for us a rationale from our matter.'
So, We drubbed upon their ears in the cave, a number of years.
Then We resurrected them to know which of the two sects better calculates the duration which they lasted.
We narrate upon you their bulletin with the fact. Indeed, they were fellows who believed in their Lord, and We increased them in guidance.
And We roped upon their hearts as they stood and said, 'Our Lord is the Lord of the skies and the earth; we will not call any god instead of Him, for then we would have spoken overshoot.'
Those are our folk, they took gods instead of Him. If only could they bring an evident authorization upon them? So, who is more oppressive than one who fabricated lies upon Allah?'
And as you isolated from them, and from what they worship except Allah, so, home to the cave. Your Lord will disseminate His mercy to you, and will prepare for you from your matter a comfort.'
And you see the sun, when it climbed, withdrawing from their cave that of the right, and when it sets, crediting them that of the left, and they are in a cavity from it. That is from Allah's signs. Whomever Allah guides is the guided; but whomever He deludes, then you will not find for him a leading ally.
And you suppose them awake, although they are dormant. And We tumble them that of the right, and that of the left, and their dog stretching its arms by the stockade. If you view them, you would elude from them in flight, and you would be filled from them with trepidation.
And Likewise, We resurrected them, to ask one another. A speaker among them said, 'How long did you lasted?' They said, 'We lasted a day or part of a day.' They said, 'Your Lord is more knowledgeable with how long you lasted.' 'So, send one of you to the city, with this currency of yours, then let him see which food is most kindled, then let him bring you some catering from it. And let him be gentle, and do not let anyone be aware of you.'
Indeed, if they reign upon you, they will stone you, or return you into their mores; and you will never plough.'
And Likewise, We caused them to be found, so that they would know that the vow of Allah is a fact and that indeed, in the Hour there is no doubt. As they are disputing their matter between them, so they said, 'Build upon them a building.' Their Lord is more knowledgeable with them. Those who quelled upon their matter said, 'We shall take upon them a Mosque.'
They will say, 'Three, and their fourth is their dog.' And they will say, 'Five, and their sixth is their dog,' stoning with the Absentia. And they will say, 'Seven, and their eighth is their dog.' Say, 'My Lord is more knowledgeable with their count.' None knows them except a few. So, do not altercate in them except with an outward altercation, and do not ask anyone for a verdict in them.
And do not say to anything, 'I am doing this tomorrow.'
Unless Allah wishes. And remember your Lord if you forgot, and say, 'Perhaps my Lord will guide me to nearer than this in rationality.'
And they lasted in their cave for three hundred years and increased nine.
Say, 'Allah is more knowledgeable with how long they lasted.' To Him is the Absentia of the skies and the earth. Make observe with Him and make hear. They have no ally instead of Him, and He doesn't share His rule with anyone.
And recite what was cued to you from the Scripture of your Lord. There is no replacement to His words, and you will not find a deity instead of Him.
And persevere yourself with those who call their Lord morning and evening, wanting His Face. And do not turn your eyes away from them, wanting the ornament of the mundane life. And do not obey one whose heart We have made oblivious to Our remembrance, and he followed his whims, and his matter was frittered.
And say, 'The fact is from your Lord. So, whoever wished, let him believe. And whoever wished, let him unbelieve'. For We have readied for the oppressors a Fire, whose stockade encompassed them. And when they seek succor, they will be succored with water like melt, which scalds the faces. Miserable is the drink and a worse facility.
Indeed, those who believed and moiled the decencies, We do not waste the wage of who moiled the best.
Those, to them are Gardens of Eden, beneath which rivers flow. jeweled in it with bracelets of gold, and wearing green clothes of satin and brocade. Reclining in it on couches. Endowed is the prize, and an excellent facility.
And drop to them the example of two men. To one of them, We made two gardens of grapes, and We fringed them with palms-trees, and We placed between them crops.
Both of the gardens brought their eatables and did not oppress anything from it. And We burst a river through them.
And he had fruits. So, He said to his companion, as he was conversing with him, 'I have more money than you, and more cherished individuals.'
And he entered his garden while oppressing himself. He said, 'I do not ween this will ever extirpate.'
And I do not ween the Hour is arising. And if I was rebound to my Lord, I shall find better than it as a tumbling.'
His companion said to him, while conversing with him, 'Did you unbelieve in Him who created you from soil, then from a finite, then steadied you into a man?
But indeed, He is Allah, my Lord, and I do not associate anyone with my Lord.
And if only you said you when you entered your garden, 'Whatever Allah wished; there is no power except by Allah'? For you see me less than you in money and children.
So perhaps my Lord will give me better than your garden, and send upon it an appraisal from the sky, so it becomes slick dust.
Or its water will go cavernous, so you will be unable to want it.'
And his fruits were encompassed, so he began tumbling his palms upon what he conferred in it, while it is hollow on its thrones. And saying, 'O let I never associated anyone with my Lord.'
And He had no faction to support him instead of Allah, and he was not to trounce.
Therein is the alliance to Allah, the Fact. He is better in prizing and better in sequel.
And drop to them the example of the mundane life, like water that We descend from the sky; so, it mixed with the plants of the earth; then it became trash, discarded by the wind. And Allah was Capable upon everything.
Money and bairns are the ornament of the mundane life. And the kept decencies, are better at your Lord as a prize, and a better hope.
And on the Day when We move the mountains; and you see the earth emerged, and We squashed them, so we did not discard any one of them.
And they were presented before your Lord, an assembly. 'You have come to Us as We created you the first time. Verily, you claimed that We would not make an appointment for you.'
And the book was put, and you see the criminals flustering from what's in it. And they will say, 'O' woe to us! What is with this book that doesn't ignore a small one nor a big one, but it has calculated it?' And they found everything they had done, arraigned. And your Lord does not oppress anyone.
And as We said to the angels, 'Prostrate to Adam.' So, they prostrated, except Iblis. He was of the Jinn, then he defied from the order of his Lord. So, do you take him and his descendants as allies instead of Me, and they are adversaries to you? Miserable to the oppressors such a replacement.
I did not witness them the creation of the skies and the earth, nor their own creation, and I was not to take the deluders as advocates.
And on the Day when He will say, 'Yell to My associates whom you claimed.' So, they called them, but they did not respond to them. And We made between them a brink.
And the criminals saw the Fire, so they weened that they are befalling it. And they did not find a diversion from it.
And We have served in this Quran for the masses from every example, and the human was the most wrangled thing.
And what prevented the masses from believing, as guidance came to them, and from asking their Lord's forgiveness? Only when the judgment of the oldens came to them or the tribulation came to them before.
And We only send the messengers as cheerers and warners. And those who unbelieved wrangle the repeal to discredit the fact with it. And they took My signs, and what they were warned, a ridicule.
And who is more oppressive than he, who was reminded with his Lord's signs, so he averted from them, and forgot what his hands committed? Indeed, We made compartments upon their hearts, that they comprehend it, and in their ears a cargo. And if you call them to guidance, then they will not be guided, ever.
And your Lord is the Forgiver, the one with Mercy. Were He to rebuke them for what they have acquired, He would have accelerated the tribulation to them. Verily, they have an appointment from which they will find no elusiveness.
And these are the villages, We annihilated them when they oppressed, and We made for their annihilation an appointment.
And as Musa said to his fellow, 'I will not abandon until I reach the summit of the two seas, or I spend decades.'
Then, when they reached the summit between them, they forgot their fish. So, it took its path seeping into the sea.
So, when they crossed, he said to his fellow, 'Bring us our lunch; we have encountered from this travel of ours, an exhaustion.'
He said, 'Have you seen when we homed to the rock? Then I forgot the fish. And it was only the Satan who made me forget it instead of remembering it. And it took its path in the sea, agaping!
He said, 'This is what we were pursuing.' And so, they rebound questing on their traces.
So, they found a worshipper from Our worshippers, whom We had given mercy from Us, and had taught him knowledge from Our Own.
Musa said to him, 'May I follow you provided you teach me some of what rationality you were taught?'
He said, 'Indeed, you cannot have perseverance with me.
And how will you persevere upon reports that you were not encompassed with?'
He said, 'You will find me, if Allah wished, persevering, and I will not disobey to you any order.'
He said, 'So, if you follow me, then do not ask me about anything until I induce a mention from it to you.'
So, they launched. Until, when they embarked the ship, he punctured it. He said, 'Did you puncture it to drown its people? You have done something extreme.'
He said, 'Did I not tell you that you cannot have perseverance with me?'
He said, 'Do not rebuke me with what I forgot, and do not enervate me a hardship from my matter.'
Then they launched. Until, when they encountered a boy, then he killed him. He said, 'Did you kill a kindled self, without another self? You have done something execrable.'
He said, 'Did I not tell you that you cannot have perseverance with me?'
He said, 'If I asked you about anything after this, then do not accompany me. You have reached an apology from my own.'
So, they launched. Until, when they came to the people of a village, they asked them for food, but they refused to host them. Then they found in it a wall wanting to break, so he upraised it. He said, 'If you wanted, you could have taken a wage upon it.'
He said, 'This is a furcating between you and me. So, I will tell you the elucidation of that, upon which you could not have perseverance.
As for the ship, it was for impecunious ones moiling in the sea. So, I wanted to impair it. And there was a Monarch after them taking every ship, forcibly.
And as for the boy, his parents were believers, so we were anxious that he would enervate them with tyranny and unbelief.
So, we wanted that their Lord replace for them one better than him in kindling and nearer in mercy.
And as for the wall, it was for two orphan boys in the city. And beneath it was a treasure to them. And their father was decent. So, your Lord wanted that they reach their staunchest, and extract their treasure, a mercy from your Lord. And I did not do it on my own matter. This is the elucidation of that, upon which, you could not have perseverance.'
And they ask you about the One with the Two-Horns. Say, 'I will recite upon you a mention from him.'
Indeed, We strengthened to him in the earth, and gave him from everything a prop.
So, he followed a prop.
Until, when he reached the setting of the sun, he found it setting in a hot fountain, and found there, a folk. We said, 'O One of the Two-Horns, you may either tribulate, or take in them excellence.'
He said, 'As for him who oppressed, so we shall tribulate him, then he will be rebound to his Lord, so He will tribulate him with an execrable tribulation.
But as for him who believed and moiled decency, then to him is the excellent reward, and We will say to him ease from Our matter.'
Then he followed a prop.
Until, when he reached the rise of the sun, he found it rising upon folk to whom We did not make a shelter instead of it.
Likewise. And We have been encompassed with the reports he had.
Then he followed a prop.
Until, when he reached between the two palisades, he found down from them folk who could hardly comprehend a talk.
They said, 'O One with Two-Horns, Gog and Magog are devastating in the earth. So, shall we make a charge for you, provided you make between us and them a palisade?'
He said, “What my Lord has strengthened me in is better. So, assist me with power, I will make between you and them a dam.”
“Bring me iron bits.” Until when he equated between the two shells, he said, “Puff”, until when he made it a fire, he said, “Bring me the bronze to pour upon it.”
So, they could not climb it, and they could not probe it.
He said, “This is a mercy from my Lord. So, when the vow of my Lord comes, He will make it a deck, and the vow of my Lord was a fact.”
And on that Day, We left them mingling in one another. And it was puffed into the Siren, so We gathered them in a gathering.
And on that Day, We presented Gehennam to the unbelievers in a presentation.
Those whose eyes were in a cover from My reminder, and they could not hear.
So, do those who unbelieve suppose that they can take My bondservants as allies instead of Me? Indeed, We have readied Gehennam as a hostel to the unbelievers.
Say, “Shall We inform you of the most losers of moils?”
“Those whose strive in the mundane life was deluded while they were supposing that they were excelling in crafting.”
It is they who unbelieved the signs of their Lord and His encounter. So, their moils were bloated. Then on the Day of Arising, We will not make to them a weight.
That is their recompense, Gehennam, with what they unbelieved, and they took My signs and My messengers a ridicule.
Indeed, those who believed and moiled the decencies, to them were Gardens of Paradise as a hostel.
Eternal in it, not pursuing any alternative to it.
Say, “If the sea was an ink to the words of my Lord, the sea would deplete before the words of my Lord deplete,” even if We were to bring the like of it as an extension.
Say, “I am only a barian like you, being cued to, that your god is One God. So, whoever desires the encounter his Lord, then let him moil a decent moil, and not associate anyone with the worship of his Lord.”
