to count, number, reckon, make the census of. addun - number, computation, determined number. adadun - number. iddatun - a number, prescribed term, counting, to count, legal waiting period for a woman after she is divorced or becomes a widow before she may marry again. a'dd - to prepare, make ready. addina - those who count. ma'dudun - counted one.
  
aʿadda   (2)

4:102
And when you are among them and you lead for them the prayer, then let stand a group of them with you and let them take their arms. Then when they have prostrated, then let them be from behind you and let come (forward) a group - other, (which has) not prayed, and let them pray with you and let them take their precautions and their arms. Wished those who disbelieved if you neglect [about] your arms and your baggage so (that) they (can) assault [upon] you (in) an attack, single. But (there is) no blame upon you if was with you any trouble (because) of rain or you are sick that you lay down your arms, but take your precautions. Indeed, Allah has prepared for the disbelievers a punishment humiliating.

9:89
has prepared Allah for them Gardens flows from underneath it the rivers, (will) abide forever in it. That (is) the success the great.

33:29
But if you desire Allah and His Messenger and the Home (of) the Hereafter, then indeed, Allah has prepared for the good-doers among you a reward great."

33:35
Indeed, the Muslim men and the Muslim women, and the believing men and the believing women, and the obedient men and the obedient women, and the truthful men and the truthful women, and the patient men and the patient women, and the humble men and the humble women, and the men who give charity and the women who give charity and the men who fast and the women who fast, and the men who guard their chastity and the women who guard (it), and the men who remember Allah much and the women who remember has prepared Allah for them forgiveness and a reward great.

58:15
has prepared Allah for them a punishment severe. Indeed, [they] evil is what they used to do.

65:10
has prepared Allah for them a punishment severe. So fear Allah, O you of understanding, those who have believed! Indeed, has sent down Allah to you a Message.

Race to (the) forgiveness from your Lord and a Garden its width (is) like (the) width (of) the heaven and the earth, prepared for those who believe in Allah and His Messengers. That (is the) Bounty (of) Allah, He gives (to) whom He wills. And Allah (is) the Possessor (of) Bounty, the Great.

65:1
O Prophet! When you divorce [the] women, then divorce them for their waiting period, and keep count (of) the waiting period, and fear Allah, your Lord. (Do) not expel them from their houses, and not they should leave except that they commit an immorality clear. And these (are the) limits (of) Allah. And whoever transgresses (the) limits (of) Allah then certainly he has wronged himself. Not you know; Perhaps Allah will bring about, after that, a matter.

2:185
Month (of) Ramadhaan (is) that was revealed therein the Quran, a Guidance for mankind and clear proofs of [the] Guidance and the Criterion. So whoever witnesses among you the month, then he should fast in it, and whoever is sick or on a journey then prescribed number (should from days other. Intends Allah for you [the] ease and not intends for you [the] hardship, so that you complete the prescribed period and that you magnify Allah for [what] He guided you so that you may (be) grateful.

They say, (they were) three, the forth of them their dog; and they say (they were) five the sixth of them their dog - guessing about the unseen; and they say, (they were) seven and the eight of them their dog. Say, "My Lord, knows best their number. None knows them except a few. So (do) not argue about them except (with) an argument obvious, and (do) not inquire about them among them (from) anyone."

33:49
O you who believe! When you marry believing women and then, divorce them from before [that] you have touched them, then not for you on them any waiting period (to) count concerning them. So provide for them and release them (with) a release good.

And He gave you of all what you asked of Him. And if you count (the) Favor (of) Allah not you will (be able to) count th Indeed, the mankind (is) surely unjust (and) ungrateful.

16:18
And if you should count the Favors (of) Allah not you could enumerate them. Indeed, Allah (is) Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

And they ask you to hasten the punishment. But never will fail Allah (in) His Promise. And indeed, a day with your Lord (is) like a thousand year(s) of what you count.

He regulates the affair of the heaven to the earth; then it will ascend to Him in a Day, that is (the) measure of which is a thousand years of what you count.

And We have made the night and the day (as) two signs. Then We erased (the) sign (of) the night, and We made (the) sign (of) the day visible, that you may seek bounty from your Lord, and that you may know (the) number (of) the years, and the account. That (is) the religion the upright, so (do) not wrong therein yourselves. And fight the polytheists all together, as they fight you all together. And know that Allah (is) with the righteous.

9:37
Indeed, the postponing (is) an increase in the disbelief, are led astray by it those who disbelieve. They make it lawful one year and make it unlawful (another) year, to adjust the number which has made unlawful Allah and making lawful what has made unlawful Allah Is made fair-seeming to them (the) evil (of) their deeds. And Allah (does) not guide the people - the disbelievers.

74:31
And not We have made keepers (of) the Fire except Angels. And not We have made their number except (as) a trial for those who disbelieve - that may be certain those who were given the Scripture and may increase those who believe (in) faith, and not may doubt those who were given the Scripture and the believers, and that may say those in their hearts (is) a disease and the disbelievers "What (does) intend Allah by this example?" Thus does let go astray Allah whom He wills and guides whom He wills. And none knows (the) hosts (of) your Lord except Him. And not it (is) but a reminder to (the) human beings.

(Fasting for) days numbered. So whoever is among you sick or on a journey, then a prescribed number of days other. And on those who can afford it, a ransom (of) feeding a poor. And whoever volunteers good then it (is) better for him. And to fast (is) better for you, if you know.

And remember Allah during days numbered. Then (he) who hurries in two days then no sin upon him, and whoever delays then no sin upon him for (the one) who fears. And fear Allah and know that you unto Him will be gathered.

3:24
That (is) because they say, "Never will touch us the Fire except (for) days numbered." And deceived them in their religion what they were inventing.

And they say, "Never will touch us the Fire except (for) days numbered." Say, "Have you taken from Allah a covenant, so never will break Allah His Covenant? Or (do) you say against Allah what not you know?"

And if We delay from them the punishment for a time determined, they will surely say, "What detains it?" No doubt! (On) the Day it comes to them not (will be) averted from them and will surround them what they used (to) at [it] mock.

And they sold him for a price very low, dirhams few, and they were about him of those keen to give up.

And the forerunners, the first among the emigrants and the helpers and those who followed them in righteousness, is pleased Allah with them, and they are pleased with Him. And He has prepared for them Gardens flows underneath it the rivers, will abide in it forever. That (is) the success the great.

33:8
That He may ask the truthful about their truth. And He has prepared for the disbelievers a punishment painful.

33:44
Their greetings (on the) Day they will meet Him (will be), "Peace." and He has prepared for them a reward noble.

33:57
Indeed, those who annoy Allah and His Messenger, has cursed them Allah in the world and the Hereafter and prepared for them a punishment humiliating.

48:6
And He (may) punish the hypocrite men and the hypocrite women and the polytheist men and the polytheist women, who assume about Allah an assumption evil. Upon them (is) a turn (of) evil, and wrath Allah upon them and He has cursed them and prepared for them Hell, and evil (is the) destination.

  
wa-aʿiddū   (1)

8:60
And prepare for them whatever you able (to) of force and of tethered horses (cavalry) (to) terrify therewith (the) enemy of Allah, and your enemy and others from besides them, not (do) you know them (but) Allah knows them. And whatever you spend from (any) thing in (the) way (of) Allah it will be fully repaid to you, and you (will) not be wronged.
