11:1  A (Alif), L (Laam), R (Ra): A book (Kitaabun) whose verses (Aayaatu-hu) have been mastered (Uh'kimat') and then (Thumma) elaborated (41:3) (Fussilat') by (from) (Min Ladun') the Wise (Hakiimin) and Cognizant (Khabiir),

11:2  that do not (Alla) worship (Ta'buduu') except (illa) GOD (Ellahi). Indeed, I am (Innanii) a warner (Naziirun) and (Wa) a herald (Bashiiru) from HIM (Min'hu) to you (Lakum),

11:3  that (Ani), "Seek the forgiveness (Es'tag'firu') of your LORD (Rabba-kum) and then (Thumma) repent to HIM (Tuubuu ilai'hi); HE will make you enjoy (Yumatti'kum) good (Hasanan) provision (Mataa'än) for (ilaa) a fixed (Musamman) term (Ajalin), and (Wa) HE gives (Yu'ti) HIS favour (Fad'la-hu) to everyone (Kulla) with (possessing) (Zii) favour (Fad'lin), but (Wa) if (In) you turn away (Tawallaw'), then (Fa) indeed, I (Innii) fear (Akhaafu) for you (Älai'kum) the punishment (Äzaaba) of a big (Kabiir) day (Yaw'min)."

11:4  To GOD (ilaallahi) is your return (Mar'jiu-kum’); for (Wa) HE (Huwa) is capable (Qadiiru) of (Älaa) all (Kulli) things (Shai'in).

11:5  Verily (Alaa) indeed, they (Innahum) fold (Yath'nuuna) their bosoms (Suduura-hum’) to (Li) hide (Yas'takh'fu') from HIM (Min'hu). Verily (Ala), HE knows (Ya'lamu) what (Maa) they confide (Yusirruuna) and what (Wamaa) they declare (Yu'linuun) when (Hiina) they hide in (Yas'tag'shuuna) their clothes (Thiyaaba-hum’). Indeed, HE (Innahu) is aware of (Äliimu Bi) the essence (Zaati) of the bosoms (Es'Suduur).

11:6  And (Wa) there is not (Maa) a (Min) creature (Daabbatin) on earth (Fiil' Ar'di) except (illa) its sustenance (Riz'qu-ha) is from GOD (Älaallahi); HE knows (Ya'lamu) its residence (Mus'taqarra-haa) and (Wa) its repository (Mus'taw'da'ä-haa). All (Kullun) is in (Fii) a clear (Mubiin) register (Kitaabin).

11:7  And (Wa) HE (Huwa) is the One who (Ellazii) created (Khalaqa) the heavens (Es'Samaawaati) and the earth (Wal' Ar'do) in (Fii) six (Sittati) days (Ayyaamin); HIS throne (Är'shu-hu) is (Kaana) upon (Älaa) water (El'Maai) so that (Li) HE may test you (Yab'luwa-kum); which of you (Ayyukum) is best (Ah'sanu) in deed (Ämala). And (Wa) if (La'in) you (s) say (Qul’ta), "Indeed, you (p) (Innakum) will be resurrected (Mab'uuthuuna) after (Min Ba'di) death (El'Maw'ti)," those who (Ellaziina) have disbelieved (Kafaruu') will (La) say (Yaquulanna), "This (Haazaa) is only (In' illa) clear (Mubiin) sorcery (Sih'run)."

11:8  And (Wa) if (La'in') We delay (Akkhar'naa) the punishment (El'Äzaaba) from them (Än'humu) for (ilaa) a limited (Ma'duudatin) time (12:45) (Ummatin), they will (La) say (Yaquulunna), "What (Maa) is obstructing it (Yah'bisu-hu)?” Verily (Ala), the day (Yaw'ma) it comes to them (Ya'tii-him), it will not (Lai'sa) be diverted (Mas'ruufan) from them (Än'hum') and (Wa) they will be overtaken by (Haaqa Bi-him) what (Maa) they used to (Kaanu') ridicule (Yas'tah'ziuun Bihi).

11:9  And (Wa) if (La'in') We make the human being (El' Insaana) taste (-Azaq'naa) mercy (Rah'matan) from Us (Minnaa) and then (Thumma) We remove it (Naza'naa-ha) from him (Min'hu), he (Innahu) becomes (La) hopeless (Yauusun) and ungrateful (Kafuur).

11:10  But (Wa) if (La'in') We make him taste (Azaq'naa-hu) a favour (Na'maa'a) after (Ba'da) adversity (Dorraa'a) had touched him (Massat'hu), he will (La) say (Yaquulanna), "All evil (Es'Sayyiaatu) has departed (Zahaba) from me (Ännii)." Indeed, he (Innahu) becomes (La) exultant (Farihun) and proud (Fakhuur),

11:11  except (illa) those who (Ellaziina) are patient (Sobaru') and (Wa) do (Ämilu') good deeds (Es'Soalihaati); those (U'laaika) will have (Lahum) forgiveness (Mag'firatun) and magnificent (Kabiir) reward (Aj'run).

11:12  So (Fa) perhaps you (s) (Laällaka) would leave (Taariku) some (Ba'do) of what (Maa) is inspired (Yuuhaa) to you (s) (ilai'ka), while (Wa) your bosom (s) (Sod'ru-ka) is bothered (Doa'iqu) by it (Bihi) because (An) they say (Yaquulu'), "Why (Law') has a treasure (Kanzun) not (Laa) been sent down to him (Unzila Älai'hi) or (Aw') an angel (Malakun) to come (Jaa'a) along with him (Maähu)?" You (Mohammed) (Anta) are only (Innamaa) a warner (Naziirun). And GOD (Wallahu) is a Representative (Wakiil) for (Älaa) all (Kulli) things (Shai'in).

11:13  Or (Am') are they saying (Yaquuluuna), "He (Mohammed) invented it (Ef'taraa-hu)"? Say (Qul'): "Then bring (Fa'tu' Bi) ten (Äsh'ri) invented (Muf'tarayaatin) chapters (Suwarin) like it (Mith'li-hi), and (Wa) invite (Ed'u') whomever (Mani) you can (Es'tato'tum) other than GOD (Min Duuni-llahi), if (In) you should be (Kuntum) truthful (Soadiqiin)."

11:14  And (Fa) if they do not (illam') respond to you (the believers) (Yas'tajiibu' Lakum’), then (Fa) know (E'lamuu') that (Annamaa) it (the Koran) has been revealed (Unzila) with (Bi) the knowledge of GOD (4:166) (il'mi-llahi) and (Wa) that (An) there is no god (Laa ilaaha) except (illa) HIM (Huwa). Then (Fa) are (Hal') you (Antum) submitters (Mus'limuun)?

11:15  Whoever (Man Kaana) desires (Yuriidu) the worldly (Ed'Dun'ya) life (El'Hayaata) and (Wa) its adornment (Ziinata-haa); We will fulfil (Nuwaffi) their works (A'maala-hum’) for them (ilai'him) therein (Fiihaa), and they (Hum) will not (Laa) be underestimated (Yub'khasuun) therein (Fiihaa).

11:16  Those (U'laaika) are the ones (Ellaziina) for whom (Lahum') is only (Lai'sa illa) the Fire (En'Naaru) in the hereafter (Fiil' Aakhiratin). And (Wa) whatever (Maa) they have done (Sonau') therein (Fiiha) will become worthless (Habito), and whatever (Maa) they have (Kaanu') done (Ya'maluun) will be in vain (Baatilun).

11:17  So is there (Afa-) one who (-man) is (Kaana) upon (Älaa) a proof (Bayyinatin) from (Min) his LORD (Rabbi-hi) and (Wa) a witness (Shaahidun) followed him (Yat'luu-hu) thereof (Min'hu)? And (Wa) before it (Min Qab'li-hi) was the book (Kitaabu) of Moses (Muusaa) as a guide (Imaaman) and a mercy (Rah'matan). Among (Mina) the parties (El'Ah'zaabi) are those (U'laaika) who believe (Yu'minuuna) in it (Bihi) and (Wa) those who (Man) disbelieve (Yak'fur') in it (Bihi), but (Fa) the Fire (En'Naaru) is their appointment (Maw'edu-hu). So do not (Falaa) be (Taku) in (Fii) doubt (Mir'yatin) of it (Min'hu). Indeed, it (Innahu) is the truth (43:78) (El'Haqqu) from (Min) your LORD (s) (Rabbi-ka), but (Walaakinna) most (Ak'thara) of the people (En'Naasi) do not (Laa) believe (Yu'minuun).

11:18  And (Wa) who (Man') is more unjust (Az'lamu) than one who (Mimmani) fabricates (Ef'taraa) falsehood (Kaziban) about GOD (Älaallahi)? Those (U'laaika) will be presented (Yu'raduuna) before (Älaa) their LORD (Rabbi-him), and (Wa) the witnesses (El'Ash'haadu) will say (Yaquulu), "These (Haaulaai) are the ones who (Ellaziina) lied (Kazabu') about (Älaa) their LORD (Rabbi-him)." Verily (Ala), the curse of GOD (La'natu-llahi) is upon (Älaa) the transgressors (Ez'Zoalimiin),

11:19  the ones who (Ellaziina) were repelling (Yasudduuna) from (Än) the way of GOD (Sabiili-llahi) and (Wa) seeking to make it (Yab'guunahaa) crooked (Ewajan) while (Wa) they (Hum) were disbelievers (Kaafiruun) in the hereafter (Bil' Aakhirati).

11:20  Those (U'laaika) were (Yakuunu') not (Lam') causing failure (Mu'jiziina) on earth (Fiil' Ar'di), nor (Wamaa) were (Kaana) there any (Min') guardians (Aw'liyaa'a) for them (Lahum) besides GOD (Min Duuni-llahi); the punishment (El'Äzaab') will be doubled (Yudoa'äfu) for them (Lahumu). They were (Kaanu') not (Maa) able (Yas'tatii'uuna) to hear (Es'Sam'ä), nor (Wamaa) did they (Kaanu') see (Yub'siruun).

11:21  Those (U'laaika) are the ones who (Ellaziina) will have lost (Khasiruu') their souls (Anfusa-hum), and (Wa) what (Maa) they used to (Kaanu') fabricate (Yaf'taruun) diverted from them (Dolla Än'hum).

11:22  There is no (Laa) wrong (Jarama) that (Annahum) they (Humu) will be the worst losers (El'Akh'saruun) in the hereafter (Fiil' Aakhirati).

11:23  Indeed (Inna), those who (Ellaziina) believed (Aamanu’) and (Wa) did (Ämilu') good deeds (Es'Soalihaati) and humbled (Akh'batuu') to (ilaa) their LORD (Rabbi-him); those (U'laaika) will be the companions (As'haabu) of the Garden (El'Jannati), they (Hum') will be therein (Fiiha) eternally (Khaaliduun).

11:24  The example (Mathalu) of the two groups (El'Fariiqai'ni) is like (Ka) the blind (El'A'maa) and the deaf (Wal' Asommi), as well as (Wa) the seer (El'Basiiri) and (Wa) the hearer (Es'Samiie). Are (Hal') they equal (Yas'tawiyaani) in comparison (Mathalan)? Will you then not (Afalaa) take heed (Tazakkaruun)?

11:25  And (Wa) certainly (Laqad') We sent (Ar'sal'naa) Noah (Nuuhan) to (ilaa) his people (Qaw'mi-hi), "Indeed, I am (Innii) a clear (Mubiin) warner (Naziirun) to you (Lakum')

11:26  that (An), do not (Laa) worship (Ta'buduu') except (illa) GOD (Ellah); indeed, I (Innii) fear (Akhaafu) for you (Älai'kum) the punishment (Äzaaba) of a painful (Aliim) day (Yaw'min)."

11:27  Then (Fa) the assembly (El'Malau) of those who (Ellaziina) disbelieved (Kafaru') among (Min) his people (Qaw'mi-hi) said (Qaala), "We only (Maa illa) see you (Noah) (Naraa-ka) as a human (Basharan) like us (Mith'la-naa), and we do not (Wamaa) see you (Naraa-ka) being followed (Ettabaä-ka) except (illa) they (Hum) who (Ellaziina) are lowest of us (Araazilu-naa) initiate (Baadiya) to believe (Er'Ra'yi). And (Wa) we do not (Maa) see (Naraa) you having (Lakum) any (Min) preference (Fad'li) over us (Älai'naa); rather (Bal') we think you (p) (Nazunnu-kum) are liars (Kaazibiin)."

11:28  He (Noah) said (Qaala), "O (Yaa) my people (Qaw'mi), have you considered (Ara'ai'tum'); whether (In) I am (Kuntu) upon (Älaa) a proof (Bayyinatin) from (Min) my LORD (Rabbii) and (Wa) has given me (Aataa-nii) mercy (Rah'matan) from HIM (Min' Endi-hi), but (Fa) it is obscured to you (Ummiyat' Älai'kum)? Should we force it upon you (Anul'zimu-kumuu-haa) while (Wa) you (Antum') are averse (Kaarihuun) to it (Laha)?"

11:29  "And (Wa) O (Yaa) my people (Qaw'mi), I do not (Laa) ask you (As'alu-kum) any money (Maala) for it (Älai'hi). My wage (Aj'riya) is only (In' illa) from GOD (Älaallahi). And (Wa) I am (Ana') not (Maa) to (Bi) repel (Toaridi) those who (Ellaziina) have believed (Aamanu'). Indeed, they (Innahum) will meet (Mulaaqu') their LORD (Rabbi-him), but (Walaakinnii) I see you (Araa-kum) as an ignorant (Taj'haluun) people (Qaw'man).

11:30  "And (Wa) O (Yaa) my people (Qaw'mi), who (Man) could help me (Yansuru-nii) against GOD (Minallahi), if (In) I should repel them (Taradttu-hum’)? Will you then not (Afalaa) take heed (Tazakkaruun)?

11:31  "And (Wa) neither (Walaa) did I tell you (Aquulu La-kum) the treasures of GOD (Khazaa'inu-llahi) are with me (Endii), nor (Walaa) do I (Noah) know (A'lamu) the unseen (El'Gai'ba), nor (Walaa) did I say (Aquulu) I am (Innii) an angel (Malakun), nor (Walaa) did I say (Aquulu) to those whom (Lillaziina) your eyes (A'yunu-kum) despise (Taz'darii) that GOD (Ellahu) will never (Lan) give them (Yu'tiya-humu) any good (Khai'ran); GOD (Ellahu) is aware (A'lamu) of what (Bimaa) is within (Fii) their souls (Anfusi-him). Indeed, I (Innii) in that case (Izan) would be of (Lamina) the transgressors (Ez'Zoalimiin)."

11:32  They said (Qaalu'), "O (Yaa) Noah (Nuuhu), you have (Qad') argued with us (Jaadal'ta-naa) and (Fa) have been frequently (Ak'thar'ta) arguing with us (Jidaala-naa), so bring us (Fa'ti-naa) what (Bimaa) you promised us (Taedu-naa), if (In) you should be (Kunta) of (Mina) the truthful (Es'Soadiqiin)."

11:33  He (Noah) said (Qaala), "GOD (Ellahu) will only (Innama) bring it to you (Ya'tii-kum Bihi), if (In) HE wills (Shaa'a), and (Wa) you (Antum) cannot (Maa Bi) cause failure (Mu'jiziin).

11:34  "And (Wa) my advice (Nus'hii) will not (Laa) benefit you (Yanfau-kum), although (In') I intend (Aradttu) to (An') advise you (Ansoha La-kum), if (In) GOD should (Kaanallahu) intend (Yuriidu) to (An) send you astray (Yug'wiya-kum’). HE (Huwa) is your LORD (Rabbu-kum’), and (Wa) to HIM (ilai'hi) you will be returned (Tur'jauun)."

11:35  Or (Am') are they saying (Yaquuluuna) he (Mohammed) invented it (Ef'taraa-hu)? Say (Qul'): "If (Ini) I have invented it (Ef'tarai'tu-hu), then (Fa) upon me (Älayya) is my crime (Ij'raamii); but (Wa) I am (Ana') free (Bariiun) from what (Mimmaa) you do wrong (Tuj'rimuun)."

11:36  And (Wa) it was inspired (Uuhiya) to (ilaa) Noah (Nuuhin) that (Annahu), "None (Lan) of (Min) your people (Qaw'mi-ka) will believe (Yu'mina) except (illa) those who (Man) have already (Qad') believed (Aamana), so do not (Falaa) be distressed (Tab'tais') by what (Bimaa) they have been (Kaanu') doing (Yaf'äluun).

11:37  "And (Wa) build (Es'nae) a ship (the ark) (El'Ful'ka) before (Bi) Our eyes (A'yuni-naa) and Our inspiration (Wah'yi-naa), and (Wa) do not (Laa) address ME (Tukhaatib'nii) concerning (Fii) those who (Ellaziina) have transgressed (Zolamuu'). Indeed, they (Innahum) will be drowned (Mag'raquun)." (11:45)

11:38  While (Wa) he was building (Yas'nau) the ship (El'Ful'ka), and (Wa) whenever (Kullamaa) a crowd (Malaun) of (Min) his people (Qaw'mi-hi) passed by him (Marra Älai'hi), they ridiculed him (Sakhiru' Min'hu). He (Noah) said (Qaala), "If (In) you ridicule us (Tas'kharu' Minna), then (Fa) indeed (Inna), we will ridicule you (Nas'kharu Minkum) just as (Kamaa) you are ridiculing (Tas'kharuun).

11:39  "And (Fa) you will (Saw'fa) find out (Ta'lamuuna) who (Man) will incur (Ya'tii-hi) the punishment (Äzaabun) which humiliates (Yukh'zii-hi), and (Wa) upon whom (Älai'hi) the permanent (Muqiim) punishment (Äzaabun) will arrive (Yahillu)."

11:40  Until (Hattaa) when (Izaa) Our command (Am'ru-naa) came (Jaa'a) and (Wa) the furnace (Ettannuuru) boiled (Faara), We said (Qul'naa), "Transport (Eh'mil) therein (Fiiha) two (Eth'nai'ni) of (Min) every (Kullin) pair (Zaw'jai'ni) as well as (Wa) your family (Ah'la-ka) and (Wa) whoever (Man') believes (Aamana), except (illa) whom (Man) the word (El'Qaw'lu) will overcome (Sabaqa Älai'hi)." But (Wa) none (Maa) believed (Aamana) with him (Maähu), except (illa) a few (Qaliil).

11:41  And (Wa) he (Noah) said (Qaala), "Embark therein (Er'kabu' Fiihaa); in the name of GOD (Bis'mi-llahi) will be its course (Maj'raa-haa) and its anchorage (Mur'saa-haa). Indeed (Inna), my LORD (Rabbii) is (La) Forgiving (Gafuurun) and Merciful (Rahiim)."

11:42  And (Wa) it (Hiya) sailed (Taj'rii) with them (Bihim') through (Fii) waves (Maw'jin) like (Ka) mountains (El'Jibaali), and Noah (Nuuhun) called (Naadaa) his son (Eb'na-hu), while (Wa) he was (Kaana) in (Fii) isolation (Ma'zilin), "O (Yaa) my son (Bunayya), embark (Er'kab) with us (Maänaa) and do not (Walaa) be (Takun) with (Maä) the disbelievers (71:26) (El'Kaafiriin)."

11:43  He (the son) said (Qaala), "I will seek shelter at (Sa Aawii ilaa) a mountain (Jabalin) to protect me (Ya'simunii) from (Mina) the water (El'Maai)." He (Noah) said (Qaala), "There is no (Laa) protector (Ääsima) today (El'Yaw'ma) against (Min') the command of GOD (65:8) (Am'ri-llahi) except (illa) whom (Man) HE has mercy upon (Rahima)." And (Wa) the waves (El'Maw'ju) passed (Haala) between them both (Bai'nahumaa), and (Fa) he (the son) was (Kaana) among (Mina) the drowned (El'Mug'raqiin).

11:44  And (Wa) it was said (Qiila), "O (Yaa) earth (Ar'du), swallow (Eb'laee) your water (Maa'a-ki), and O (Yaa) sky (Samaa'u), take off (Aq'liee)." And (Wa) the water (El'Maa'u) diminished (Waqusiya), and the command (El'Am'ru) was concluded (Qudiya), and they settled on (Es'tawat' Älaa) Judi (mountain) (El'Juudiyyi), and (Wa) it was said (Qiila), "Away with (Ba'dan) the transgressing (Ez'Zoalimiin) people (-Lil' Qaw'mi)."

11:45  And (Wa) Noah (Nuuhun) called (Naadaa) his LORD (Rabba-hu) and (Fa) said (Qaala), "LORD (Rabbi), indeed (Inna) my son (Eb'nii) is of (Min') my family (Ah'lii), for (Wa) indeed (Inna), YOUR promise (Wa'da-ka) is true (El'Haqqu); and (Wa) YOU (Anta) are the Master (Ah'kamu) of judges (El'Haakimiin)."

11:46  HE (God) said (Qaala), "O (Yaa) Noah (Nuuhu), indeed he (Innahu) is not (Lai'sa) of (Min') your family (Ah'li-ka); indeed, his (Innahu) work (Ämalun) was not (Gai'ru) righteous (Soalihin), so do not (Falaa) implore ME (Tas'al'ni) about (Bihi) what (Maa) you have no (Lai'sa La-ka) knowledge (il'mun). Indeed, I (Innii) admonish you (Noah) (A'ezu-ka), lest (An) you be (Takuuna) among (Mina) the ignorant (El'Jaahiliin)."

11:47  He (Noah) said (Qaala), "LORD (Rabbi), indeed, I (Innii) seek refuge with YOU (A'uuzu Bi-ka), lest (An') I implore YOU (As'ala-ka) about (Bihi) what (Maa) I have no (Lai'sa Lii) knowledge (il'mun). And (Wa) unless (illa) YOU forgive me (Tag'fir' Lii) and have mercy upon me (Tar'ham'nii), I would be (Akun) of (Mina) the losers (El'Khaasiriin)."

11:48  It was said (Qiila), "O (Yaa) Noah (Nuuhu), come down (descend) (Eh'bit') in (Bi) peace (Salaamin) from Us (Minnaa) and (Wa) blessings (Barakaatin) upon you (Älai'ka) and upon (Älaa) nations (Umamin) of those (Mimman) with you (Maäka). As for (Wa) other nations (Umamun) We will make them enjoy (Sa Numattiu-hum'), then (Thumma) a painful (Aliim) punishment (Äzaabun) from Us (Minnaa) will touch them (Yamassu-hum)."

11:49  That (Til'ka) is from (Min') the news (Anbaai) of the unseen (El'Gai'bi) which We inspire (Nuuhiya-haa) to you (Mohammed) (ilai'ka). You (s) (Anta) did (Kunta) not (Maa) know it (Ta'lamu-haa) before (Min Qab'li) this (Haaza), nor (Walaa) your people (Qaw'mu-ka). So (Fa) be patient (Es'bir'); indeed (Inna), the outcome (end) (El'Ääqibata) is for the pious (Lil' Muttaqiin).

11:50  And (Wa) to (ilaa) Ad (Äädin); their brother (Akhaa-hum') Hud (Huudan)*. He said (Qaala), "O (Yaa) my people (Qaw'mi), worship GOD (E'buduu'llaha); you have (Lakum) no (Maa Min') god (ilaahin) other than HIM (Gai'ruhu). You (Antum') are only (In' illa) fabricators (Muf'taruun).

11:51  "O (Yaa) my people (Qaw'mi), I do not (Laa') ask you (As'alu-kum') any wage (Aj'ran) for it (Älai'hi). My wage (reward) (Aj'riya) is only (In' illa) from (Älaa) the One who (Ellazii) created me (Fatoranii). Will you then not (Afalaa) reason (Ta'qiluun)?

11:52  "And (Wa) O (Yaa) my people (Qaw'mi), seek the forgiveness (Es'tag'firu') of your LORD (Rabba-kum') and then (Thumma) repent (Tuubuu') to HIM (ilai'hi). HE will send (Yur'sili) the sky (Es'Samaa'a) showering (raining) (Mid'raaran) upon you (Älai'kum), and (Wa) will increase you (Yazid'kum') in strength (Quwwatan) to (ilaa) your strength (Quwwati-kum'), and do not (Walaa) turn away (Tatawallaw') as criminals (Muj'rimiin)."

11:53  And (Wa) they said (Qaalu'), "O (Yaa) Hud (Huudu), you did not (Maa) bring us (Ji'ta-naa Bi) a proof (Bayyinatin), and (Wa) we (Nah'nu) are not (Maa) to (Bi) leave (Taarikii) our gods (Aalihati-naa) because of (Än) your statement (Qaw'li-ka), nor (Wamaa Bi) are we (Nah'nu) believers (Mu'miniin) in you (Laka).

11:54  "We can only (In illa) say (Naquulu) our gods (Aalihati-naa) have afflicted you (E'taraa-ka) with (Bi) some (Ba'du) evil (Suu'in)." He (Hud) said (Qaala), "Indeed, I (Innii) call GOD to witness (Ush'hidu-llaha), and (Wa) bear witness (Esh'haduu') that I (Annii) am free (Barii'un) from what (Mimmaa) you associate (idolize) (Tush'rikuun)

11:55  besides HIM (Min Duuni-hi); so (Fa) scheme against me (Kai'duu-nii) all together (Jamiiän), and (Wa) do not (Laa) respite me (Tunziruuni).

11:56  "Indeed, I (Innii) have relied (Tawakkal'tu) on GOD (Älaallahi), my LORD (Rabbii) and (Wa) your LORD (Rabbi-kum). There is not (Maa) a (Min) creature (Daabbatin) except (illa) HE (Huwa) seizes (Aakhizu) by (Bi) its forelock (Naasiyati-haa). Indeed (Inna), my LORD (Rabbii) is on (Älaa) a straight (Mus'taqiim) path (Siraatin).

11:57  "And (Fa) if (In) you turn away (Tawallaw'), then (Fa) I have already (Qad') notified you (Ab'lag'tu-kum) what (Maa) I was sent with (Ur'sil'tu Bihi) to you (ilai'kum'). And (Wa) my LORD (Rabbii) will grant succession to (Yas'takh'lifu) a people (Qaw'man) other than you (Gai'rakum'), and you will not (Laa) cause HIM harm (Tadurruunahu) at all (Shai'an). Indeed (Inna), my LORD (Rabbii) is guarding (Hafiizu) over (Älaa) all (Kulli) things (Shai'in)."

11:58  And (Wa) when (Lammaa) Our command (Am'ru-naa) came (Jaa'a), We rescued (Najjai'naa) Hud (Huudan) and those who (Ellaziina) believed (Aamanu') with him (Maähu), by (Bi) mercy (Rah'matin) from Us (Minnaa); and We rescued them (Najjai'naa-hum) from (Min') a rough (Galiiz) punishment (Äzaabin).

11:59  And (Wa) that (Til'ka) was Ad (Äädun); who denied (Jahadu' Bi) the signs (Aayaati) of their LORD (Rabbi-him') and disobeyed (Äsow') HIS messengers (Rusula-hu) and followed (Ettabauu') the command (Am'ra) of all (Kulli) who were tough (Jabbaarin) and stubborn (Äniid).

11:60  And (Wa) they were followed (Ut'biu') in (Fii) this (Haazihi) world (Ed'Dun'yaa) with a curse (La'natan) and (Wa) on the Day of Resurrection (Yaw'mal' Qiyaamati). Verily (Alaa) indeed (Inna), Ad (Äädan) disbelieved (Kafaru') their LORD (Rabba-hum'). Verily (Ala), Ad (Äädin), the people (Qaw'mi) of Hud (Huud) were removed (Bu'dan Li).

11:61  And (Wa) to (ilaa) Thamud (Thamuuda) their brother (Akhaa-hum) Shelah (Soalihan). He said (Qaala), "O (Yaa) my people (Qaw'mi), worship GOD (E'budu'llaha); you have (Lakum) no (Maa Min') god (ilaahin) other than HIM (Gai'ruhu). HE (Huwa) established you (Ansha'a-kum) from (Mina) the earth (El'Ar'di) and (Wa) settled you (Es'ta'mara-kum') therein (Fiihaa), so (Fa) seek HIS forgiveness (Es'tag'firuu-hu) and then (Thumma) repent (Tuubuu') to HIM (ilai'hi). Indeed (Inna), my LORD (Rabbii) is Nearby (Qariibun) and Responsive (Mujiib)."

11:62  They said (Qaalu'), "O (Yaa) Shelah (Soalihu), you have (Qad') been (Kunta) among us (Fiinaa) promising (Mar'juwwan), before (Qab'la) this (Haazaa). Are you forbidding us (A-tan'haa-naa) from (An) worshipping (Na'buda) what (Maa) our fathers (Aabaau-naa) worshipped (Ya'budu)? For (Wa) indeed, we (Innanaa) are in (Lafii) doubt (Shakkin) of what (Mimmaa) you invite us (Tad'uu-naa) to (ilai'hi), by being suspicious (Muriib)."

11:63  He (Shelah) said (Qaala), "O (Yaa) my people (Qaw'mi), have you considered (Ara'ai'tum'); whether (In) I was (Kuntu) upon (Älaa) a proof (Bayyinatin) from (Min) my LORD (Rabbii) and (Wa) has given me (Aataanii) mercy (Rah'matan) from HIM (Min'hu)? So (Fa) who (Man) would help me (Yansurunii) against GOD (Minallahi), if (In') I should disobey HIM (Äsoi'tu-hu)? And (Fa) you cannot (Maa) augment me (Taziiduunanii) other than (Gai'ra) cause loss (Takh'siir).

11:64  "And (Wa) O (Yaa) my people (Qaw'mi), this (Haazihi) is the she-camel (Naaqatu) of GOD (Ellahi) as a sign (Aayatan) for you (Lakum'). So (Fa) let her (Zaruu-ha) feed on (Ta'kul' Fii) the land (Ar'di) of GOD (Ellahi), and do not (Walaa) touch her (Tamassuu-ha) with (Bi) harm (Suu'in), then (Fa) HE will seize you (Ya'khuza-kum') with a nearby (Qariib) punishment (Äzaabun)."

11:65  But (Fa) they butchered her (Äqaruu-haa), so (Fa) he (Shelah) said (Qaala), "Enjoy yourselves (Tamattau') in (Fii) your homes (Daari-kum') for three (Thalaathata) days (Ayyaamin). That (Zaalika) is an undeniable (Gai'ru Mak'zuub) promise (Wa'dun)."

11:66  And (Fa) when (Lammaa) Our command (Am'ru-naa) came (Jaa'a), We rescued (Najjai'naa) Shelah (Soalihan) and (Wa) those who (Ellaziina) believed (Aamanu') with him (Maähu), by (Bi) mercy (Rah'matin) from Us (Minnaa), and (Wa) from (Min') the disgrace (Khiz'yi) on that day (Yaw'mi'izin). Indeed (Inna), your LORD (Rabba-ka) is (Huwa) the POWERFUL (El' Qawiyyu), the ALMIGHTY (El' Äziiz).

11:67  And (Wa) the blast (Es'Soi'hatu) seized (Akhaza) those who (Ellaziina) transgressed (Zolamu'), and (Fa) they started (As'bahu') squatting (Jaathimiin) in (Fii) their homes (Diyaari-him').

11:68  As if (Ka'an) they had not (Lam') prospered (Yag'naw') therein (Fiihaa). Verily (Alaa) indeed (Inna), Thamud (Thamuuda) disbelieved (Kafaru') their LORD (Rabba-hum). Verily (Ala), Thamud (Thamuud) was removed (Bu'dan Li).

11:69  And (Wa) certainly (Laqad') Our messengers (Rusulu-naa) came to (Jaa'at') Abraham (Ib'raahiima) with (Bi) good news (El'Bush'raa); they said (Qaalu'), "Peace (Salaaman)." He said (Qaala), "Peace (Salaamun)," and (Fa) did not (Maa) delay (Labitha) to (An) bring (Jaa'a Bi) roasted (Haniiz) beef (Ej'lin).

11:70  And (Fa) when (Lammaa) he saw (Ra'aa) their hands (Ai'diya-hum') did not (Laa) touch it (Tasilu ilai'hi), he denied them (Nakira-hum') and (Wa) sensed (Aw'jasa) fear (Khiifatan) of them (Min'hum). They said (Qaalu'), "Do not (Laa) fear (Takhaf'), indeed (Innaa) We have been sent (Ur'sil'naa) to (ilaa) the people (Qaw'mi) of Lot (Luut)."

11:71  And (Wa) his wife (Sarah) (Em'ra'atu-hu) was standing (Qaa'imatun), and (Fa) she laughed (Dahikat') when (Fa) We gave her good news (Basshar'naa-haa) of (Bi) Isaac (Is'haaqa), and (Wa) beyond (Min Waraa'i) Isaac (Is'haaqa), Jacob (grandson) (Ya'quub).

11:72  She said (Qaalat'), "O (Yaa) woe to me (Wai'lataa), will I beget (A'alidu) while (Wa) I am (Ana') old (Äjuuzun) and (Wa) this (Haaza) husband of mine (Ba'lii) is old (Shai'khan)? Indeed (Inna), this (Haaza) is (La) something (Shai'un) amazing (Äjiib)!"

11:73  They (the messengers) said (Qaaluu'), "Are you amazed (A-ta'jabiina) at (Min') the command of GOD (Am'ri-llahi)? The mercy of GOD (Rah'matu-llahi) and (Wa) HIS blessings (Barakaatu-hu) are upon you (Älai'kum'), the People of the House (33:33) (Ah'lal' Bai'ti). Indeed, HE (Innahu) is Praiseworthy (Hamiidun) and Glorious (Majiid)."

11:74  And (Fa) when (Lammaa) the fright (Er'Raw'u) had departed (Zahaba) from (Än') Abraham (Ib'raahiima), and (Wa) the good news (El'Bush'raa) had reached him (Jaa'at'hu), he argued with Us (Yujaadilu-naa) concerning (Fii) the people (Qaw'mi) of Lot (Luut).

11:75  Indeed (Inna), Abraham (Ib'raahiima) was (La) clement (Haliimun), appealing (Awwaahun) and repentant (Muniib).

11:76  "O (Yaa) Abraham (Ib'raahiimu), avoid (A'ridu Än') this (Haazaa). Indeed (Innahu), the command (Am'ru) of your LORD (Rabbi-ka) has come (Jaa'a), for (Wa) indeed (Innahum'), a punishment (Äzaabun) without (Gai'ru) repulsion (Mar'duud) will reach them (Aatii-him')."

11:77  And (Wa) when (Lammaa) Our messengers (Rusulu-naa) came to (Jaa'at') Lot (Luutoan), he was offended (Siia) because of them (Bihim') and (Wa) was troubled (Doaqa) because of them (Bihim'), standing (Zar'ään), and (Wa) he (Lot) said (Qaala), "This (Haaza) is a crucial (Äsiibu) day (Yaw'mun)."

11:78  And (Wa) his people (Qaw'mu-hu) came (Jaa'ahu) rushing (Yuh'rauuna) to him (ilai'hi); and (Wa) earlier (Min Qab'lu) they were (Kaanu') doing (Ya'maluuna) evil deeds (Es'Sayy'iaati). He (Lot) said (Qaala), "O (Yaa) my people (Qaw'mi), these (Haaulaai) are my daughters (Banaatii); they (Hunna) are purer (At'haru) for you (Lakum'). So (Fa) beware of GOD (Ettaqu'llaha) and do not (Walaa) disgrace me (Tukh'zuuni) regarding (Fii) my guests (Doi'fii). Is there no (A-lai'sa) man (Rajulun) of common sense (Rashiid) among you (Minkum')?"

11:79  They (the homophiles) said (Qaalu'), "You certainly (Laqad') know (Älim'ta) that we have (Lanaa) no (Maa Min) right (Haqqin) to (Fii) your daughters (Banaati-ka), and (Wa) indeed, you (Lot) (Innaka) are (La) aware (Ta'lamu) of what (Maa) we desire (Nuriid)."

11:80  He (Lot) said (Qaala), "If only (Law' Anna) I had (Lii) strength (Quwwatan) against you (Bikum') or (Aw') could seek asylum from (Aawii ilaa) a strong (Shadiid) support (Ruk'nin)!"

11:81  They (the Angels) said (Qaalu'), "O (Yaa) Lot (Luutu), indeed We (Innaa) are messengers (Rusulu) of your LORD (Rabbi-ka); they will never (Lan) touch you (Yasiluu' ilai'ka). So (Fa) travel with (As'ri Bi) your family (Ah'li-ka) in (Bi) a portion (Qit'e) of (Mina) the night (Ellai'li) and (Wa) let (Yal'-) none (Laa Ahadun) of you (Minkum') turn around (-tafit'), except (illa) your wife (Em'ra'ata-ka); indeed (Innahu), she will be afflicted (Musiibu-haa) by what (Maa) will strike them (Asoaba-hum'). Indeed (Inna), their appointment (Maw'eda-humu) is early in the morning (Es'Sub'hu). Is (A-) early morning (Es'Sub'hu) not (-lai'sa Bi) near (Qariib)?"

11:82  So (Fa) when (Lammaa) Our command (Am'ru-naa) came (Jaa'a), We made (Jaäl'naa) its high part (Ääliya-haa) became its base (Saafila-haa) and (Wa) We showered (Am'tar'naa) stones (Hijaaratan) of (Min) layered (Manduudi) shales (Sijjiilin) upon them (Älai'haa).

11:83  Marked (Musawwamatan) by (Enda) your LORD (Rabbi-ka); for (Wa) it (Hiya) was not (Maa Bi) far (Baeed) from (Mina) the transgressors (Ez'Zoalimiina).

11:84  And (Wa) to (ilaa) Midian (Mad'yana) their brother (Akhaa-hum') Shuaib (Shuäi'ban). He said (Qaala), "O (Yaa) my people (Qaw'mi), worship GOD (E'budu'llaha); you have (Lakum) no (Maa Min') god (ilaahin) other than HIM (Gai'ruhu). And (Wa) do not (Laa) decrease (Tanqusu') from the gauge (El'Mik'yaala) and the balance (Wal' Miizaana). Indeed, I (Innii) see you (Araa-kum) in (Bi) prosperity (Khai'rin), but (Wa) indeed, I (Innii) fear for you (Akhaafu Älai'kum') the punishment (Äzaaba) of an encompassing (Muhiit) day (Yaw'min).

11:85  "And (Wa) O (Yaa) my people (Qaw'mi), fulfil (Aw'fu') the gauge (El'Mik'yaala) and the balance (Wal' Miizaana) in justice (Bil' Qis'ti). And do not (Walaa) depreciate (Tab'khasu') the people (En'Naasa) of their things (Ash'yaa'a-hum'), and (Wa) do not (Laa) behave wickedly (Ta'thaw') on earth (Fiil' Ar'di) as corrupters (Muf'sidiin).

11:86  "GOD (Ellahi) as remainder (Baqiyyatu) is better (Khai'run) for you (Lakum'), if (In) you should be (Kuntum) believers (Mu'miniina). And (Wa) I am (Ana') not (Maa Bi) a guardian (Hafiiz) over you (Älai'kum)."

11:87  They said (Qaalu'), "O (Yaa) Shuaib (Shuäi'bu), does your communication (9:103) (A-solaatu-ka) suggest you (Ta'muru-ka) that (An) we should leave (Nat'ruka) what (Maa) our fathers (Aabaau-naa) worshipped (Ya'budu) or (Aw') we should not (An) do (Naf'äla) with (Fii) our wealth (Am'waali-naa) what (Maa) we want (Nashaau)? Indeed (Innaka), you (Anta) are (La) clement (El'Haliimu) and sensible (Er'Rashiid)!"

11:88  He (Shuaib) said (Qaala), "O (Yaa) my people (Qaw'mi), have you considered (A-ra'ai'tum'); whether (In) I am (Kuntu) upon (Älaa) a proof (Bayyinatin) from (Min) my LORD (Rabbii) and (Wa) has provided me (Razaqanii) good (Hasanan) sustenance (Riz'qan) from HIM (Min'hu)? I do not (Maa) intend (Uriidu) to (An') conflict with you (Ukhaalifa-kum) for (ilaa) what (Maa) I have forbidden you (An'haa-kum' Än'hu); I only (In' illa) desire (Uriidu) as much as (Maa) I can (Es'tato'tu). And (Wa) my success (Taw'fiiqii) is only (Maa illa) by GOD (Billahi). On HIM (Älai'hi) I have relied (Tawakkal'tu) and (Wa) to HIM (ilai'hi) I repent (Uniib).

11:89  "And (Wa), O (Yaa) my people (Qaw'mi), do not let (Laa) my dissension (Shiqaaqii) incriminate you (Yaj'rimannakum'), lest (An) you would be struck (Yusiiba-kum) by the like (Mith'lu) of what (Maa) struck (Asoaba) the people (Qaw'ma) of Noah 1 (Nuuhin), or (Aw') the people (Qaw'ma) of Hud 2 (Huudin), or (Aw') the people (Qaw'ma) of Shelah 3 (Soalihin), and (Wa) the people (Qaw'mu) of Lot 4 (Luutin) were not (Maa Bi) far (Baeed) from you (Minkum).

11:90  "So (Wa) seek the forgiveness (Es'tag'firu') of your LORD (Rabba-kum') and then (Thumma) repent (Tuubuu') to HIM (ilai'hi). Indeed (Inna), my LORD (Rabbii) is Merciful (Rahiimun) and Affectionate (Waduud)."

11:91  They said (Qaalu'), "O (Yaa) Shuaib (Shuäi'bu), we do not (Maa) comprehend (Naf'qahu) much (Kathiira) of what (Mimmaa) you say (Taquulu), and (Wa) indeed, we (Innaa) consider you (La Naraa-ka) weak (Doeefa) among us (Fiinaa). And (Wa) if not for (Law'laa) your family (Rah'tu-ka), we would have (La) stoned you (Rajam'naa-ka); for (Wa) you are not (Maa Bi) dear (Äziiz) to us (Älai'naa)."

11:92  He (Shuaib) said (Qaala), "O (Yaa) my people (Qaw'mi), is my family (A'rah'tii) dearer (Aäzzu) to you (Älai'kum) than GOD (Minallahi), and (Wa) you put HIM (Ettakhaz'tumuu-hu) behind (Zih'riyyan) your backs (Waraa'akum')? Indeed (Inna), my LORD (Rabbii) is conscious of (Muhiit Bi) what (Maa) you do (Ta'maluuna).

11:93  "And (Wa) O (Yaa) my people (Qaw'mi), work (E'malu') according to (Älaa) your position (Makaanati-kum'); indeed, I am (Innii) working (Äämilun). You will (Saw'fa) find out (Ta'lamuuna) who (Man) will incur (Ya'tii-hi) the punishment (Äzaabun) which humiliates (Yukh'zii-hi) and who (Waman') is (Huwa) a liar (Kaazibun). So (Wa) anticipate (Er'taqibuu'); indeed, I am (Innii) watching (Raqiib) with you (Maäkum')."

11:94  And (Wa) when (Lammaa) Our command (Am'ru-naa) came (Jaa'a), We rescued (Najjai'naa) Shuaib (Shuäi'ban) and those who (Ellaziina) believed (Aamanu') with him (Maähu), by (Bi) mercy (Rah'matin) from Us (Minnaa). And (Wa) the blast (Es'Soi'hatu) seized (Akhazati) those who (Ellaziina) transgressed (Zolamu'), and (Fa) they started (As'bahu') squatting (Jaathimiin) in (Fii) their homes (Diyaari-him'),

11:95  as if (Ka'an) they had not (Lam') prospered (Yag'naw') therein (Fiihaa). Verily (Ala), Midian (Mad'yana) was removed (Bu'dan Li) as (Kamaa) Thamud (Thamuud) was removed (Baedat').

11:96  And (Wa) We certainly (Laqad') sent (Ar'sal'naa) Moses (Muusaa) with (Bi) Our signs (Aayaati-naa) and (Wa) a clear (Mubiini) authority (Sul'toanin)

11:97  to (ilaa) Pharaoh (Fir'äw'na) and (Wa) his assembly (Malai'hi), but (Fa) they followed (Ettabauu') Pharaoh's (Fir'äw'na) command (Am'ra), while (Wa) the command (Am'ru) of Pharaoh (Fir'äw'na) was not (Maa Bi) reasonable (Rashiid).

11:98  He (Pharaoh) will lead (Yaq'dumu) his people (Qaw'ma-hu) on the Day of Resurrection (Yaw'mal' Qiyaamati) and (Fa) present them (Aw'rada-humu) to the Fire (En'Naara); and (Wa) wretched (Bi'sa) is the presentation (El'Wir'du) of the presenter (El'Maw'ruud).

11:99  And (Wa) they have been followed (Ut'biu') with a curse (La'natan) in (Fii) this (world) (Haazihi) and the Day of Resurrection (Yaw'mal' Qiyaamati); wretched (Bi'sa) is the gift (Er'Rif'du) of the aid (El'Mar'fuud).

11:100  That (Zaalika) is from (Min') the news (Anbaai) of the towns (El'Quraa) which We narrate (Naqussu-hu) to you (s) (Älai'ka). Some of them (Min'haa) are standing (Qaa'imun) as (Wa) a crop (Hasiid).

11:101  And (Wa) We did not (Maa) wrong them (Zalam'naa-hum') but (Walaakin) they wronged (Zolamuu') themselves (Anfusa-hum'). And (Fa) “their gods” (Aalihatu-humu) which (Ellatii) they invoked (Yad'uuna) besides GOD (Min Duuni-llahi) did not (Maa) avail them (Ag'nat' Än'hum') at all (Min Shai'in) when (Lamaa) the command (Am'ru) of your LORD (s) (Rabbi-ka) came (Jaa'a). And (Wa) they did not (Maa) augment them (Zaaduu-hum') other than (Gai'ra) to perish (Tat'biib).

11:102  And (Wa) thus (Kazaalika) is the seizure (Akh'zu) of your LORD (Rabbi-ka) when (Izaa) HE seizes (Akhaza) the towns (El'Quraa) while (Wa) they (Hiya) were transgressing (Zoalimatun). Indeed (Inna), HIS seizure (Akh'za-hu) is painful (Aliimun) and severe (Shadiid).

11:103  Indeed (Inna), there is (La) a sign (Aayatan) in (Fii) that (Zaalika) for whoever (Liman') fears (Khaafa) the punishment (Äzaaba) of the hereafter (El'Aakhirati). That (Zaalika) is a day (Yaw'mun) for which (Lahu) the people (En'Naasu) will be gathered (Maj'muu'un), and (Wa) that (Zaalika) is a day (Yaw'mun) to be witnessed (Mash'huud).

11:104  And (Wa) We do not (Maa) delay it (Nuakkhiru-hu) except (illa) for (Li) a limited (Ma'duud) term (Ajalin).

11:105  The day (Yaw'ma) it (the Hour) comes (Ya'ti), no (Laa) soul (Naf'sun) will speak (Takallamu) except (illa) by (Bi) HIS permission (Iz'ni-hi). And (Fa) some of them (Min'hum') will be unhappy (Shaqiyyun) and (Wa) others will be happy (Saeed).

11:106  But (Fa) as for (Ammaa) those who (Ellaziina) will be unhappy (Shaqu') and (Fa) in (Fii) the Fire (En'Naari), for them (Lahum') therein (Fiiha) is exhaling (Zafiirun) and (Wa) inhaling (Shahiiq);

11:107  eternally (Khaalidiina) therein (Fiiha) as long as (Maadaamati) the heavens (Es'Samaawaatu) and the earth (Wal' Ar'du), except (illa) what (Maa) your LORD (Rabbu-ka) wills (Shaa'a). Indeed (Inna), your LORD (Rabba-ka) is doer (Fa'äälun) of what (Limaa) HE intends (Yuriid).

11:108  And (Wa) as for (Ammaa) those who (Ellaziina) will be happy (Suedu') and (Fa) in (Fii) the Garden (El'Jannati), they will be therein (Fiiha) eternally (Khaalidiina) as long as (Maadaamati) the heavens (Es'Samaawaatu) and the earth (Wal' Ar'du), except (illa) what (Maa) your LORD (Rabbu-ka) wills (Shaa'a); giving (Ätoa'an) without (Gai'ra) cutting off (Maj'zuuz).

11:109  So (Fa) do not (Laa) be (Taku) in (Fii) doubt (Mir'yatin) of what (Mimmaa) these people (Haa'ulaai) worship (Ya'budu); they only (Maa illa) worship (Ya'buduuna) as (Kamaa) their fathers (Aabaa'u-hum) worshipped (Ya'budu) before (Min Qab'lu). And (Wa) indeed, We (Innaa) will (La) pay them (Muwaffuu-hum') their share (Nasiiba-hum') without (Gai'ra) reduction (Manquus).

11:110  And (Wa) We certainly (Laqad') gave (Aatai'naa) Moses (Muusa) the Book (El'Kitaaba), but (Fa) it was disputed (Ekh'tulifa Fiihi). And (Wa) if not (Law' laa) a word (Kalimatun) had preceded (Sabaqat') from (Min) your LORD (Rabbi-ka), HE would have (La) judged (Qudiya) between them (Bai'nahum'). For (Wa) indeed, they (Innahum') are in (Lafii) doubt (Shakkin) thereof (Min'hu), being suspicious (Muriibi). (41:45)

11:111  And (Wa) indeed (Inna), after all (Kullan Lammaa) your LORD (Rabbu-ka) will (La) pay them (Yuwaffiyannahum') their deeds (A'maala-hum'). Indeed, HE (Innahu) is conversant (Khabiiru) with what (Bimaa) they do (Ya'maluuna).

11:112  So (Fa) remain upright (Es'taqim') as (Kamaa) you have been commanded (s) (Umir'ta) together with (Wa) whoever (Man) repents (Taaba) with you (s) (Maäka), and do not (Walaa) transgress (Tat'gaw'). Indeed, HE (Innahu) is cognizant (Basiiru) of what (Bimaa) you do (Ta'maluun).

11:113  And (Wa) do not (Laa) depend on (Tar'kanuu' ilaa) those who (Ellaziina) transgress (Zolamu'), then (Fa) you would be touched (Tamassa-kumu) by the Fire (En'Naaru), and (Wa) you would have (Lakum) no (Maa Min') guardians (Aw'liyaa'a) besides GOD (Min Duuni-llahi); then (Thumma) you would not (Laa) be helped (Tunsoruun).

11:114  And (Wa) establish (Aqimi) the Litany (Es'Solaata) at the two sides (Torafayi) of the day (En'Nahaari) and (Wa) the advancement (Zulafan) of (Mina) the night (Ellai'li). Indeed (Inna), good deeds (El'Hasanaati) eliminate (Yuz'hib'na) bad deeds (Es'Sayyi'aati); that (Zaalika) is a remembrance (Zik'raa) for those who remember (Liz' Zaakiriin). (17:78-79)

11:115  And (Wa) be patient (Es'bir'); for (Fa) indeed, GOD (Innallaha) does not (Laa) waste (Yudiiu) the reward (Aj'ra) of the benevolent (El'Muh'siniin).

11:116  So (Fa) why (Law') were (Kaana) there not (Laa) among (Mina) the generations (El'Quruuni) before you (Min Qab'li-kum') those (U'lu') of perseverance (Baqiyyatin) who forbade (Yan'haw'na Äni) corruption (El'Fasaadi) on earth (Fiil' Ar'di), except (illa) a few (Qaliilan) of those (Mimman') We rescued (Anjai'naa) among them (Min'hum')? But (Wa) those who (Ellaziina) transgressed (Zolamu') pursued (Ettabaä) what (Maa) was surrounded with luxury (Ut'rifu') therein (Fiihi), and (Wa) they became (Kaanu') criminals (Muj'rimiin).

11:117  And (Wa) your LORD (Rabbu-ka) is (Kaana) not (Maa) to (Li) destroy (Yuh'lika) the towns (El'Quraa) by (Bi) injustice (6:131) (Zul'min) while (Wa) their people (Ah'lu-haa) are reformers (Mus'lihuun).

11:118  And (Wa) if (Law') your LORD (Rabbu-ka) had willed (Shaa'a), HE could have (La) made (Jaäla) mankind (En'Naasa) a single (Waahidatan) nation (Ummatan); but (Wa) they will not (Laa) cease (Yazaaluuna) disputing (Mukh'talifiin), (2:213)

11:119  except (illa) whom (Man) your LORD (Rabbu-ka) has mercy upon (Rahima), and (Wa) for that (Lizaalika) HE created them (Khalaqa-hum'); and (Wa) the word (Kalimatu) of your LORD (Rabbi-ka) is completed (Tammat') that (La), "I (God) will fill (Am'la'anna) Hell (Jahannama) with (Mina) jinns (El'Jinnati) and (Wa) people (En'Naasi), all together (Aj'maeen)."

11:120  And (Wa) each (Kullan) We narrate (Naqussu) to you (s) (Älai'ka) from (Min') the news (Anbaa'i) of the messengers (40:78) (Er'Rusuli) by (Bihi) which (Maa) We reinforce (Nuthabbitu) your mind (Fuaada-ka). The truth (El'Haqqu) has come to you (s) (Jaa'a-ka) in (Fii) this (Haazihi) and (Wa) as preachment (Maw'ezotun) and remembrance (Zik'raa) for the believers (Lil' Mu'miniin).

11:121  And (Wa) tell (Qul) those who (Lillaziina) do not (Laa) believe (Yu'minuuna), "Work (E'malu') according to (Älaa) your position (Makaanati-kum'); indeed, we (Innaa) are working (Äämiluun).

11:122  "And (Wa) wait (Entaziruu'); indeed, we (Innaa) are waiting (Muntaziruun)."

11:123  And (Wa) to GOD belongs (Lillahi) the unseen (Gai'bu) of the heavens (Es'Samaawaati) and the earth (Wal' Ar'di) and to HIM (ilai'hi) returns (Yar'jau) the matter (El'Am'ru), all of it (Kulluhu); so (Fa) worship HIM (E'bud'hu) and (Wa) rely on HIM (Tawakkal' Älai'hi). For (Wa) your LORD (Rabbu-ka) is not (Maa Bi) heedless (Gaafilin) of what (Ämmaa) you do (Ta'maluun).
