General Root Meaning
To excoriate, to par a thing, flay/skin (sheep), strip off superficial part (e.g. peel, bark, etc.). 
ahmar - the colour red. 
hamr - cattle of camels/asses/sheep/mules.

62:5
(The) likeness (of) those who were entrusted (with) the Taurat then not they bore it, (is) like the donkey who carries books. Wretched is (the) example (of) the people who deny (the) Signs (of) Allah. And Allah (does) not guide the people, the wrongdoers.

He said, "Nay, you (have) remained one hundred year(s). Then look at your food and your drink, (they did) not change with time, and look at your donkey, and We will make you a sign for the people. And look at the bones how We raise them, then We cover them (with) flesh." Then when became clear to him, he said, "I know that Allah (is) on every thing All-Powerful."
