T (To), S (Siim), M (Miim):
These (Til'ka) are signs (symbols) (Aayaatu) of the Clear (El'Mubiin) Book (El'Kitaabi).
Perhaps you (s) (Laällaka) would get rid of (Baakhi'un) yourself (Naf'sa-ka) that they will not (Alla) be (Yakuunu') believers (Mu'miniin).
If (In) We willed (Nasha'), We could reveal (Nunazzil’) a sign (Aayatan) from (Mina) the sky (Es'Samaai) to them (Älai'him), then (Fa) their necks (A'naaqu-hum) would remain (Zollat’) submissive(Khaadieen) to it (Lahaa).
And (Wa) no (Maa Min) remembrance (Zik'rin) comes to them (Ya'tii-him) anew (Muh'dathin) from (Mina) the GRACIOUS (Er' Rah'maani) except (illa) they are (Kaanu') turning away from it (Mu'ridiin Än'hu).
Thus (Fa) have they (Qad') denied (Kazzabu'), so (Fa) the news (Anbaau') of what (Maa) they have been (Kaanu') ridiculing (Yas'tah'ziuun Bihi) will come to them (Sa Ya'tii-him).
Or did they not (Awalam') look at (Yaraw' ilaa) the earth (El'Ar'di); how many (Kam') of (Min) every (Kulli) noble (Kariim) kind (Zaw'jin) We have germinated (Anbat'naa) therein (Fiihaa)?
Indeed (Inna), there is (La) a sign (Aayatan) in (Fii) that (Zaalika), but (Wa) most of them (Ak'tharu-hum) are (Kaana) not (Maa) believers (Mu'miniin).
And (Wa) indeed (Inna), your LORD (s) (Rabba-ka) is (Lahuwa) the ALMIGHTY (El' Äziizu), the MERCIFUL (Er' Rahiim). 1
And (Wa) when (Iz') your LORD (s) (Rabbu-ka) called (Naadaa) Moses (Muusaa) that (Ani), "Go to (E'ti) the transgressing (Ez'Zoalimiin) people (El'Qaw'ma);
the people (Qaw'ma) of Pharaoh (Fir'äw'na), ‘Will they not (Ala) be pious (Yattaquun)?’”
He (Moses) said (Qaala), "LORD (Rabbi), indeed I (Innii) fear (Akhaafu) that (An) they will deny me (Yukazzibuuni).
"And (Wa) my bosom (Sod'rii) will tighten (Yadiiqu) and my tongue (Lisaanii) will not (Laa) deliver (Yantaliqu), so (Fa) send (Ar'sil) for (ilaa) Aaron (Haaruun).
"And (Wa) they have (Lahum) a crime (sin) (Zanbun) upon me (Älayya), so (Fa) I fear (Akhaafu) that (An) they will kill me (Yaq'tuluuni)."
HE (God) said (Qaala), "Nay (Kalla)! Then (Fa) go (Ez'haba) with (Bi) Our signs (miracles) (Aayaati-naa). Indeed, We (Innaa) are with you (Maäkum), listening (Mus'tamiuun).
"So they went to (Fa'tiya) Pharaoh (Fir'äw'na) and (Fa) said (Quulaa), 'Indeed, we (Innaa) are messengers (Rasuulu) of the LORD (Rabbi) of the worlds (El'Äälamiin),
that (An') send (Ar'sil) the Children of Israel (Banii Is'raa'iil) along with us (Maänaa)."
He (Pharaoh) said (Qaala), "Did we not (Alam') raise you (Moses) (Nurabbi-ka) among us (Fiina) as a child (Waliidan), and (Wa) you lingered (Labith'ta) among us (Fiina) for (Min') years (Siniin) of your life (Umuri-ka)?
"And (Wa) you committed (Faäl'ta) your act (Fa'lata-ka) which (Ellatii) you committed (Faäl'ta), while (Wa) you (Anta) were one of (Mina) the disbelievers (El'Kaafiriin)?" (28:33)
He (Moses) said (Qaala), "I did it (Faäl'tu-haa) then (Izaan), while (Wa) I was (Ana') of (Mina) the misguided (Ed'Doalliin).
"So (Fa) I fled (Farar'tu) from you (Minkum’), when (Lamma) I feared you (Khif'tu-kum’), but (Fa) my LORD (Rabbii) granted me (Wahaba Lii) judgement (Huk'man) and (Wa) made me (Jaäla-nii) one of (Mina) the messengers (El'Mur'saliin).
"And (Wa) these (Til'ka) were favours (Ni'matun) which you obliged me (Tamunnu-haa Älayya) in order to (An') enslave (Äbbadtta) the Children of Israel (Banii Is'raa'iil)."
Pharaoh (Fir'äw'nu) said (Qaala), "And (Wa) what (who) (Maa) is the LORD (Rabbu) of the worlds (El'Äälamiin)?"
He (Moses) said (Qaala), "The LORD (Rabbu) of the heavens (Es'Samaawaati) and the earth (Wal' Ar'di) and whatever (Wamaa) is between them (Bai'nahumaa), if (In) you should be (Kuntum) certain (Muuqiniin)."
He (Pharaoh) said (Qaala) to those (Liman') around him (Haw'la-hu), "Did you not (Ala) hear (Tas'tamiuun)?
"He said (Qaala), 'Your LORD (Rabbu-kum) and (Wa) the LORD (Rabbu) of your forefathers (Aabaai-kumul' Awwaliin)!'?"
He (Pharaoh) said (Qaala), "Indeed (Inna), your messenger (Rasuula-kumu) who (Ellazii) has been sent (Ur'sila) for you (p) (ilai'kum) is (La) crazy (Maj'nuun)!
"He said (Qaala), 'The LORD (Rabbu) of the east (El'Mash'riqi) and the west (Wal' Mag'ribi) and whatever (Wamaa) is between both (Bai'nahumaa), if (In) you should (Kuntum) reason (Ta'qiluun)’?"
He (Pharaoh) said (Qaala), "Indeed, if (La'ini) you accept (Ettakhaz'ta) a god (ilaahan) other than me (Gai'rii), I will (La) place you (Moses) (Aj'älanna-ka) among (Mina) the prisoners (El'Mas'juuniina)."
He (Moses) said, "What if (Awalaw') I have brought you (Pharaoh) (Ji'tu-ka Bi) something (Shai'in) plain (Mubiin)?"
He (Pharaoh) said (Qaala), "Then bring it (Fa'ti Bi-hi), if (In) you should be (Kunta) of (Mina) the truthful (Es'Soadiqiin)."
So (Fa) he (Moses) threw (Al'qaa) his staff (Äsoa-hu) and (Fa) then (Izaa) it (Hiya) became a plain (Mubiin) snake (Thu'baanun).
And (Wa) he removed (Nazaä) his hand (Yada-hu) and (Fa) then (Izaa) it (Hiya) became white (Bai'doau) for the observers (Lin' Naaziriin).
He (Pharaoh) said (Qaala) to the crowd (Lil' Malai) around him (Haw'la-hu), "Indeed (Inna), this (Haazaa) is (La) an erudite (learned) (Äliim) sorcerer (Saahiru).
"He intends (Yuriidu) to (An) expel you (p) (Yukh'rija-kum) from (Min') your land (Ar'di-kum) with (Bi) his sorcery (Sih'ri-hi), so (Fa) what (Maaza) do you suggest (Ta'muruun)?"
They said (Qaaluu'), "Delay him (Ar'jih') and (Wa) his brother (Akhaa-hu), and (Wa) send (Eb'äth') gatherers (Haashiriin) into (Fii) the cities (El'Madaa'ini)
to bring you (Ya'tuu-ka Bi) every (Kulli) erudite (Äliim) sorcerer (Sahhaarin)."
Thus (Fa) the sorcerers (Es'Saharatu) were assembled (Jumiä) for (Li) the appointed time (Miiqaati) of a well-known (Ma'luum) day (Yaw'min). (20:59)
And (Wa) the people (Naasi) were told (Qiila Li), "Have (Hal') you (p) (Antum) assembled (Muj'tamiuun)?
"Perhaps we (Laällanaa) will follow (Nattabiu) the sorcerers (Es'Saharata), if (In) they (Humu) are (Kaanu') the winners (El'Gaalibiin)."
So (Fa) when (Lammaa) the sorcerers (Es'Saharatu) came (Jaa'a), they said (Qaalu') to (Li) Pharaoh (Fir'äw'na), "Will we indeed (A'inna) have (Lanaa) a (La) reward (Aj'ran) if (In) we (Nah'nu) are (Kunnaa) the winners (El'Gaalibiin)?"
He (Pharaoh) said (Qaala), "Yes (Naäm'); indeed, you (Innakum') in that case (Izan) will be among (Lamina) those nearby (El'Muqarrabiin)."
Moses (Muusaa) said (Qaala) to them (Lahum), "Throw (Al'qu') what (Maa) you (Antum) will throw (Mul'quun)."
So (Fa) they (the sorcerers) threw (Al'qaw') their ropes (Hibaala-hum') and (Wa) their sticks (Esiyya-hum') and said (Qaalu'), "By (Bi) the might (Ezzati) of Pharaoh (Fir'äw'na), indeed (Innaa) we (Nah'nu) will be (La) the winners (El'Gaalibuun)."
Then (Fa) Moses (Muusaa) threw (Al'qaa) his staff (stick) (Äsoa-hu) and (Fa) then (Izaa) it (Hiya) seized (Tal'qafu) what (Maa) they falsified (Ya'fikuun).
And (Fa) the sorcerers (Es'Saharatu) dropped down (Ul'qiya) in prostration (Saajidiin). (7:120)
They said (Qaaluu'), "We have believed (Aamanna) in (Bi) the LORD (Rabbi) of the worlds (El'Äälamiin),
the LORD (Rabbi) of Moses (Muusaa) and (Wa) Aaron (Haaruun)."
He (Pharaoh) said (Qaala), "Did you believe him (Aamantum' Lahu) before (Qab'la An') I permit you (Aazana La-kum')? Indeed, he (Moses) (Innahu) is (La) your senior (Kabiiru-kum) who (Ellazii) has taught you (Ällama-kumu) sorcery (Es'Sih'ra). So (Fa) you will (La Saw'fa) find out (Ta'lamuuna), I will (La) amputate (Uqattiänna) your hands (Ai'diya-kum') and (Wa) your legs (Ar'jula-kum) from (Min') opposite sides (Khilaafin), and I will (La) crucify you (Usollibanna-kum') all together (Aj'maeen)." (20:71)
They said (Qaalu'), "There is no (Laa) harm (Doi'ra). Indeed, we (Innaa) will return (Munqalibuun) to (ilaa) our LORD (Rabbi-naa).
"Indeed (Innaa), we hope (Nat'mau) that (An) our LORD (Rabbu-naa) will forgive us (Yag'fira Lanaa) our mistakes (Khatoayaa-naa) since (An) we were (Kunnaa) the first (Awwala) of believers (El'Mu'miniin)."
And (Wa) We inspired (Aw'hai'naa) to (ilaa) Moses (Muusaa) that (An'), "Travel with (As'ri Bi) MY servants (Ebaadiya); indeed, you (Innakum) will be pursued (Muttabauun)."
Then (Fa) Pharaoh (Fir'äw'nu) sent (Ar'sala) gatherers (Haashiriin) into (Fii) the cities (El'Madaa'ini).
"Indeed (Inna), these people (Haaulaai) are (La) a small (Qaliiluun) gang (group) (Shir'zimatun),
but (Wa) indeed, they (Innahum') are (La) irritating us (Gaaizuun Lanaa).
"And (Wa) so let us (Innaa La) all (Jamiiun) watch out (Haaziruun)."
Consequently (Fa), We ousted them (Akh'raj'naa-hum) from (Min) the gardens (Jannaatin) with (Wa) springs (Uyuun)
as well as (Wa) treasures (Kunuuzin) and (Wa) an honourable (Kariim) place (Maqaamin).
Thus (Kazaalika) We caused the Children of Israel (Banii Is'raa'iil) to inherit them (-Aw'rath'naa-haa).
For (Fa) they (the Children of Israel) were pursued (At'bauu-hum) to the east (Mush'riqiin).
And (Fa) when (Lammaa) the two assemblies (El'Jam'ääni) saw each other (Taraa'a), the companions (As'haabu) of Moses (Muusaa) said (Qaala), "Indeed, we (Innaa) will surely (La) be caught (Mud'rakuun)!"
He (Moses) said (Qaala), "Nay (Kallaa)! Indeed (Inna), my LORD (Rabbii) is with me (Maeya); HE will guide me (Sa Yah'diini)."
Then (Fa) We inspired (Aw'hai'naa) to (ilaa) Moses (Muusaa) that (Ani), "Strike (Ed'rib) the sea (El'Bah'ra) with (Bi) your staff (Äsoa-ka)," and then (Fa) it split (Enfalaqa), and (Fa) each (Kullu) part (Fir'qin) became (Kaana) like (Ka) a huge (El'Äziim) mountain (Tow'di).
And (Wa) We brought the others (El'Aakhariin) near (-Az'laf'naa) there (Thamma).
And (Wa) We rescued (Anjai'naa) Moses (Muusaa) and those (Waman) with him (Maähu), all together (Aj'maeen).
Then (Thumma) We drowned (Ag'raq'naa) the others (the enemies) (El'Aakhariin).
Indeed (Inna), there is (La) a sign (Aayatan) in (Fii) that (Zaalika), but (Wa) most of them (Akh'tharu-hum) are (Kaana) not (Maa) believers (Mu'miniin).
And (Wa) indeed (Inna), your LORD (s) (Rabba-ka) is (Lahuwa) the ALMIGHTY (El' Äziizu), the MERCIFUL (Er' Rahiim). 2
And (Wa) recite to them (Et'lu Älai'him') the news (Naba'a) of Abraham (Ib'raahiim),
when (Iz') he said (Qaala) to (Li) his father (Abii-hi) and (Wa) his people (Qaw'mi-hi), "What (Maa) are you worshipping (Ta'buduun)?"
They said (Qaalu'), "We worship (Na'budu) idols (As'naaman) and (Fa) we remain (Nazollu) devoted (Ääkifiin) to them (Lahaa)."
He (Abraham) said (Qaala), "Do (Hal') they hear you (Yas'mauunakum') when (Iz') you invoke (Tad'uun),
or (Aw') do they benefit you (Yanfauunakum') or (Aw') harm (Yadurruun)?"
They said (Qaalu'), "In fact (Bal'), we found (Wajad'naa) our fathers (Aabaa'a-naa) doing (Yaf'äluun) likewise (Kazaalika)."
He (Abraham) said (Qaala), "Have you then (Afa-) considered (-ra'ai'tum) what (Maa) you have been (Kuntum') worshipping (Ta'buduun);
you (p) (Antum') and (Wa) your ancestors (Aabaau-kumul' Aq'damuun)?
"For (Fa) indeed, they (Innahum') are enemies (Äduwwun) to me (Lii) except (illa) the LORD (Rabba) of the worlds (El'Äälamiin),
the One who (Ellaziin) created me (Khalaqanii), and (Fa) HE (Huwa) guides me (Yah'diini).
"And (Wa) HE (Huwa) is the One who (Ellazii) feeds me (Yut'emunii) and gives me to drink (Yas'qiini).
"And (Wa) when (Izaa) I am sick (Marid'tu), thence (Fa) HE (Huwa) heals me (Yash'fiini).
"And (Wa) the One who (Ellazii) will cause me to die (Yumiitu-nii) and then (Thumma) cause me to live (Yuh'yiini).
"And (Wa) the One whom (Ellazii), I hope (At'mau) that (An) HE will forgive me (Yag'fira Lii) my fault (Khatiia'tii) on the Day of Judgement (Yaw'ma-d'Diini)."
"LORD (Rabbi), grant me (Hab' Lii) judgement (Huk'man) and (Wa) enrol me (Al'hiq'nii) with (Bi) the righteous (Es'Soalihiin).
"And (Wa) grant me (Ej'äl Lii) a reputation (Lisaana) of integrity (19:50) (Sid'qin) for (Fii) the later generations (El'Aakhiriin).
"And (Wa) place me (Ej'äl'nii) among (Min) the inheritors (Warathati) of the Garden (Jannati) of Bliss (En'Naeem).
"And (Wa) forgive (Eg'fir' Li) my father (Abii). Indeed, he (Innahu) has been (Kaana) of (Mina) the misguided (Ed'Doalliin). (9:114)
"And (Wa) do not (Laa) disgrace me (Tukh'zi-nii) on the day (Yaw'ma) they are resurrected (Yub'äthuun);
the day (Yaw'ma) neither (Laa) wealth (Maalun) nor (Walaa) children (Banuun) will benefit (Yanfau),
except (illa) one who (Man') comes to GOD (Ataa-llaha) with (Bi) (37:84) a sound (Saliim) heart (Qal'bin)."
And (Wa) the Garden (El'Jannatu) will be brought near (Uz'lifati) to the pious (Lil' Muttaqiin).
And (Wa) Hell (El'Jahiimu) will be exposed (Burrizati) to the misleaders (Lil' Gaawiin).
And (Wa) they will be told (Qiila La-hum'), "Where (Ai'na) are those (Maa) you used to (Kuntum') worship (Ta'buduun)
besides GOD (Min Duuni-llahi)? Can (Hal') they help you (p) (Yansuruunakum') or (Aw') help themselves (Yantasiruun)?"
And (Fa) they will be capsized (Kub'kibu') therein (Fiiha); they (Hum') and (Wa) those misled (El'Gaawuun),
as well as (Wa) the soldiers (Junuudu) of Lucifer (Ib'liisa), all together (Aj'ma'uun).
They will say (Qaalu') as (Wa) they (Hum') quarrel (Yakh'tasimuun) therein (Fiihaa),
"By GOD (Tallahi), indeed (In) we were (Kunnaa) in (Lafii) clear (Mubiin) error (Dolaalin)
when (Iz') we equated you (the devils) (Nusawwii-kum) with (Bi) the LORD (Rabbi) of the worlds (El'Äälamiin).
"But (Wa) none (Maa) misguided us (Adolla-naa) except (illa) the criminals (El'Muj'rimuun).
"And (Fa) we have (Lanaa) no (Maa Min) intercessors (10:18) (Shaafi'een),
nor (Walaa) a close (Hamiim) friend (Sodiiqin).
"And (Fa) if only (Law' Anna) we could (Lanaa) return (Karratan), then (Fa) we would be (Nakuuna) among (Mina) the believers (El'Mu'miniin)."
Indeed (Inna), there is (La) a sign (Aayatan) in (Fii) that (Zaalika), but (Wa) most of them (Ak'tharu-hum) are (Kaana) not (Maa) believers (Mu'miniin).

The people (Qaw'mu) of Noah (Nuuhin) denied (Kazzabat') the messengers (El'Mur'saliin),
when (Iz') their brother (Akhuu-hum') Noah (Nuuhun) said to them (Qaala Lahum), "Will you not (Ala) be pious (Tattaquun)?
"Indeed, I am (Innii) an honest (Amiin) messenger (Rasuulun) to you (Lakum'). 1
"So (Fa) beware of GOD (Ettaqu'llaha) and (Wa) obey me (Atiiuuni). 1
"For (Wa) I do not (Maa) ask you (As'alu-kum') any (Min') wage (Aj'rin) for it (Älai'hi). My wage (Aj'riya) is only (In' illa) from (Älaa) the LORD (Rabbi) of the worlds (El'Äälimiin). 1
"So (Fa) beware of GOD (Ettaqu'llaha) and (Wa) obey me (Atiiuuni)." 2
They said (Qaaluu'), "Should (A-) we believe you (-nu'minu Laka) while (Wa) you are followed (Ettabaä-ka) by the lowest (El'Ar'zaluun)?"
He (Noah) said (Qaala), "And (Wa) what (Maa) is my knowledge (il'mii) in what (Bimaa) they have been (Kaanu') doing (Ya'maluun)?
"Their reckoning (Hisaabu-hum') is only (In' illa) with (Älaa) my LORD (Rabbii), if (Law') you could perceive (Tash'uruun).
"For (Wa) I am (Ana') not (Maa Bi) to dismiss (Toaridi) the believers (El'Mu'miniin).
"I am (Ana') only (In' illa) a clear (Mubiin) warner (Naziirun)."
They said (Qaalu'), "If (La'in) you do not (Lam') refrain (Tantahi), O (Yaa) Noah (Nuuhu), you will (La) be (Takuunanna) among (Mina) those who are stoned (El'Mar'juumiin)."
He (Noah) said (Qaala), "LORD (Rabbi), indeed (Inna) my people (Qaw'mii) have denied me (Kazzabuuni).
"So (Fa) disclose (Ef'tah') between me and them (Bai'nii Wa Bai'na-hum') with conquest (Fat'han) and (Wa) rescue me (Najjinii) together with (Wa) those (Man) with me (Maeya) of (Mina) the believers (El'Mu'miniin)."
So (Fa) We rescued him (Anjai'naa-hu) and (Wa) those (Man) with him (Maähu) in (Fii) the loaded (El'Mash'huun) ship (ark) (El'Ful'ki),
and then (Thumma) We drowned (Ag'raq'naa) the remaining (El'Baaqiin) afterwards (Ba'du).
Indeed (Inna), there is (La) a sign (Aayatan) in (Fii) that (Zaalika), but (Wa) most of them (Ak'tharu-hum) are (Kaana) not (Maa) believers (Mu'miniin).
And (Wa) indeed (Inna), your LORD (s) (Rabba-ka) is (Lahuwa) the ALMIGHTY (El' Äziizu), the MERCIFUL (Er' Rahiim). 4
Ad (Äädun) denied (Kazzabat') the messengers (El'Mur'saliin),
when (Iz') their brother (Akhuu-hum') Hud (Huudun) said (Qaala) to them (Lahum'), "Will you not (Allaa) be pious (Tattaquun)?
"Indeed, I am (Innii) an honest (Amiin) messenger (Rasuulun) to you (Lakum'). 2
"So (Fa) beware of GOD (Ettaqu'llaha) and (Wa) obey me (Atiiuuni). 3
"For (Wa) I do not (Maa) ask you (As'alu-kum') any (Min') wage (Aj'rin) for it (Älai'hi). My wage (Aj'riya) is only (In' illa) from (Älaa) the LORD (Rabbi) of the worlds (El'Äälamiin). 2
"Do you construct (A'tab'nuuna) a sign (Aayatan) on (Bi) every (Kulli) mountain peak (Rii'en), amusing yourselves (Ta'bathuun)
and (Wa) taking (Tattakhizuuna) factories (Masoaniä) so that you (Laällakum') might remain (Takh'luduun)?!
"And (Wa) when (Izaa) you attack (Batosh'tum), you attack (Batosh'tum') as tyrants (Jabbaariin)?
"So (Fa) beware of GOD (Ettaqu'llaha) and (Wa) obey me (Atiiuuni). 4
"And (Wa) reverence (Ettaqu') the One who (Ellazii) furnished you (Amadda-kum) with what (Bimaa) you know (Ta'lamuun).
"HE has furnished you (Amadda-kum) with (Bi) livestock (An'äämin) and (Wa) children (Baniin),
as well as (Wa) gardens (Jannaatin) with (Wa) springs (Uyuun).
"Indeed, I (Innii) fear (Akhaafu) for you (Älai'kum') the punishment (Äzaaba) of a terrible (Äziim) day (Yaw'min)."
They said (Qaalu'), "It is the same (Sawaaun) for us (Älai'naa) whether (A') you admonition (-waäz'ta) or whether (Am') you are (Takun) not (Lam') of (Mina) the admonishers (El'Waaeziin).
"This (Haazaa) is only (In' illa) the character (Khuluqu) of the predecessors (El'Awwaliin),
and (Wa) we (Nah'nu) will not (Maa Bi) be punished (Muäzzabiin)."
And (Fa) they denied him (Kazzabuu-hu), so (Fa) We annihilated them (Ah'lak'naa-hum'). Indeed (Inna), there is (La) a sign (Aayatan) in (Fii) that (Zaalika), but (Wa) most of them (Ak'tharu-hum) are (Kaana) not (Maa) believers (Mu'miniin).
And (Wa) indeed (Inna), your LORD (s) (Rabba-ka) is (Lahuwa) the ALMIGHTY (El' Äziizu), the MERCIFUL (Er' Rahiim). 5
Thamud (Thamuudu) denied (Kazzabat') the messengers (El'Mur'saliin),
when (Iz') their brother (Akhuu-hum') Shelah (Soalihun) said (Qaala) to them (Lahum'), "Will you not (Alaa) be pious (Tattaquun)?
"Indeed, I am (Innii) an honest (Amiin) messenger (Rasuulun) to you (Lakum'). 3

"For (Wa) I do not (Maa) ask you (As'alu-kum') any (Min') wage (Aj'rin) for it (Älai'hi). My wage (Aj'riya) is only (In' illa) from (Älaa) the LORD (Rabbi) of the worlds (El'Äälamiin). 3
"Will you be left (Atut'rakuuna) safely (Aaminiin) in (Fii) that which (Maa) is here (Haahunaa),
in (Fii) gardens (Jannaatin) with (Wa) springs (Uyuun),
as well as (Wa) planting (Zuruuen) and (Wa) date palms (Nakh'lin) which appears (Tal'u-ha) for ingestion (Hadiim),
and (Wa) you engrave (Tan'hituuna) attractive (Faarihiin) houses (Buyuutan) out of (Mina) the mountains (El'Jibaali)?
"So (Fa) beware of GOD (Ettaqu'llaha) and (Wa) obey me (Atiiuuni). 6
"And do not (Walaa) obey (Tutiiuu') the command (Am'ra) of the profligates (El'Mus'rifiin),
who (Ellaziina) corrupt (Yuf'siduuna) in the land (Fiil' Ar'di), and (Wa) they do not (Laa) reform (Yus'lihuun)."
They said (Qaaluu'), "You (Anta) are only (Innamaa) of (Mina) those bewitched (El'Musahhariin).
"You (Anta) are only (Maa illa) a human (Basharun) like us (Mith'lu-naa), so bring (Fa'ti Bi) a sign (Aayatin), if (In) you should be (Kunta) of (Mina) the truthful (Es'Soadiqiin)."
He (Shelah) said (Qaala) "This (Haazihi) is a she-camel (Naaqatun). It has (Lahaa) to drink (Shir'bun) and (Wa) you have (Lakum') to drink (Shir'bu) on a fixed (well-known) (Ma'luum) day (Yaw'min).
"So (Wa) do not (Laa) touch her (Tamassuu-ha) with (Bi) harm (Suuin), then (Fa) the punishment (Äzaabu) of a terrible (Äziim) day (Yaw'min) would seize you (Ya'khuza-kum')."
But (Fa) they slaughtered her (Äqaruu-ha), so (Fa) they became (As'bahu') regretful (Naadimiin),
and (Fa) the punishment (El'Äzaabu) seized them (Akhaza-humu). Indeed (Inna), there is (La) a sign (Aayatan) in (Fii) that (Zaalika), but (Wa) most of them (Ak'tharu-hum) are (Kaana) not (Maa) believers (Mu'miniin).
And (Wa) indeed (Inna), your LORD (s) (Rabba-ka) is (Lahuwa) the ALMIGHTY (El' Äziizu), the MERCIFUL (Er' Rahiim). 6
The people (Qaw'mu) of Lot (Luutin) denied (Kazzabat') the messengers (El'Mur'saliin),
when (Iz') their brother (Akhuu-hum') Lot (Luutun) said (Qaala) to them (Lahum'), "Will you not (Alaa) be pious (Tattaquun)?
"Indeed, I am (Innii) an honest (Amiin) messenger (Rasuulun) to you (Lakum'). 4
"So (Fa) beware of GOD (Ettaqu'llaha) and (Wa) obey me (Atiiuuni). 7
"For (Wa) I do not (Maa) ask you (As'alu-kum') any (Min') wage (Aj'rin) for it (Älai'hi). My wage (Aj'riya) is only (In' illa) from (Älaa) the LORD (Rabbi) of the worlds (El'Äälamiin). 4
"Do you approach (A'ta'tuuna) males (Ez'Zuk'raana) of (Mina) all people (El'Äälamiin),
while (Wa) leaving (Tazaruuna) what (Maa) your LORD (Rabbu-kum) has created (Khalaqa) for you (Lakum') as (Min') your wives (Az'waaji-kumu)? In fact (Bal'), you (Antum') are a trespassing (Ääduun) people (Qaw'mun)."
They said (Qaalu'), "If (Lain) you do not (Lam') refrain (Tantahi), O (Yaa) Lot (Luutu), you will (La) be (Takuunanna) of (Mina) those who are expelled (El'Mukh'rajiin)."
He (Lot) said (Qaala), "Indeed, I am (Innii) of (Mina) those who detest (El'qaaliin Li) your actions (Ämali-kum)."
"LORD (Rabbi), rescue me (Najji-nii) and (Wa) my family (Ah'lii) from what (Mimmaa) they do (Ya'maluun)."
So (Fa) We rescued him (Najjai'naa-hu) and (Wa) his family (Ah'la-hu), all together (Aj'maeen)
except (illa) the old woman (his wife) (Äjuuzan), she was among (Fii) those who passed away (El'Gaabiriin).
Then (Thumma) We destroyed (Dammar'naa) the others (El'Aakhariin)
and (Wa) showered (Am'tor'naa) rain (Matoran) upon them (Älai'him), and (Wa) evil (Saa'a) was the rain (Matoru) of those who were warned (El'Munzariin)!
Indeed (Inna), there is (La) a sign (Aayatan) in (Fii) that (Zaalika), but (Wa) most of them (Ak'tharu-hum) are (Kaana) not (Maa) believers (Mu'miniin).

The companions of the jungle (Midian) (As'haabul' Ai'kati) denied (Kazzaba) the messengers (El'Mur'saliin),
when (Iz') Shuaib (Shuäi'bun) said (Qaala) to them (Lahum'), "Will you not (Alaa) be pious (Tattaquun)?

"And (Wa) weigh (Zinu') with (Bi) a straight (El'Mus'taqiim) scale (El'Qis'toasi).
"And (Wa) do not (Laa) depreciate (Tab'khasu') the people (En'Naasa) of their things (Ash'yaa'a-hum'), and do not (Walaa) behave wickedly (Ta'thaw') on earth (Fiil' Ar'di) as corrupters (Muf'sidiin).
"And (Wa) reverence (Ettaqu') the One who (Ellazii) created you (Khalaqa-kum') and (Wa) the past (preceding) (El'Awwaliin) creation (El'Jibillata)."
They said (Qaaluu'), "You (Anta) are only (Innamaa) of (Mina) those bewitched (El'Musahhariin).
"And (Wa) you (Anta) are only (Maa illa) a human (Basharun) like us (Mith'lu-naa), and (Wa) indeed (In'), we think you ('Nazunnu-ka) are of (Lamina) the liars (El'Kaazibiin).
"So (Fa) let the eclipse (Kisafan) of (Mina) the sky (Es'Samaai) come across us (-As'qit' Älai'naa), if (In) you should be (Kunta) truthful (Es'Soadiqiin)."
He (Shuaib) said (Qaala), "My LORD (Rabbii) is aware (A'lamu) of what (Bimaa) you do (Ta'maluun)."
And (Fa) they denied him (Kazzabuu-hu), so (Fa) the punishment (Äzaabu) seized them (Akhaza-hum') on the Day (Yaw'mi) of Shade (Ez'Zullati). Indeed, it (Innahu) was (Kaana) the punishment (Äzaaba) of a terrible (Äziim) day (Yaw'min).
Indeed (Inna), there is (La) a sign (Aayatan) in (Fii) that (Zaalika), but (Wa) most of them (Ak'tharu-hum) are not (Maa) believers (Mu'miniin).
And (Wa) indeed (Inna), your LORD (s) (Rabba-ka) is (Lahuwa) the ALMIGHTY (El' Äziizu), the MERCIFUL (Er' Rahiim). 8
And (Wa) indeed, it (Innahu) is (La) the revelation (17:106) (Tanziilu) of the LORD (Rabbi) of the worlds (El'Äälamiin).
The Honest (El'Amiin) Spirit (Er'Ruuhu) brought it down (Nazala Bi-hi) (16:102)
into (Älaa) your heart (s) (Qal'bi-ka) that (Li) you may be (Takuuna) of (Mina) the warners (El'Munziriin),
in (Bi) a clear (Mubiin)(Ärabiyyin) language (tongue) (Lisaanin); (16:103)
for (Wa) indeed, it (Innahu) is in (Lafii) the scriptures (Zuburi) of the predecessors (El'Awwaliin).
Or has it not (Awalam') been (Yakun) a sign (Aayatan) for them (Lahum') that (An) the scholars (Ulamaau) of the Children of Israel (Banii Is'raa'iila) know it (Ya'lama-hu)? (Old Testament - Isaiah 28:9-13)
Even if (Walaw) We had revealed it (Nazzal'naa-hu) to (Älaa) some (Ba'di) foreigners (El'A'jamiin)
and (Fa) he (the Messenger) read it (Qara'a-hu) to them (Älai'him), they would not (Maa) have been (Kaanu') believers (Mu'miniin) in it (Bihi).
Thus (Kazaalika) have We proceeded it (Salak'naa-hu) in (Fii) the hearts (Quluubi) of the criminals (El'Muj'rimiin).
They will not (Laa) believe (Yu'minuuna) in it (Bihi) until (Hattaa) they see (Yarawu') the painful (Aliim) punishment (El'Äzaaba).
And (Fa) it will come to them (Ya'tiya-hum) surprisingly (Bag'tatan) while (Wa) they do not (Laa) perceive (Yash'uruun).
And (Wa) they will say (Yaquulu'), "Can (Hal') we (Nah'nu) be respited (Munzoruun)?"
So is it (Afa-) for (-bi) Our punishment (Äzaabi-naa) they are hastening (Yas'ta'jiluun)?
Have you (s) then (Afa-) considered (-ra'ai'ta) that (In) We made them enjoy (Matta'naa-hum') for years (Siniin),
and then (Thumma) what (Maa) they were (Kaanu') promised (Yuäduun) came to them (Jaa'a-hum)?
What (Maa) they were (Kaanu') made to enjoy (Yumatta'uun) did not (Maa) avail them (Ag'naa Än'hum).
And (Wa) We did not (Maa) annihilate (Ah'lak'naa) a town (Qar'yatin) except (illa) it had (Lahaa) warners (Munziruun)
as a remembrance (Zik'raa); for (Wa) We are (Kunnaa) not (Maa) unjust (Zoalimiin).
And (Wa) the devils (Es'Shayaatiin) cannot (Maa) descend (Tanazzalat') with it (Bihi),
neither (Wamaa) does it appear (Yanbagii) to them (Lahum') nor (Wamaa) would they be able (Yas'tatii'uun).
Indeed, they (the devils) (Innahum') are (La) expelled (Ma'zuuluun) from (Äni) hearing (Es'Sam'e).
Therefore (Fa) do not (Laa) invoke (Tad'u) another (Aakhara) god (ilaahan) with the GOD (Ch 112) (Maällahi), then (Fa) you would be (Takuuna) among (Mina) those who are punished (El'Muäzzabiin).
And (Wa) warn (Anzir') your (s) (-ka) closest (El'Aq'rabiin) tribe (Äshiirata-).
And (Wa) lower (Ekh'fid') your flank (Janaaha-ka) to whomever (Limani) follows you (s) (Ettabaä-ka) of (Mina) the believers (El'Mu'miniin).
But (Fa) if (In') they disobey you (s) (Äsow'ka), then (Fa) say (Qul'): "Indeed, I am (Innii) free (Bariiun) from what (Mimmaa) you do (Ta'maluun)."
And (Wa) rely on (Tawakkal' Älaa) the ALMIGHTY (El' Äziizi), the MERCIFUL (Er' Rahiim),
the One who (Ellazii) sees you (s) (Yaraa-ka) when (Hiina) you stand (Taquum) (4:102)
and (Wa) your fluctuating (movement) (Taqalluba-ka) among (Fii) those who prostrate (Es'Saajidiin).
Indeed, HE (Innahu) is (Huwa) the HEARER (Es' Samiiu), the OMNISCIENT (El' Äliim).
Shall (Hal') I inform you (Unabbiu-kum') upon (Älaa) whom (Man) the devils (Es'Shayaatiin) descend (Tanazzalu)?
They descend (Tanazzalu) upon (Älaa) every (Kulli) sinful (Athiim) liar (Affaakin),
to present (Yul'quuna) a hearing (26:212) (Es'Sam'ä), but (Wa) most of them (Ak'tharu-hum') are liars (Kaazibuun).
As for (Wa) the poets (Es'Shuäraau), the strayers (El'Gaawuun) will follow them (Yattabiu-humu).
Do you not (Alam') see that (Annahum') they (the poets) roam (Yahiimuun) in (Fii) every (Kulli) valley (Waadin),
and (Wa) that they (Annahum') say (Yaquuluuna) what (Maa) they do not (Laa) do (Yaf'äluun)?
Except (illa) those who (Ellaziina) believe (Aamanu') and do (Ämilu') good deeds (Es'Soalihaati) and commemorate GOD (Zakaru'llaha) frequently (Kathiiran) and (Wa) prevail (defend) (Entasoru') after (Min Ba'di) they (Maa) were wronged (Zulimu').
