to be quiet, rest/repose/dwell/lodge, inhabit, stop/still, subside. Tranquillity, security, mercy, blessing. masakin - poor/destitute/weak/penniless, humble/submissive, one who is in a state of lowliness/humiliation/abasement/submissiveness, one who cannot move to earn his livelihood because of his physical/mental/financial disability.
sikkin - knife, as it is cause of making still after slaughtering.

Our Lord! Indeed, I [I] have settled (some) of my offsprings in a valley not with cultivation near Your House, Sacred. our Lord! That they may establish the prayers. So make hearts of the men incline towards them, and provide them with the fruits so that they may be grateful.

Lodge them from where you dwell, (out) of your means and (do) not harm them to distress [on] them. And if they are (in a) state (of) pregnancy, then spend on them until they deliver their burden. Certainly was pleased Allah with the believers when they pledged allegiance to you under the tree, and He knew what (was) in their hearts, so He sent down the tranquility upon them and rewarded them (with) a victory near,

Struck on them the humiliation wherever that they are found except with a rope from Allah and a rope from the people. And they incurred wrath from Allah and struck on them the poverty. Then sent down Allah His tranquility on His Messenger, and on the believers and sent down forces, which you did not see and He punished those who disbelieved. And that (is) the recompense (of) the disbelievers.

If not you help him, certainly, helped him Allah when drove him out those who disbelieved, the second (of) the two, when they both (were) in the cave, when he said to his companion, "(Do) not grieve, indeed, Allah (is) with us." Then sent down Allah His tranquility upon him, and supported him with forces not which you did see, and made (the) word (of) those who disbelieved the lowest, while (the) Word (of) Allah it (is) the highest. And Allah (is) All-Mighty, All-Wise.

48:26
When had put those who disbelieved in their hearts disdain - (the) disdain (of) the time of ignorance. Then sent down Allah His tranquility upon His Messenger and upon the believers and made them adhere (to the) word (of) righteousness, and they were more deserving of it and worthy of it. And is Allah of every thing All-Knower.

And We send down from the sky water, in (due) measure then We cause it to settle in the earth. And indeed, We, on taking away it, surely (are) Able.

not will call you to account Allah for the thoughtless utterances in your oaths but He will call you to account for what you contracted (of) the oath. So its expiation (is) feeding (of) ten needy people of average (of) what you feed your families or clothing them or freeing a slave. But whoever (does) not find (that), then fasting (for) three days. That (is the) expiation (of) your oaths when you have sworn. And guard your oaths. Thus makes clear Allah to you His Verses so that you may (be) grateful.

O you who believe! (Do) not kill the game while you (are in) Ihram. And whoever killed it among you intentionally, then penalty (is) similar (to) what he killed of the cattle, judging it two men, just, among you (as) an offering reaching the Kabah or an expiation - feeding needy people or equivalent (of) that (in) fasting, that he may taste (the) consequence (of) his deed. pardoned Allah what (has) passed, but whoever returned, then will take retribution Allah from him. And Allah (is) All-Mighty, Owner (of) Retribution.

It is not [the] righteousness that you turn your faces towards the east and the west, [and] but the righteous[ness] (is he) who believes in Allah and the Day [the] Last, and the Angels, and the Book, and the Prophets, and gives the wealth in spite of his love (for it) (to) those the near relatives, and the orphans, and the needy, and (of) the wayfarer, and those who ask, and in freeing the necks (slaves) and (who) establish the prayer, and give the zakah, and those who fulfill their covenant when they make it; and those who are patient in [the] suffering and [the] hardship, and (the) time (of) [the] stress. Those (are) the ones who are true and those, [they] (are) the righteous.

24:22
And not let swear those of virtue among you and the amplitude of means that they give (to) the near of kin, and the needy and the emigrants in (the) way (of) Allah. And let them pardon and let them overlook. (Do) not you like that should forgive Allah you? And Allah (is) Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

And when present (at) the (time of) division (of) the relatives and the orphans and the poor, then provide them from it and speak to them words (of) kindness.

They ask you what they (should) spend. Say, "Whatever you spend of good, (is) for parents, and the relatives, and the orphans, and the needy, and (of) the wayfarer. And whatever you do of good. So indeed, Allah of it (is) All-Aware.

And worship Allah And (do) not associate with Him anything, and to the parents (do) good, and with the relatives, and the orphans, and the needy and the neighbor (who is) near, and the neighbor (who is) farther away, and the companion by your side and the traveler and what possess[ed] your right hands. Indeed, Allah (does) not love (the one) who is [a] proud (and) [a] boastful.

8:41
And know that what you obtain (as) spoils of war of anything, then that, for Allah (is) one fifth of it and for the Messenger and for the near relatives, and the orphans and the needy and the wayfarer, if you believe in Allah, and (in) what We sent down to Our slave (on the) day (of) the criterion, (the) day (when) met the two forces. And Allah (is) on every thing All-Powerful.

9:60
Only the charities (are) for the poor, and the needy and those who collect them, and the ones inclined their hearts, and in the (freeing of) the necks, and for those in debt and in (the) way (of) Allah, and the wayfarer - an obligation from Allah. And Allah (is) All-Knowing, All-Wise.

59:7
What restored Allah to His Messenger from (the) people (of) the towns, (it is) for Allah and His Messenger and for the kindred and the orphans and the needy and the wayfarer, that not it becomes a (perpetual) circulation between the rich among you. And whatever gives you the Messenger, take it and whatever he forbids you from it, refrain. And fear Allah. Indeed, Allah (is) severe (in) penalty.

And when you said, "O Musa! Never (will) we endure [on] food (of) one (kind), so pray for us (to) your Lord to bring forth for us out of what grows the earth, of its herbs, [and] its cucumbers, [and] its garlic, [and] its lentils, and its onions." He said, "Would you exchange that which [it] (is) inferior for that which [it] (is) better? Go down (to) a city, so indeed for you (is) what you have asked (for)." And were struck on them the humiliation and the misery and they drew on themselves wrath of Allah That (was) because they used to disbelieve in (the) Signs (of) Allah and kill the Prophets without (any) [the] right. That (was) because they disobeyed and they were transgressing.

   wal-mis'kīna   (2)

17:26
And give (one of) the relatives his right, and the needy, and the wayfarer, and (do) not spend wastefully.

30:38
So give (from) the relative his right and the poor and the wayfarer. That (is) best for those who desire (the) Countenance (of) Allah. And those, they (are) the successful ones.

has promised Allah the believing men and the believing women Gardens, flow from underneath it the rivers (will) abide forever in it and dwellings blessed in Gardens (of) everlasting bliss. But the pleasure of Allah (is) greater. That, it (is) the success great.

61:12
He will forgive for you your sins and admit you (in) Gardens flow from underneath it the rivers and dwellings pleasant in Gardens (of) Eternity. That (is) the success the great.

Say, "If are your fathers, and your sons, and your brothers, and your spouses, and your relatives, and wealth that you have acquired and the commerce, you fear a decline (in) it and the dwellings you delight (in) it (are) more beloved to you than Allah, and His Messenger and striving in His way, then wait until brings Allah His Command. And Allah (does) not guide the people - the defiantly disobedient."

Not flee but return to what you were given luxury in it and to your homes, so that you may be questioned.

If He wills, He can cause to become still the wind then they would remain motionless on its back. Indeed, in that surely (are) Signs for everyone patient (and) grateful.
