Ayn-Nun-Ya

General Root Meaning

to submit humbly, be downcast, distress, become submissive, obedient, take a thing peaceably.

waʿanati (1)

20:111
And (will be) humbled the faces before the Ever-Living, the Self-Subsisting. And verily will have failed (he) who carried wrongdoing.
